Last year, I have experienced both purchasing and rental with John D Wood Summertown branch, I have to say they are providing absolutely the top service in North Oxford. Carol at the letting department is the best agent that I have ever met in the last 14 years. She always respond to requests promptly, truly put her heart in taking care of the tenant, and even give me her personal what's app so I can reach her during her holiday!! Jackie and Wei are also so lovely and helpful during the renting and purchasing process. I def recommend them to anyone who plans to sell/buy/rent.

AVOID THIS DISHONEST AGENCY

Worst real estate agency I've ever dealt with. Almost going to bring them to court. Razvan Boerean was our property manager. We have been trying to get our deposit back for more than a year. Every time we called there was some excuse like "He's out for lunch" or "He's on annual leave soon" followed by "he'll call you back". He didn't call us back and we've had to chase our deposit for months. It's been more than a year since we moved out and still haven't gotten our deposit back yet. Furthermore, our emails are just ignored and not even an explanation for such a delay or the costs of any deductions was given. Our naivete has been taken advantage of because we didn't know that our deposit insurance only lasted for 3 months and now they are very obviously just trying to steal our deposit. I have sent the last email to them with a 14 day deadline for an explanation or my deposit back. In a week if I don't receive anything I will take all the evidence I have and bring them to court. Avoid this unscrupulous company for your own safety.

We had a great experience with the John D Wood Fulham Broadway office. They were in charge of selling the flat we had been renting for a while and made the whole process very smooth. Terence and Huw managed to sell the flat with just one viewing, minimising nuisance for us as tenants. They also coordinated very efficiently with both the seller and the buyer in order for us as tenants to be the less impacted possible. John D Wood then helped us find a new place to rent very efficiently. Felix was very proactive and diligent both at the viewing stage and subsequently with all the paperwork. He went the extra mile for us, trying to facilitate as many things as possible with the landlord prior to our move-in date and also being involved in the few action points after our move.

The worst agent service I have ever seen in my life. We have been dealing with them for more than a year. We wrote a letter to them complaining and nothing was ever done. They delegate their work to everyone, they just pretend they work. Never hire them.
