GoogleAbsolutely woeful
They cancelled our viewing within 40 minutes of it happening when they knew we was travelling far. But before they did that they tried to up the rent by 100 per month and engage me in a "bidding war" for a rented property!
Beware of these estate agents, and of all Estate agents for that matter.

We are sorry to learn that you are disappointed with the service you have received. We have tried unsuccessfully to contact you to discuss your feedback but, unfortunately, we have not been able to reach you.
By way of explanation, at the time of our last conversation, the landlord of the property in question had received an offer above the guide price, as a result of the viewings that had already taken place. Our client’s intention was to accept this offer and so, in the interest of transparency and fairness, our client instructed us to inform the remaining interested parties and to cancel the viewings, should they not be inclined to consider making a higher offer. We are obligated to carry out our client’s instructions and we wanted to avoid wasting anyone’s time.
As it transpires, the property is now re available and we would be happy to reschedule the viewing, should this be of interest. In the meantime, I hope we have managed to reassure you as to our best intentions but please do not hesitate to contact us if you would like to discuss this matter further.

GoogleThe experience I have had renting with this agency has been really disappointing. From being told by my property manager that we should put up with a camera on our front door as "CCTV is everywhere" and just generally our concerns being completely ignored. Renting your first flat should be a really exciting time, but I feel completely let down by Charters Winchester.

GoogleI want to thank Venessa at Charters Chandler's Ford, who helped turn things around for us in a short time, when she took over the file. We had put in our offer, which was accepted, however- it was not made clear to us fom the onset, ( by previous agent) that there were additional parties involved in the chain, which meant the purchase was not progressing as we expected. This was only discovered and disclosed to us when Venessa took on our file from the previous agent. She ensured she kept us updated and chased the other agents and solicitors weekly and was not cross on the many occassions we rang her. She reassured us she was reaching out to the other agents to push for progress as we were nearing the end of our mortgage offer period. Honestly I could not have asked for a better sales progressor. I must not forget to mention Tom, who on many occasions took us round to view the same house, while we were still considering our options. I will definitely recommend them for your sales or purchase transactions.

The proficiency and responsiveness they have demonstrated in the swift and satisfactory resolution to issues, has been unparalleled by any other agency I have experienced in 20 years of renting.
We have had the pleasure of dealing with Suzanne and Tracey and I cannot praise them highly enough. It’s incredibly reassuring to know that any maintenance issues we have will be left in their capable hands, the fact that they are both wonderful people is just the cherry on the cake.
