I recently changed the tenancy on my rented house. I found that Charters attracted the right quality of potential tenant, and the checking out was efficient, despite the outgoing tenants having to defer their moving out at short notice. The only concern I had was that Charters were encouraging me to sign the new tenancy agreement before the existing tenants moved out, which could have left me liable to the incoming tenants if the sitting tenants cancelling their notice to quit or simply didn't move out on time.

From start to finish Charters Farnham were outstanding with the sale of my property. Their valuation was spot on n felt they had my best interests at heart as they are a group of genuine professional people. The whole team are fantastic and work well together. I had issues with solicitors communicating so I was grateful Charters had a super team to help me at anytime and be the middle person to help things go smoothly. It was hard picking an estate agent in Farnham as there’s so many good ones, but I can say without a doubt I made the right choice with Charters. Thank you all so much

I wasn’t really sure about the process of marketing and selling my property but Sarah was very encouraging and made it possible to sell my house within 4 days with the support of Ed and the team. Very delighted with the whole process.

We had a lad called Jack to show us around a house on a viewing. Very presentable and answered our questions clearly as well as taking the time show us stuff we may have missed. Well worth having him as your guide.

Over the last few months Jack has been very proactive, in helping with my search for a new home. I was kept up to date with houses coming onto the market which met my search criteria. We spoke weekly to catch up on how everything was moving along. If your house hunting in the Alton area, and prefer to deal with people rather than generic emails, Jack and his team are highly recommended.

I first met Sarah when she came to value my house. Sarah was extremely professional, engaging and thorough, taking detailed notes on my property spec to provide a property valuation. On instruction I dealt with Jack, Ed and Rich, who were always extremely professional and polite. They were all, a delight to deal with. I was given prompt feedback the next day which was always honest. As the Sale of my property continued, Sarah was always on hand to speak with me honestly and openly about what was happening within the market and how my property fitted within this, I valued this very much. I honestly cannot fault Sarah and her team for the work they put in to securing a buyer for us. Thank you *****

We phoned the Charters Alton to buy our second house. Spoke with Manager Richard, Sarah and other members of the staff; found to be extremely helpful. Met Richard in his office in Alton. He is kind, honest and very efficient person. On top of that he has extensive knowledge of property market. We went to view couple of beautiful houses from Charters, unfortunately they were above our budget. Richard is trying his best to find a suitable house within our budget. We would not hesitate to recommend Richard at Charters for buying or selling your property.

All the team at charters chandlers Ford have been amazing during the sale of both mine and my partners properties. Oliver was particularly helpful, friendly and patient during a number of viewings until our offer was accepted. Lisa in the progression team is also very informative and always keeps good communications with us. Overall we are very happy with their excellent service and will highly recommend!
