GoogleBoth Jamie and Kellie have been very helpful in finding an accommodation in Glasgow. As an expat it can be quite hard to find a property in a foreign country. However, with their help we found a beautiful place for both my partner and I, in a very short timespan (only about 2-3 weeks from our initial viewing to receiving the property keys). I highly recommend their services.

GoogleWe were asked to complete a review of our experience with countrywide and I don’t think they realised how stupid that suggestion was, if I could give them zero stars that’s what they would get! From the second we entered the flat (in August of this year) to the second we left (November of this year) it was one stressful horrific experience after another! We completed our referencing and prior to had offered 6 months up front as we needed somewhere asap! The agent dealing with it (Olivia) had told us we didn’t have to do 6 months up front and said that infact we’d passed our referencing and could live there on a month to month basis “this is great” we thought, WRONG! Not even a month later Olivia calls us to ask for the remaining 5 months rent with our next months rent after already having us sign a tenancy agreement (did I mention our daughter at the time was only 6 months old) so not only was this in breach of the agreement but just all round shows poor character, we were then told we would have to be re referenced and that the landlord could back out of the agreement (at this point we were terrified we’d become homeless (Fiona Olivia’s manager) contacted us to say they’d just have to go in blind faith and accept the origional agreement but we’d still need to re do referencing (nope tenancy agreement was signed so hard pass Fiona 😉) as well as all of that (which by the way out of nowhere they dropped because I assume they realised how illegal it was) the furnished flat was not as advertised had dirty run down disgusting furniture and ratty disgusting carpets and while we had our 7 month old in the property we were advised they wanted to parade strangers around to conduct viewings (but of course I was the bad guy for pointing out the obvious safe guarding issues there wasn’t I?) I was condescended by Fiona and interrupted at every attempt to speak and when I’d eventually gotten frustrated and interrupted her to just get one word in was patronised for interrupting her (stellar customer service there fi 🥰) we asked for the furniture to be removed so we can move our own clean and comfortable furniture in as theirs was abysmal at best and even had environmental health tell them it wasn’t fit for purpose, eventually just so our daughter had a bedroom we had to dismantle one of the (broken) beds and move it to the side so we could set up a safe sleeping space for her as they were ignoring us constantly unless it was to threaten us or harass us for money and now we’re at risk of loosing half or more of our deposit because of their negligence and incompetence! The flat was vile and outdated and wasn’t even worth half of what we were paying and if I could describe them in few words it would be money grabbing master manipulators and gaslighters, they have a reputation in the real-estate industry and not a good one we never received rent receipts either which is stated in our tenancy agreement instead we had constant emails telling us we were in arrears when we were not at the time I write this review we are technically in arrears as we asked them to take the notice period from our deposit but that’s the only time we’ve ever been late with the rent but as they were in breach of the tenancy agreement I would argue that they don’t have any right to claim to our deposit but that’s just my opinion, we are so glad to be rid of these people and I urge everyone to avoid them where possible in the future as they have no regard for tenant welfare and when challenged or held to task become rude confrontational and verbally abusive, I also due to being so enraged and angry with them asked them to only talk with my husband and each time they ignored this, we are now looking at lawyers and legal advisors and plan to take this further as our treatment from this agency was vile and abhorrent

GoogleAbsolute shower of cowboys. I would advise not to use this company. I am renting a property in Glasgow through these and have had nothing but trouble from day one. They have no interest at all in the tenant. There have been issues in this property that were reported years ago that are still to be addressed. I have a fridge/freezerwith a sticker on it stating DO NOT USE after Feb 2023! If I could have given them less than one star I most certainly would of. Tracey Porter
