GoogleElla was so helpful with the sale of our property but also with helping us look for another property. We sold ours before it was even advertised really, thanks to Charters being proactive and getting people round to view almost instantly! Great service!

GoogleI can highly recommend Charters in CF. In particular Mike was great when he did the initial valuation and start up of the marketing process. Elle in the sales team I must say has been impeccable throughout, keeping me fully informed on all occasions and passing over to the progression team. Victoria the office manager also helped deal with a successful sale with a short time frame. Very well done to you and thank you all for a job well done.

GoogleCharters Alton has made our whole mortgage process an absolute breeze! Ed and Jonathan both very professional and friendly and efficient. They kept us updated and answer all our queries. Rob who is absolutely fantastic, he quickly got as a lender and made the process extremely easy esp as a firsts time buyer. Also thank you Charters for acknowledging NHS and other keyworkers. Charters Alton highly recommended. Amazing team!!

GoogleI have had dealings with Charters in being a potential buyer of a property which was on the market with them. When I called to arrange a viewing I was told there was no time to show me this property for just over a week as they were too busy. This property was also on the market with another agent so I called them to see if I could view the property and managed to see it that same evening. A week later we had put in an offer and were in the process of buying said property. The experience I have had with charters since then has been, in my opinion, one of complete unprofessionalism. Firstly after we had our offer accepted on the property through another agent, charters ignored instruction to take the listing down from right move and their website for the best part of a week, leaving us potentially exposed to being gazumped. It took several requests from various parties for them to remove the property from right move. Now weeks after this I am informed that charters have contacted the owner of the house we are in the process of buying, and told them that we are pulling out of the sale and have offered on another property. Understandably the owner grew concerned and had to contact the agent we are buying through to ask if this was in fact true. Our agent reassured him that this was not the case. Charters had completely misinformed the seller and put in jeopardy, our whole chain. This whole experience has been one that has instilled in me, for any future buying or selling, that I will not under any circumstances deal with charters. I feel ever since we had our offer accepted on our new home, they have gone out of their way to throw a spanner in the works. This shows me that the companies values are not in line with the community and spirit of chandlers Ford. I would not recommend this company for people selling and I would not recommend this company for people looking to buy.

GoogleAttended a scheduled viewing only to find on arrival that no access to the property had been arranged. Significant time wasted travelling to and from the property in question. Staff were very apologetic, but on this occasion their professional standards fell well short of that which should be reasonably expected.

GoogleThe agency provided help and outstanding communication during our process of renting. In comparison to other agencies, we did not have to wait days to hear from them, they were always helping us even if it was on the weekend. I would definitely recommend Charters as it is the most effective agency I have ever met.

GoogleThe team at Winchester Charters are passionate, know their clients really well and are responsive and professional. The whole process is managed professionally. Nony is brilliant she had sold our property within 24 hours of us signing up. Her knowledge of the local housing market is unrivalled. Then Gemma and her team were brilliant in keeping the whole process on track. We actually bought a property through Charters in Alresford and Gemma managed both our sale and purchase, and it got very difficult but she kept calm and saw it through to a successful conclusion.PositiveResponsiveness, Professionalism

GoogleOur experience with Charters was a somewhat bumpy ride as the house we were due to buy last year (2019) unfortunately fell through. However throughout our journey with Charters the staff could not have been more helpful. We dealt with Jamie, Johnathan and Edward at Charters in Alton and they were incredibly friendly, informative, understanding and got back to us very quickly. They were always happy to give advice and guidance and nothing was ever too much effort for them. After the sale fell through they made every effort to find an alternative house purchase for us but were never pushy and understood exactly what we were searching for. Having been searching for our first home for over a year now we have dealt with many different estate agents and I can honestly say of them all Charters is certainly one of the best and I would happily recommend them to anyone.

GoogleCharters and Laura Parris particularly have been fabulous during our protracted ( due to Covid ) and often challenging recent house purchase. Wonderfully responsive, knowledgeable, empathetic and helpful, they've worked with me through the ups and downs of this process for which I'm super grateful. Laura has also gone out of their way to help with local knowledge and advice that have been a godsend when moving to a new area. I would strongly recommend Charters to anyone looking to buy or sell, you'll be in safe hands

GoogleSuch was Charters incompetence that I had to communicate directly with the buyer to get things done! Even when we did this, Charters still claimed they were "waiting for information" even though we had BOTH provided that information. Charters also have a cosy relationship with Dutton Gregory Solicitors (family members working at both firms - wink wink) and they recommend each others services. And then give the most shockingly bad service. They charge a lot of money, do nothing for it and are very pompus. I've bought and sold circa 15 houses before and Charters are by far the worst estate agent I've dealt with. Bishops please come back!
