GoogleI moved two weeks ago thanks to John D Wood at Saint Maragert's. They professionally provided me all the information I needed before taking the new flat and they've been always helpful in all the process, including asking my requests to the landlord. Would absolutely recommend.

GoogleTo whom it may concern, It is true to say that cliches exist for a reason. The old adage of House Moving being one of the big five of life’s stresses certainly rang true for my recent purchase of a flat in St Margaret’s. The perfect storm of a rather ill, and thus unobtainable solicitor, coupled with a jittery vendor, plus the complications of exchanging over Christmas certainly added several more grey hairs to my head. Indeed there were many times it looked as if the whole thing would collapse. There is no doubt in my mind, that without the patient, and delicate negotiating skills of Simon Philp of John D Wood, we would not have exchanged and completed. I can’t say I am the most trusting when it comes to Estate Agents, so working with Simon was a breath of fresh air. Yours sincerely Sophie Phillips St Margaret’s

GoogleLucy was incredibly helpful and supportive throughout the process of us renting a property as were the whole team she works with. We couldn't wish for more supportive estate agents especially as we had to deal with several estate agents before we came to John D Wood that were a lot less helpful.

GoogleMy contact at JD Wood was Eloise Emery - she has been great. There was a bit of churn in the staff that were looking after me but Eloise was there throughout. Great contact and has helped throughout the process of renting and ultimately moving on, which I'm expecting to do shortly.

GoogleSimon Philip has been extremely professional and very helpful throughout the whole purchase process. I highly recommend him and John D Wood & Co. Updates are frequent and detailed from him and his team. He also provided a gift set at completion which was a lovely surprise.

GoogleSimon and Jessica were the estate agents for the house we were buying. They were absolutely brilliant throughout and especially when it seemed everyone else involved was being difficult. They kept communication going throughout, often responding many time every day. They were honest and open with advice. They clearly went out of their way to help us and the rest of the chain. We really don’t think the chain would have held together without their dedication. I would highly recommend them to anyone and will will definitely use them again and again. Charlie & Abby

GoogleJess and Simon were amazing in both the sale and purchase process of our property in St Margarets. Above and beyond in commitment and getting the sale over the line. Jess found us a property that hadn't even come to market and we can't wait to move in! In the interim the Lettings team were wonderful in getting us a fantastic rental for 6 months until we complete on our purchase. All in all what could have been a very stressful situation was managed with ease by Jess and the team. Bravo guys!

GoogleWe are first time buyers and purchased a property through John D Wood. Simon and Jessica were great from start to finish, regularly updating us on the progress of the purchase and answering any questions that we had. As we are refurbishing the property, we needed access quite a few times to get various quotes/measurements, and they were both very helpful in letting us in when needed. We wouldn’t hesitate in recommending them.

GoogleHorrible. It's been 2 months since we left our house and we are still waiting for our deposit. Also, we have talked with our landlord and she doesn't know why they don't return to us our money. We are still sending them emails but they don't answer. Awful service.

Googleabsolute horrible experience. we left the property in August and still did not receive back out deposit. throughout our stay of 18 months property management failed to communicate. weeks of unanswered emails and calls.

GoogleI need to start by saying I absolutely HATE letting agents. Most of them are just trying to push properties that have no relation to what you're looking for. I also need to mention I have a small dog, so you can only imagine that an already difficult task only gets more complicated. That being said, I have been swept off my feet by James Mooney from John D. Wood's Fulham office. I first spoke with James in October 2018 after calling about a property I saw through Rightmove. Although that one was not available at the time, he sent through some that he thought could suit, which I used to provide feedback. I then moved on to send him two links of properties that were up to the standards we were looking for. That was really the trigger for a very personalized exchange in the spam of 3 months. I literally have a thread with 43 emails before we ever even met. He would ask about me and Bruno (my dog) and would address us both whenever he communicated with me. He respected my wishes of not only NOT being added to their mailing list, but also not to call or contact me unless it was relevant. The times he emailed me were just to touch base and to let me know he was still on the lookout. All in a very friendly and emphatic manner. Mid January rolls in and I get a call from him, the 1st since our initial call and after all of the emailing. I couldn't get it, but I then found an email saying he had found THE one. He told me he didn't have photos yet but, if I trusted him, we could see straight away. What was I going to do? I had to, at a minimum, meet my virtual best friend. And, boy, did he deliver! I have to say this was the best house from the ones we had seen, despite it having only one bathroom (we wanted ideally two but could compromise on that aspect) We obviously made an offer and, luckily, it was accepted. James was diligent during the process between the offer and the actual move date. He helped with so many things, to the point that my skeptical boyfriend (he has the same opinion of agents that I have) completely converted. We three (I'll include Bruno on this) are James' fans. Thank you James for finding us a dream place we can call home! If you read all this review, please, do get in touch with him if you ever need to find the place of your dreams.

GoogleWe purchased a property in Parsons Green through Zara Watterson of John D Wood Estate Agents and I cannot praise Zara enough for the professional manner in which she dealt with the whole transaction. It was a frustrating and drawn out transaction which was exacerbated by the fact that we reside overseas. However, Zara was unfailing in her professional approach to the extent that when our solicitor was away she took it upon herself to follow up with the seller’s solicitors in order to give us regular updates on the progress of the contract. Zara often went beyond the call of duty; on one occasion I emailed her on a Sunday evening and she responded immediately, despite being in hospital and extremely ill. It was refreshing to deal with someone so efficient, professional and gracious.

GoogleJohn D Wood were Fantastic. Having met at least 12 different agents from different agencies in the last 24hrs I can honestly say that James Mooney from John D Wood was the best. He was very un-pushy, happy to give us his time and gave honest advice knowing he was unlikely to gain anything from us. I could not recommend James more highly.
