GoogleI have been trying to find a rental property for months but, in a busy market, it's very competitive and properties go quickly. I was thrilled yesterday when I called and managed to book a viewing on a property. I was offered 3 different slots, chose one, and was told the viewing was booked and that I would be sent a virtual tour by email. I was instructed to watch the virtual tour and then respond re-confirming I was happy to view the property in person. The process seemed very professional. Compared to other agents I've experienced. The trouble is, when I sent my email confirmation, I was then sent an email back saying all of the slots were taken and I can no longer view the property. So basically, they gave someone the slot I had chosen earlier that day!? It's appalling that you tell prospective viewers one thing but do another. Very poor service.

GoogleHaving had the same tenant in situ for c 12 years, it was a bit of a shock when he decided to move out. The Leaders team quickly organised the refurbishment works and once done arranged a new letting. A thoroughly professional outfit - I’d recommend them anyway. Vicki oversaw the works with her colleague Jean and Helen arranged the letting. A great team.

GooglePushing the no deposit option to make you pay more. 12 month tenancy you pay more than a deposit and from a landlord perspective you get rubbish tenants. Stay clear landlords and tenants

GoogleRecently moved into a Leaders property with my partner. I would most defiantly approve the experience we received. I got an email response within hours every time, something I can't reiterate for other estate agents. James Henman was a little star when it came to getting everything turned around so quickly and I can't speak highly enough. We offered a cheeky price with some small requests but all requests were upheld and we're looking forward to our stay in Forest Hill.

GooglePretty rubbish experience as a prospective tenant - had a viewing and put an offer in (asking price) but they are so keen on the Zero Deposit option where you pay £55 a month instead of a deposit but are not covered for any damage. So when we said we wanted a proper deposit instead they just lost interest. Although James Henman said he'd present the offer to the landlord, he just sat on it and it was only when we asked a few days later that he said the landlord had accepted another offer (that had come through days after ours). I'm pretty sure the offer was not accepted because we went for cash deposit, James said it was because the landlord preferred to rent to couples but this is clearly made up and made no sense. They say in the email 'this may be the tipping factor in your offer' if you go for their zero deposit scheme which to me seems like a veiled threat to convince people to go for it if they want the landlord to see their offer. Leaders (/James) should have - Put the offer to the landlord when it was made, like he said he would, not wait around for an offer that suited him - Been honest about why the offer didn't get accepted - really need to be transparent given the veiled threats in the email - Had the courtesy to tell people their offer had been rejected so they don't waste time and end up finding it out from Rightmove.

GoogleWe are currently renting a house through Leaders, down in The Witterings. Charlie and Chris were the letting agents and we found them extremely helpful, Charlie actually suggested this house for us when we rang about another one. This one suits us far better, he gave us good advice. The rental process, although lengthy was straightforward and we felt they were informative and supportive, especially when I kept calling them with more queries! I feel we have had a very good experience renting through Leaders. I would highly recommend them and would approach them again if we find we are in need of a rental property in the future.
