Sold our house through Kinetic, from the start Kinetic were very competitive on their charges, Mat came and did the valuation and took the photos. For some of the viewings other staff came and showed people around and their knowledge of the area was first class. For us the person who stood out was Jo. She was in constant contact with us and our buyers, she was sending weekly emails to our solicitors after updates on where they were in regards of searches and replies, she even sent emails/phoned our sellers estate agent asking them to chase things up. 5* We couldn’t be happier with the service received by Kinetic. From our initial valuation from Matt, through to completion the whole team have been brilliant. Louis looked after our sale and kept us up to date with the interest our house was getting, progress with bookings, and potential buyers. In 6 weeks we had sold our home and was looking for our next home. Whilst we were viewing houses Jo kept in contact regularly to understand our position better so she could update our buyers, I think this is so important, I had full confidence that Jo was on top of everything, was listening to us and therefore able to set realistic timeframes for our buyers so they wasn’t forgotten about and left in the lurch, this must have made their buying experience much nicer. If only we had this with our purchase but unfortunately that was through a different estate agents. I must say the whole experience of buying and/or selling a house can be stressful but Jo and the team make life so much easier. We are truly grateful for the level of service Kinetic offer through their high standards

arrogant, rude and not serious

Prior to the viewing they asked inappropriately detailed questions about finances as if you're trying to buy Buckingham Palace. On arrival the owner wasn't in and was never informed of the viewing. Balgores response: Ah well, bad luck. We don't even bother look at their property listings anymore, to us they're obvious scammers.

I would strongly advise avoiding Balgores Basildon. Our experience renting a flat through them over the past year has been awful from start to finish. From the day we collected the keys, we encountered multiple issues that were never properly addressed. The property was handed over in poor condition, including a fire alarm that was not fitted and left on the floor, which we reported immediately. Despite raising the issue numerous times over 11 months, it was never resolved, even though it breached basic fire safety regulations. We also had damaged furniture that had to be thrown away due to the poor condition of the flat when it was let to us. The front door didn’t close properly for almost a year, it was only around a week before we gave notice to leave that they finally contacted us about replacing it. However, it was never actually replaced, as we moved out shortly after. We also found Joanne to be extremely unprofessional and rude. She regularly cut us off during phone calls, refused to listen properly, and made communication unnecessarily stressful and frustrating. The situation became even more concerning when, after my fiancé left an honest Google review, we received a call from Michael, who asked us to remove it because it “affected his job.” When we declined, he offered a £50, £100 Amazon voucher in exchange for taking it down. He also asked us to delay posting another review while they “looked into resolving the issue.” We agreed, but no one ever followed up, even after more than a week. This experience has shown us the complete lack of care, professionalism, and compliance within this branch. Please make sure to do your research and know your tenant rights before dealing with them.

Genuinely the worst estate agent I have dealt with in my 5-6 years of private renting The property manager Jo is genuinely pointless to speak to and very unprofessional she constantly interrupts you when talking over the phone and ignores the law when it comes to the property’s she manages. I cannot understand why a company would operate in the manner that this company has since we have been with them. Very little issue with the property, some of which include not having a fitted fire alarm, was an argument to get sorted and in most cases wasn’t sorted. Jo told us that the person who first dealt with us was no longer in the company but that was then later found out to be a lie and when confronted about that she lied again by saying she never said that even tho we have an email from her stating that. If you are looking to private rent please avoid this company at all costs unless you enjoy endless headaches and constant lies. We will be putting through a complaint with their business due to the unprofessional and frankly unpleasant experience we have had. If you do go with this estate agent only email them never call them as you will more than likely have to take them to court and will need all the evidence you can get to stop them lying to cover themselves.

Outstanding service from start to finish (nearly)! I first used Balgores (Basildon) back in 2018 when purchasing my property, and they were absolutely fantastic. So, when it came time to sell recently, there was no hesitation, I went straight back to them. Within just a week of listing, my house was sold! Unfortunately, my initial buyer had to pull out due to issues in their own chain (completely out of Balgores’ control), but Joe and his team were incredible. They immediately arranged new viewings, and within six days of going back on the market, I had four or five offers, and accepted one! Over the past few months, I’ve had the absolute pleasure of working with Georgia Yexley, my sales progressor. She has been nothing short of amazing, professional, patient, and relentless in pushing the sale forward. It’s been a long and sometimes stressful process (again, no fault of Balgores), but Georgia has been there every step of the way, offering advice, reassurance, and a lot of hard work behind the scenes. Even when I’ve been frustrated, she’s handled everything with kindness and understanding.
