I am renting a flat through Aspect agency more than 6 years now. As a tenant I can say my experience with them was seamless. The measure of how good is a tenant - agency/ landlord relation is how fast are they reacting when you have a problem (maintenance issue). I can say they are fast and taking good care of their tenants: over the 6 years they've replaced few white goods in the kitchen and arranged for plumbing in the bathroom. All replacements/ repairings were good quality. Hannah is my main contact in the agency and I've arranged with her almost all the above over this 6 years+.

I called Carter Edwards to arrange a viewing of a property. I was advised that the gas and elec at the property had been switched off so viewings must be before 15.30. Not a problem I requested an app 1st thing in the morning. I was then advised they do not do appointments before 10 am as they have a team meeting every morning. (Really!!) So I requested an app at 10am. I received a call back later from a gentleman who advised further that the earliest viewings would be at 11am as he has to do paperwork...... So a 4.5 hour window in the middle of the working day was all they could accommodate. Thankfully the property was also up for sale with another agent. We viewed and purchased said property with this other agent. Lost sale Carter Edwards. I suggest you get out of bed earlier!

I would not recommend this Agency to non-UK citizens. They're just not ready to help people in hurry and from outside of UK. Also, keep in mind that once you sign up with them and make any holding deposit, this is not refundable, no matter if is their fault in completing the process. That's how me and my girlfriend lost 500 pounds. When we visited a studio, we agreed with Sarah that we should move quick because we're staying at hotel and we'll transfer the money from a Romanian bank account (in pounds, but in another country). We had to speak with 3 different persons and tell our story 3 times. They just seem not to talk with each other...

Our situation proved to be very drawn out and without going into details Louise picked up the pieces after we were let down by another estate agent. Impressed with Carter Edwards, and all their efforts on trying to sell our house and being determined to help find a property to purchase. Their photos and description of our property were great and much better than other agents I've seen. The service we've had from Lauren has been outstanding in trying to sell our property, managing to gather multiple offers in one day. She's always kept us informed and updated, and always provides clear and honest advise. Charles Carr put my mother's property for sale without her signing anything, then refused to remove it unless she paid a withdrawal fee!! As things stand the property is STILL on the websites despite several requests from us to take it off!!

Worst estate agents ever! After having three valuations last week, i must say some if the staff there are educated, My valuation manager knew exactly what he was talking about and quoted a fair price, but the lady on the phone was by far some of the rudest service i have received... she was blunt, rushed, very monotone and damn right rude... as soon as she realised i had already booked my valuation she dint care to speak with me. I went into the office and lady "greeted" me, and by this i mean looked up and looked back down, there was several other staff there all on the phone, i appreciate your busy but the one person free should be able to get up and welcome me. Still it took a more senior member of staff to get off the phone and give this lady a nudge to serve me, she was eating chocolate biscuits and covered in crumbs, had very badly applied fake nails which were broken and snapped and did not appear to be interested in anything i had to say. Im am not a snob by no means, but theres a level of customer service i would wish for. I decided not to market my houe with this company, as that is how they would treat the potential buyers of my house.

The Agents involved in my purchase from start to finish were absolutely exemplary. I've been shown round numerous properties by numerous agents in cheap suits chewing gum with too much make up and no real interest in their work. Charles Carr stood out from the crowd from the moment I rang them. No pushy sales pitch; friendly service over the telephone and accommodating to my meagre budget and time constraints. I met Emma at the property and she was just lovely; naturally enthusiastic without being 'in my face' and genuinely a really lovely person who just so happened to be showing me around a property that was above my meagre budget. Had this viewing and my telephone conversations not been so pleasant I would not have offered on the property I now own. Lucy, the agent in the office kept up communications superbly and we shared humour and our frustrations along the way. It was a really personable transaction from start to finish. Lovely lovely team; without you I would not be the owner of my little piece of heaven. Thank you.

Highly recommended after selling my house through Carter Edwards. Property sold quickly and got the price we wanted. Where they really set themselves apart from the rest though is the aftersales and the chain management. Being in a large chain there were a number of parties involved but Luci and the team were always keeping me updated and making sure everything was moving along. Had problems with our sellers estate agents and they were more than happy to sort out for me. Outstanding service from day one! Are there cheaper estate agents out there? Probably, yes. Are there better estate agents out there? Probably not!

I wouldn't normally write a review unless it was warranted, Mark Lawrence at Carter Edwards and the team at the Woolston office served us very well and deserve kudos. I met Mark at a viewing of a property and explained to him that we were not quite ready for the market and asked not to be hassled , he left us alone until we were ready and then handled things smoothly and professionally. He showed expertise in valuing our property , showing us comparable property's and where he thought we should be in the market place. This proved to be highly valuable as our previous valuation by a well known online agent was 20% less than Mark. Even before the details were done and the house went online Mark had 2 viewings for us and by the time the open day came we had 24 viewings booked, by generating so much interest Mark helped us achieve above the asking price. I would not hesitate to recommend Mark Lawrence and the team at Carter Edwards .
