GoogleIf you find yourself in the unfortunate position where you have to buy via this agent tread very carefully. They have a habit of misrepresenting your offer when they approach the seller, so as to favour a buyer that has agreed to purchase through their in house advisors and solicitors. Then lie to your face and factor in situations such as your deposit amount and your current habitual circumstances to undersell your offer to sellers. They are unlawful, unethical and summise everything you expect from an estate agent. The staff are rude and unhelpful. If you are going to call their branch do so via the Right Move line not their direct line, these lines are recorded by right move, you may need the evidence one day. Just read into the fact that they have changed their name 3 times recently, says it all really! Ask any agent or realtor in the Southampton area, they are notorious for their crooked ways and get real incompetence.

GoogleVery disappointed! I and my boyfriend came new in the country, had to rent something ASAP because we were staying in the hotel, went to Carter Edwards. We saw a studio, said we take it and agreed to 6 months pay in advance because we didn't have history in the country, landlord was also fine with that. All good, paid them 500£ to keep the property until they give us the account to make the transfer (the agent told us she will give it to us the next day) because it takes several days for the transfer from another country to be complete. Went with that because we had plenty of time for the transfer to be complete until we had to check out. We were emailed a form, a standard one which we couldn't complete as we were not from here, sent it anyway with what we could do. Next day nothing, we texted the agent to give us the account but we were contacted by a third party for informations we said from the start we didn't have, that's why we agreed to the 6 months, regardless we tried to answer the questions for the process to go on, but then the days went, and we didn't have the account or some information to know if we have to stay in the hotel more, nothing! As a matter of urgency we rented a shared and stayed longer at the hotel, AND the very day we already told them we have to check out, another person from Carter Edwards contacts us to say that the studio is ours now, we can make the transfer. WHAT?! Excellent communication in your business, what to say. So we lost 500 to you, we had to go to another place and after my boyfriend had written you a review, you said that you will take some measures, but it was all bs, you just took the money, didn't say anything, canceled the rental and went on. Thank you for helping us lose a lot of time and money! I don't recommend!
