GoogleIf you're renting be careful of hidden fees upon check out. They apparently don't like to put such fees in your actual contract. Also don't be fooled into then thinking you're paying for a service from them with that check out fee - you shouldn't expect to receive any communications in a timely manner.

We have had dealings with many different Estate Agent in the last few yearsand Intercounty is by far the best. Joe Baggs, who we had the most dealings with was friendly and very helpful always answering our questions quickly and efficiently. The manager Helen was equally as lovely. The whole experience of moving was made easier because of them so thank you.

GoogleWe sold our house in Great Dunmow (via Great Dunmow) office, and were extremely pleased and happy with the service we received. A buyer was found quite quickly, with the sale going through smoothly and expediently We predominantly dealt with Jenny who always responded quickly and helpfully to emails, and was tenacious with progressing (chasing the buyers' solicitors who were slow to deal with various items), and general liaison. All in all, a very positive experience, and would most certainly recommend Intercounty, and would definitely use again.

Just bought a house, and couldn't be happier with the whole process from the B/S Intercounty Estate Agents team. From viewing with Jack Wilkinson to discussing the particulars with Olivia Vanlint and then progressing the sale with Doug Whybrow, they were the loveliest, friendliest people to deal with. They sorted out everything, answered all questions and made the process not feel scary at all...which it usually is for first-time buyers! Having dealt with previous Estate/Letting Agents before coming to Intercounty, I would thoroughly recommend Intercounty for their knowledge, help, advice and just being utterly nice. Definitely need more of that in the world! :)

I'm from Texas, so the agencies here are very different for me. They did what was needed for us to get the rental, however, our landlady doesn't do electronic signature so we had to come into the office and do the paperwork all over again. You would think they should know what their client prefers. Additionally, the third party inspectors they hired to look at the house before we moved in made a lot of mistakes on the inspection report. So it was a lot of faph, but in the end, we got the rental and have moved in.

As you rightly mentioned, all inventory’s are undertaken by a third party, this is to give tenants a completely fair & independent check out process.
