The Wimbledon branch provided a standard service. At times it felt like organising surveyors following our building survey on the property we were purchasing was a nuisance for them however they agreed to it but not willingly. It made the process a bit more stressful but otherwise things went to plan so didnt have to speak to them much after this.

We have used the Wimbledon Branch several times over the years to sell (twice), buy once but to also to use as managing agents when we were renting out our property. All the staff have in the various departments have consistently been helpful, reliable and willing to go above and beyond (particularly in the managing whilst we were away). Our most recent sale experience was handled in an extremely professional manner from start to finish with particular mention to Warren for keeping us informed every step of the way and making a sale from abroad as pain free as possible. If a problem arose it was sorted out quickly and efficiently. Thank you all for making what can be a very stressful situation effortless.

We worked with Adrian at John D Wood in the Wimbledon branch to find our house in Southfields. The level of service we got was brilliant and was far superior than other estate agencies. Adrian helped us achieve a quick purchase and continue to help us after the sale went through. I would highly recommend Adrian and John D Wood!

Having used a few agents in the past when moving flat we were pleasantly surprised by John D. Wood. They were punctual for viewings, the vetting process was quick, all documents could be signed online and they were very accommodating meeting us outside office hours for key handovers. Best of all it was after 1st June 2019 so we didn't pay any fees at all.

John D Wood were amazing! Saw me through a stunningly complicated house sale with great professionalism, encouragement and good humour. Can't recommend highly enough!

Another estate agent very badly messed up the launch of our house onto the market, but John D Wood managed to recover the situation and secure two good offers (in a slightly sticky market) within a couple of months. Due mainly to our buyers' solicitor, the sale then progressed slowly and with difficulty, requiring much patience, perseverance and problem-solving by the whole team at JDW and Annie in particular. As it turned out, more lateral thinking and excellent deal-making by Annie meant that we ended up buying (off-market) through JDW as well. Despite it all being hugely complicated and problematic, the sale and purchase got done in the end which probably wouldn't have been the case without the talents and above-and-beyond efforts of JDW/Annie. We are extremely grateful to them and thankful that we chose to move to them after our disastrous experience with the agent we chose initially.

My wife and returned recently to the UK (Oxford) after 2 years in the US. We had to find a flat to let while still in the US. The JDW team found us an outstanding flat, newly renovated to very high standard under their direction. They made the entire process of letting smooth and enjoyable, ensuring we are now in an ideal home. We give their team in Summertown the highest possible marks, and recommend them fully if you need a reliable, professional and personable firm to help with your own move.

We rented through John D. Wood and they were absolutely brilliant and utterly professional, especially Carol who dealt with any issues that arose speedily. We've been renting family homes for years and this is not always the case, however much you pay! John D. Wood were a head and shoulders above any others we've used.

We were very fortunate to have let through John D Wood in Summertown for the past three years. Celia helped us get our first flat when we initially moved to the UK from the US and it was a very positive experience, which we were particularly grateful for since we were unable to view the place in person before moving. Celia was extremely helpful, responsive, and the flat exceeded our expectations when we arrived! We also dealt extensively with Carol who helped manage our property and she was always very kind, easy to work with, and dealt promptly with any concerns. When we moved to another property managed by John D Wood, Carol, Celia and Jackie were really helpful in finding us a new place and the transition went very smoothly. The second property was also managed by Carol and we continued to be very happy with her service! In general, we found the staff to be very kind and accommodating and are so happy to have worked with them!

if i could give no star i would.. please never rent properties with them..they changed 10 managers in less than one year, latest excuse for not dealing with problems was that, when the previous manager left, they could not open her email box to check..ah ah they are a laugh just look around Richmond and St Margarets how many properties by them 1-2 only..what a shame Fits Gibbon was such a community one , this is awful maybe they should just go away
