GoogleI had an awful experience with Moginie James as a tenant. They wanted to claim for my full deposit, I stood my ground and refused the offers as I felt the agent was being unreasonable. I went through the DPS scheme and received my full deposit back. The service I received from Moginie James was subpar, noting getting wrong emails not intended for myself, they also admitted to delaying the process through the DPS in hopes I would change my mind. Emails received from Moginie James were littered with mistakes and they failed to provide any receipts or proof for their deposit deductions. I would caution anyone thinking of going to Moginie James, as in my opinion the service they provided was highly unprofessional.

GoogleThis is my first experience with Moginie James, and I am thoroughly impressed. I had been looking to move for a while, with no luck, so decided to go into the Pontcanna branch. I was greeted by Seirian who was able to show me a property about to come on to the market and book a viewing with Jane. Luckily, we were successful with our application and now have a beautiful new house!
The whole process from start to finish has been stress free and relaxed. Seirian and Jane are extremely helpful, prompt with their responses to emails, accommodating, friendly and professional.

We recently sold our house, and the sale fell through on the day of exchange. We had already put down a deposit for a rental property with another agent, and therefore had lost that money. When we sold our house again within a couple of months,, we were advised to wait until after exchange to find another property. That made everything rather urgent, since we had to find somewhere and pass all the referencing process in less than two weeks. And we managed to do it!
Adrian has been helpful and polite throughout the process. He and his colleague Holly managed to get us in to view a property that was not yet on the market, so that we could be ready with a completed process by the time we need to be out of our current home. Adrian was extremely friendly and very prepared, it was our first day of house hunting and were viewing our booked in apartment at the time, Adrian had brought another set of keys for another property in the building that was coming up for rent adn offered to show us around that property as well. This was very thoughtful of Adrian to offer another viewing that we hadn't even booked or knwon about, and ultimately led to us applying to rent the property.

We had a terrible experience with this agency, as tenants. They are very unprofessional!!
The agency never took care of our requests, concerning a damaged gutter (a waterfall on our doorstep), broken lights in the bathroom (we had a dark bathroom for months) and scaffoldings, which remained in place for more than 2 months after the end of planned roof replacing. We sent the agency about 20 emails, but the staff replied only a few times with short/meaningless responses. The agency probably never informed the landlord about the issues we experienced.

After having our offer accepted, there was a seamless handover to Jayne in the Sales Progression team, who remained responsive to queries and did a great job keeping us informed of the position with the vendor and agent, ensuring the purchased completed in line with the agreed timescales.

I recently bought my first flat with the team and they couldn't have been more helpful. Clare showed us around a flat i had booked to view, which was nice, however I wasn't mad about it. Clare had all the information on the flat to hand and we had a good viewing. At the end Clare did mention there was another flat for sale in the next block and would i like to see it, which I did. I instantly thought this is the flat for me. Clare was so helpful with the initial set up of putting an offer in. This is when Jayne took over. She was always in contact throughout the week keeping me informed of what was happening, what I could do to speed things up, and answering any questions I had. The whole process went smoothly and the final day of collecting the keys Clare couldn't have been happier for me in the branch and I felt that.
