Chris, Liz and the team at the Pontcanna office are consummate professionals who made the house buying process easy and fun! As our go-to person in the office, Liz responded to our email and phone enquiries quickly and comprehensively, and was always happy to stop for a chat and coffee whenever we popped into the office to check-up on things. Chris, who facilitated a number of visits to our new home, was always friendly, helpful and generous with his time. Helpful and Friendly Service

Claire was knowledgeable and helpful on first and subsequent visits to the property we purchased on Clive Road in Canton, where she was always on time for appointments and willing to spend as much time as was required there. After having our offer accepted, there was a seamless handover to Jayne in the Sales Progression team, who remained responsive to queries and did a great job keeping us informed of the position with the vendor and agent, ensuring the purchased completed in line with the agreed timescales. Overall, we found Moginie James professional, approachable and easy to deal with throughout the process and would recommend them to friends, family or colleagues looking to buy or sell in the area.

Excellent service from topnotch agents

We could not be more thankful that Moginie James handled the property that we bought, which happened to be our first house. Claire in particular walked us through the entire process- from viewing to turnover- in a way that is helpful and informative but without being overbearing. Of particular value to us as first-time buyers was her knowledge of the market and informed suggestions regarding potential interior improvements. Jayne of the Progression Team also provided very good service, always updating and following up on us promptly and ensuring that everything was on track. There's not one moment when we felt the need to chase them up to get an idea of how we are progressing with the purchase. We will always be grateful for this almost hassle-free experience.

First time buying made easy

I recently bought my first flat with the team and they couldn't have been more helpful. Clare showed us around a flat i had booked to view, which was nice, however I wasn't mad about it. Clare had all the information on the flat to hand and we had a good viewing. At the end Clare did mention there was another flat for sale in the next block and would i like to see it, which I did. I instantly thought this is the flat for me. Clare was so helpful with the initial set up of putting an offer in. This is when Jayne took over. She was always in contact throughout the week keeping me informed of what was happening, what I could do to speed things up, and answering any questions I had. The whole process went smoothly and the final day of collecting the keys Clare couldn't have been happier for me in the branch and I felt that. Thank you to Clare, Jayne and the whole team for their help, I am now a homeowner and a happy one at that!

I found the staff at Moginie James, right from first contact, to viewing, to offers, sales progression, completion, advice on Mortgage advisors, solicitors and through to exchange absolutely impecible! Welsh buying process

It has been a pleasure to go through the process in welsh. I feel it should be made more readily available across Cardiff. Everybody in the branch has been very helpful right from the beginning. After-sales support was vital...

Having bought my property in Pontcanna back in July 2015, through Moginie James, their in and after-sales support was invaluable. Having a dedicated point of contact/ representative to liaise between solicitors during the conveyancing process, was also essential. Multiple access to the house being purchased, during the sales process, was also forthcoming, and arranged with ease. They also provide a welsh language service/ point of contact, which was a breath of fresh air really, especially for Pontcanna.
