GoogleI let my property in Alton, Hampshire with Charters. From the very beginning of the process to the very end they have been so professional, friendly and knowledgeable. I am so impressed with everyone I have dealt with over the past two years, Maz, Jacqui, Charlie and Kirstie to name a few. I paid Charters to manage my property which was such a worthwhile decision. It has been completely trouble free. They were also fastidious in respect of finding a suitable tenant for me. I highly recommend Charters Lettings and will not hesitate to use them in the future if I decide to let another property. Thank you Charters!

GoogleI can’t thank Kirstie, Lucy, and Jackie enough for their help. I’d been struggling to find a home that accepted pets and was close to giving up and moving back with family when they called me at just the right moment, and it turned out to be the house I REALLY wanted. Lucy kindly showed me around, and it was an instant decision. They even went the extra mile by sending me photos of the garden with a thoughtful message about how my cats wouldn’t get lost in the grass. I’m very pleased with the support I've received. They're all professional, caring, and genuinely thoughtful.

GoogleI made an enquiry on a property, after some time I received a call whilst at work, was told I could have a viewing but it would have to be 5pm, I explained that I was at work and asked if we could do a little later to allow me time to get over to the property for a viewing, and was told no, they were not going to add anymore slots, so I agreed, took the afternoon off work unpaid. I then recalled and asked if it would be possible to put a holding deposit on the property as both me and my partner were very interested, but they explained I would have to come view the place and then all who was interested could put their offers on and they will send them all to the landlord at the end of the day. 40 minutes before my viewing, I got an email saying the property is no longer available as the landlord had accepted an offer. I then left this same review, only to receive a call the next day insisting it was a big misunderstanding, and they asked me to remove the review and in doing so they would work with me to find a new home, after removing the review they said we will give you a call in a couple days to get the ball rolling. That was almost 2 months ago. This estate agent will clearly lie, gaslight in order to reach their targets and quotes. Generally avoid this estate agents if you do not want the hassle of losing money and having your time wasted.

GoogleWe have recently completed on a tricky house purchase through Charters Alton. Our rating is based on our experience of the staff at the branch at Alton. If we were to rate our allocated Charters sales progressor . We had issues throughout with the Sales progressor avoiding calls and not communicating, thankfully from start to finish Toby and Jane went the extra mile to make up for the issues. When we were at the point of withdrawing from the sale due to the poor service from the progression team, Jane rescued the sale by going above and beyond to get the purchase back on track, she is a huge asset to Charters Alton and excellent in her job role. Toby was our first point of contact at Charters and also brilliant at his job. Very much a people person, always cheerful, patient and ready to help. Thank you both for pulling everything together, hugely appreciated.
