I’m writing this review to sincerely thank Lydia Allingham and the whole team at the Charters. Although we ultimately didn't proceed to completion with them (due to our own changing circumstances), the service we received was outstanding. From viewings to offer stage, every step was handled with transparency, patience, and genuine care. They never rushed us or made us feel uncomfortable. Instead, they listened to our needs and provided thoughtful guidance. Even though this particular sale didn't go through with them, I have no doubt they are one of the best in the business. Will definitely recommend to friends and family.

Where do I begin?! All the staff are wonderful and hardworking. I was on the market not even 2 weeks and my 1 bed flat was sold! I am very disappointed with the service I have received during the sale of my property. Throughout the process I have had to repeatedly ask for progress updates, but have mostly received generic responses stating that things are “awaiting review” rather than clear, proactive communication. There has been a lack of regular progress reports, limited chasing of outstanding matters, and very little evidence of active involvement in moving the sale forward. Overall, the communication has felt inconsistent and unhelpful at a time when clear updates and proactive management are really needed.

I recently dealt with the selling team at Charters, Chandlers Ford, and even though I didn’t end up purchasing a property through them, I genuinely feel they deserve a positive review. From start to finish, the experience was smooth, professional, and surprisingly enjoyable. A special mention has to go to Jorgia, who was consistently brilliant throughout. She was friendly, proactive, knowledgeable and made the whole process feel far less stressful. We have been searching for a property for a while now, and Charters have been great. They have been sending properties through that match our criteria before they even go on Rightmove. A property was sent to us by Kanika Masoun on 8th May, and we booked a viewing on 12th May. Kanika stepped in at the last minute due to illness to do the viewing for us, and we're so glad she did. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and very patient. No rushing around the property, but let us take our time. She answered all our questions, knew the sellers situation and did a follow up call congratulating us on having our offer accepted. Thank you Kanika and Charters.

I had a very disappointing experience with this estate agent, particularly with Rosie Price, the Property Relationship Manager. After my landlord agreed that I could leave the property before the end of the tenancy, the agency still attempted to charge me fees for check-in, check-out, deposit registration, and administration. My understanding was that some of these fees are not permitted to be charged to tenants under current legislation. When I raised this and explained my concerns, I was initially told not to worry about paying them. However, I was later still asked to pay administration and deposit registration fees. I requested that any agreed charges be deducted from my deposit, which was being held on behalf of the landlord, but this was refused. It was only after my landlord intervened and spoke with the agency that they finally agreed to take the amount from the deposit. In addition to this, I experienced poor communication throughout the process, with several emails being ignored and long delays in receiving responses. Overall, I found the handling of my tenancy termination and financial matters frustrating and unprofessional. I hope the agency improves its communication and ensures that tenants are treated fairly and consistently in the future.

I would highly recommend Charters Estate & Letting Agents in Farnham, and especially Kirstie Stone. Almost four years ago, my family and I came to the UK from Ukraine because of the war, and finding a rental home at that time was extremely difficult. With pets, it felt almost impossible, as many agencies and landlords were not willing to consider our situation. We mainly dealt with Kirstie, and she was incredibly kind, professional and understanding. She took the time to listen to our circumstances and helped us secure a home when we really needed stability and support. The worst letting agency I've ever dealt with. Pushed my move in date because they failed to clean the property in time, scheduled an inspection twice over the year I lived in my property and didn't turn up either time with no explanation. My tenancy ended on 10/03/26 and still haven't received my deposit back and it's 01/05/26. Avoid at all costs.
