I have viewed multiple flats and houses over the years and Alfie was the first estate agent to come armed with information that was extremely useful and informative both about the property and the location. So far, other estate agents haven’t always known vital information such as, how old and where the boiler is, is the loft boarded, whether certain changes can be made etc. all questions that as a purchaser you want to know. It was obvious that he had taken the time to research the property, get all of the background information in advance from the freeholder, and was able to answer all of my questions on the day. Alfie was professional, friendly, well prepared and helpful throughout. It has been extremely refreshing to have an estate agent who is clearly very good at his job. Thank you!

Although I was purchasing the property, so therefore Wood & Pilcher were acting for the vendors and in their interests, I found all staff went out of their way to be helpful, and the communication was excellent. From arranging an early viewing to suit me, as I was moving into the area, to chasing the other agents and solicitors in the chain to keep things moving and holding them together, their handling was exemplary. This is my ninth move. It was far and away the most stressful, but I would say that Wood and Pilcher are the best agents I have ever dealt with, both as a seller and a buyer. Without Lynn's help, this would have fallen apart. Thank you

I can't rate Wood and Pilcher (Heathfield branch) highly enough. Melissa is exceptional. Melissa communicated with us every step of the way. She knew what was happening at all points of the chain and could answer all our questions. We bought through Wood and Pilcher, not sold, and out shone our own estate agent in everyway. From our first meeting with them, they have been nothing short of excellent. Firstly their valuation was very realistic and totally achievable. They ensured that all of their agents came to view our property, so that they could then describe it with enthusiasm to potential buyers. All of the viewings were accompanied by them, which we, personally prefer. The marketing material was very professional and really showed off the house and garden's best bits. Once we had accepted an offer, the post offer team were brilliant. Melissa, was our main point of contact and she liaised with the whole team keeping us regularly up to date with what stage we were at. All in all I really couldn't recommend Wood and Pilcher enough and would recommend them to anyone who is thinking about selling.

Amanda and her team in the Southborough branch went above and beyond expectations to support us through the process of selling two homes to move forward into one. They are highly professional, responding quickly to any enquiries and have hugely helped to reduce the stress associated with a house move, especially with 4 teenagers in tow. Wood & Pilcher are absolutely the best estate agents out there. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to buy or sell. We bought our house with them a few years ago, and have then sold it with them this time. We are moving out of area otherwise we would've bought with them again! They make you feel so special when you ring, always rush to help, always have updates and make the process much easier. We had a very difficult sale of our house for various reasons, but Wood & Pilchers pro-activeness in sorting out/chasing the issues meant that we did indeed see the house sold. They are fair, pragmatic, pro-active and friendly, all the things you need in an estate agents! Now I just need them to open a branch in Devon before we move again!
