Bourne were very professional and committed to selling the house and did not stop until it finally sold. For that i am very grateful. The only reason i cannot give 5 stars is once the house sold there were complications with the rest of the chain. They went very quiet at this point despite giving the Spiel at the start of the process they understand the stress of moving and are with you every step of the way. They left it up to the new house sellers EA to deal with all the chain problems.

We already reached an agreement on the deductions, but they simply ignore my emails and refuse to process the refund. This is completely unprofessional and unacceptable. If I don’t get a response soon, I will have to report this issue to Surrey Police for potential financial fraud. Tenants, beware!

GoogleI always found the process of buying my first house daunting, not knowing where to start. After contacting the Bourne sales team, I was able to get my foot through the door of a few properties resulting in me finding my dream home. From viewings to completion the transition was easy and flawless, couldn’t recommend Bourne more highly. GoogleSuperior service! Despite the volatile climate the market is presenting, Bourne has succeeded within THREE weeks to source a number of relevant clients to view my property. A fair price in line with their initial guidance has been agreed this week and I couldn't be more delighted! Adam and Jordan have worked extremely hard from the outset to market my property in a timely and professional fashion. GoogleI must express my extreme dissatisfaction with the support and management provided by Bourne. As tenants, we were transferred from a different agency, only to find Bourne woefully inadequate in meeting even the most basic needs. For instance, we have been waiting for over three months for a damaged wall, a delay exacerbated by a previous leak. It seems we must constantly chase them for actions they should be proactively managing. When confronted about their delays, they are nothing short of deceptive. This lack of transparency is appalling. Their professionalism is severely lacking. I would strongly advise against renting from Bourne, as they will undoubtedly make your life difficult.

GoogleWe rented a place from Bourne in December of 2023. All reference checks passed and rent paid on time every time with no issue all the way to the end of the contract. We would often be sent multiple emails about inspections and visits but again had no issue and they did not raise any issues also. At the end of the contract we were moving away. Again, multiple requests for viewings a few with less than 24 hours notice were sent our way. We did not cause trouble and allowed these. We left on the 14th of December 2024. To this day, they have been repeatedly ignoring our requests for the deposit to be returned (now over a month), when we were compliant. Instead, they were quick to carry out the exit inventory and class many surfaces as dirty and untidy, saying that deductions would be made. I sent them photos taken on the first day of check-in(also in the first inventory check) of the absolutely filthy appliances and surfaces that they left. A few photos attached and I even told Bourne I could show them the metadata so they can see when the photos were taken-they did not respond. They could not claim it from anyone else and now want to claim it from us, even though we had even left them in a better condition. I raised those points with Georgie and Jessica and also told them if they tried to help, I would not have to reach out here. It’s been a whole working week and no response at all, nor have they substantiated on any deductions. I would not go for them again. They expect you to jump through hoops for them and then choose not to carry out their own responsibility. If you want to go through this trouble to get your deposit back and have to clean after other tenants’ mess and then pay for it as well, go with them. Currently in the process of contacting the Deposits Agency for the dispute process.

GoogleRented a place through Bourne for a year and the house was given to us with cobwebs around, crumbs in the fridge, unwiped cabinets with some nasty non-slip silicon lining at the bottom, and a very mould-prone storage room (all stated in the check-in report). We never really complained about these things and then at the end when we moved out they raised all the existing issues with us and are still trying to deduct it all from our deposits. Additionally, we have repeatedly requested updates on the return of the deposits only to get ignored every time. It has already been over a month and we haven’t heard back from the landlord or the agents. I do not recommend at all. Stay away and save yourself the trouble.

GoogleI have recently just completed a sale on my late Grand mothers house. After having 3 valuations back in the summer, i decided to appoint Shane Bray at Bourne, i felt his evaluation of the property was fair (not the highest), his fee was fair ( not the cheapest) and most of all i felt i could trust him and his team. After a busy successful launch day on the property, the team found me a choice of buyers, and the sale went through with the teams constant progression early November. I could not have done this without Shane and his team, they were exceptional through a very difficult time. Bourne really are fantastic, thank you all.
