GoogleWe had a fantastic experience with Selwyn Pacheco from Leaders! Finding our first home to rent together was a breeze, I was running quite late for the initial appointment but this was no problem, as they were very accommodating and waited for me :) Friendly, professional, efficient service throughout the very very speedy process. The fees are very low, the rent is very reasonable for the size and location of the property and I feel confident that Leaders matched us with a suitable landlord, as we will be longer term tenants. They have a good selection of properties available and our letting agent has worked here for 9 years so we felt very confident in trusting his knowledge and expertise. Also the communication was brilliant throughout, via text, phone and email. The inventory of the property was very detailed and everything was upfront and as described. My references were checked extremely quickly and the online system for signing documents and making payments is very clear and easy to use. I would not hesitate to use Leaders in Forest Hill again, we are so happy in our beautiful new home! Thank you so much :)

GoogleThis was the first time me and my boyfriend looked at an apartment through an agency and we were a bit nervous about it since you hear all kinds of bad stories about bad service. When we met with James, however, he made us feel at ease and was sympathetic right away. He explained everything we needed to know about the place and process and did not get tired of my many questions. This has been a great experience and we are very happy with our new home thanks to Leaders Forest Hill!

GooglePoor communication as landlord and required nagging multiple times until anything was done - some things still not repaired 6 months later

Hi Shannon, we're saddened to see that we have received a low star rating. Here at Leaders we work hard to provide fantastic service to all of our customers and so it's discouraging to learn that you have had a negative experience with us. We recognise the importance of providing a high level of service to our customers throughout their experience with us, we believe that if any issues arise that through the use of effective communication we are able to swiftly address these and alleviate any concerns, we regret to hear that you feel the communication from our team at Croydon has been poor. It can be noted that when dealing with repairs we are contracted by the Landlord as managing agent to act under their instruction and this means that if any issues are reported to us we relay these onto the Landlord to seek their instruction and authorisation to proceed. Having had the chance to discuss your comments with the property management team in Croydon they have informed me that there is an outstanding repair at the property in relation to the fence; unfortunately as the team have not had the Landlords authorisation to proceed with the repair they have not been able to rectify this. We will always advise our client landlords of their repairing obligations however we are not party to the tenancy agreement in place and do not have the authority to enforce works to proceed which would be in contradiction of the Landlords instruction. We acknowledge there was a repair to the worktop within the kitchen which sadly took some time to rectify, following on from the above the reason for this delay due to needing the Landlords authorisation for the repair, once we received authorisation the repair was undertaken within a reasonable timeframe. We recognise the importance of all reviews and appreciate you giving us the chance to improve moving forward by providing us with your feedback about your experience, from briefly looking into this I do not believe that we have acted incorrectly during your experience with us however would like to offer our sincere apologies that you felt the service you received fell below the high standards expected of Leaders.
