The Staff at Moginie James Pontcanna office are excellent. Nothing is ever too much trouble and they are so welcoming everytime you call by the office with any queries or concerns. Lovely to liaise with Welsh speaking staff too - Liz went beyond the call of duty and made the process as easy as possible. Excellent service and Great Communication

There were a number of issues with my property, some of which were complex and required structural repairs in order to put right. Nathan Dodd made a potentially stressful situation much better through his diligence, excellent service and great communication. Fantastic service from start to finish

From start to finish the people at Moginie James were very helpful in helping me find a 3 month let in Cardiff. I visited them at their Cardiff Bay office and Becca and Natalie were incredibly helpful and gave some great advice. In fact they even suggested I look at serviced apartments on a very short term basis to save me money, even though that would have probably lost them business. Rhys from the Pontcanna office then called me a couple of days later to tell me of a property in the city centre which was available for a 3 month let. Since I was commuting from London I was very keen to see the property the same day. Although his schedule didn't allow it, he booked me in for a 15 minute viewing the same day with Becky. This short appointment didn't stop her from sparing us loads of time to show us 3 different options in the building and answering all our questions. I was next in Cardiff two days later and decided to go ahead with oneach of the flats. Sarah in the Pontcanna office handled my business from this point on and was incredibly helpful the whole way. There were a couple of complications that came up but her approach was always to try and find a solution and get the deal done, which was exactly what was needed, since the move in date was only a couple of days ahead. Overall, from my initial meeting at the Bay office where I was just having a feeler of my options to getting me moved in to a new flat in a week's time, the staff at Moginie James understood my needs and helped get the job done. I have no qualms about recommending them wholeheartedly to anyone looking at property in the Cardiff area and they will be my first port of call should I need an Estate agent again in the near future.

Excellent Service Received From Sarah Jones

I have received excellent service from Sarah on 3 different occasions and I strong believe that she will always help clients. Since 2014, Sarah not only helped me to find houses but also spent extra time in showing Cardiff for the first time when I came from London. She helped me for my 2nd house as well going above and beyond in arranging keys when I had laser surgery for my eyes. She made good first impression, since then we always wanted to stay with Moginie James and she gave us confidence that Moginie James will help us when needed. Professional service from all departments with excellent communication at all stages

On the sales team - good communication and always came back after any queries raised. Some minor details on the draft particulars needed to be amended a couple of times. Particularly appreciated was the service provided by one person (Liz Allen) in Welsh - it's our family language and it was really helpful..Obviously being able to secure a client so quickly and deal with this client so effectively (by Liz and Clare) was fantastic. On the progression team - some contact with other members, but primary link was with Jayne Bennett who was extremely effective and dealt with all my queries and really held our hand throughout. Only one comment - the asking price suggested originally (though impossible to know 100%) was in our view too high. But all round a really excellent experience - diolch yn fawr iawn.

I had several agents visit me at my apartment to carry out appraisals – as soon as I met Craig, I knew Moginie James were the right agent for me and my property. We discussed a marketing strategy and the best price to market. They quickly arranged photography for the sales particulars which were of the best quality I’ve seen. After a couple of viewings my apartment soon sold. Claire was outstanding – she always called me with constructive feedback, and once an offer was made she guided me through to acceptance and then handed me over to the sales progression team based in their head office. Here I dealt with Jayne who kept me up to speed with the legal updates. Communication was first class – she made things go so smoothly. Claire, Craig and Jayne really went above and beyond my expectations. I would not hesitate using Moginie James again and can’t thank them enough.

Renting in Cardiff bay

I have yet to move into the property that I am renting but I have found Adrian very helpful and Moginie james in general to be very friendly. Adrian was there promptly to show me around the property and had all the information I required to hand. He contact the landlords and swiftly dealt with letting the property to myself. Overall I found Adrian to be very friendly and helpful and would recommend renting a property from him.

I called the cyncoed office about viewing some property and spoke to Ceri Jardine, whom after I spoke just hung up on me. I called again and she did not answer me. It went straight to answer phone. I do not think this is appropriate behaviour for an interested customer/client. I do think Ceri Jardine should be reminded that it is clients like me that pay her wage. Her behaviour is disgraceful.

Friendly & helpful staff who aren't pushy

I would certainly recommend using Moginie James, Rhys and Sarah in the Pontcanna office were a great help, I saw a few properties with them and wth others, but Rhys was always friendly and not pushy which I respected so when i found the right flat i was happy to sign with them. They've ben really efficient and quick with paperwork, and plenty of follow ups to make sure everything is ok which is good.

We first contacted them with the intention to let our flat, but when that fell through they were absolutely fine about it and kept us on their books anyway. A year later we wanted to sell and went back to them.
