Excellent service. Many agencies treat potential tenants very poorly but Christina at Charters was so helpful and kind trying to find us the right house. Highly recommend contacting these guys if you are looking to rent in and around Winchester.

Gail was amazing in trying to help us rent a property; phoning us on a regular basis whenever a new property came up. Every other estate agent that we registered with, (and we registered with more than 20) hardly gave us the time of day. Charters sold my partner's property but we were overall disappointed with the service. The advert looked good but this seems to be done by another company anyway. Viewings were few & far between & always conducted by someone different who did not know our house, in fact at every stage of the process we dealt with a new person & never saw the person who visited us after our initial meeting. We felt very little was done to assist with our property search as they sold houses in the areas we were looking to buy without notifying us of their availability. I suppose Charters did the job that they were hired to do but we felt the service was quite impersonal.

The Winchester team have been excellent in handling the sale of our property; Mark D in particular has been brilliant in his communication and tenacity in achieving a sale, particularly during the difficult and ongoing coronavirus restrictions! I couldn't recommend Mark D, Branch Manager Oliver P and the whole team highly enough; a very professional service indeed!

Rebecca at Charters was fantastic throughout the whole process of buying our cottage. Even with areas of concern for us that were not in her department, she was always available at the end of the phone and dealt with all our needs quickly.. We've been in the cottage for a couple of months now and Rebecca is still helping us out with her invaluable local knowledge.

A very poor experience with Charters. Numerous problems with our property and a lack of any help was frustrating. Overall a good business, just needs to put processes in place to avoid issues we had.

Continued to market property and show buyers around that was ‘sold‘ subject to contract, where a reservation deposit had been paid. All within the vagaries of the English conveyancing system, but devoid of ethics or principles. Avoid at all costs.

It is the second time we have used Charters as our estate agent and once again they made the whole buying experience very easy.
