GoogleHello , I own an apartment at Vantage Quay in Manchester. I can honestly say that Urbanbubble and the team there have done nothing short of amazing job in managing to secure the funding that they did obtain. I could see that the only reason we were successful was due to their extremely prompt action in being quick off the mark in their submissions. I for one am very grateful to the team their and their efforts. Un fortunately many others still have this major problem hanging over their heads.

GoogleAbsolute garbage when it comes to residential building management, constant power cuts that take as long as 8 hours to resolve, only for another cut to occur within the same day several hours later.
EDIT: Since Google does not allow to respond to owner's reply directly, I'll just insert it here that you failed to mention that it took you over 11 hours to actually start fixing the problem, your out of hours service did nothing the entire time. Also, you're not actually keeping anyone updated -- the information about faulty isolator was not communicated to the residents of the building at the time of writing, I had to find out about it from your response. Also, you absolutely failed to address many of the residents' questions and concerns regarding these power outages, even though they've asked you about this repeatedly, through your own app. If this is your damage control then it is both embarrasing and insulting.

Hi Vasily. Thank you for taking the time to review urbanbubble. We cannot apologise enough for the issues you have been experiencing, due to power outages at your building. This has been an ongoing issue which we have been working hard to resolve. We understand how inconvenient this has been, as we have manually been running checks on each floor in order to find the issue. This morning we discovered the issue to be a faulty isolator on the 11th floor. We have been keeping residents updated via our app, and will continue to do so. Please rest assured we take these issues very seriously, and are constantly working on fixes. If you'd like to speak to the team directly, they can be reached on 0161 543 8500

GoogleSince buying our flat in 2017 we have been very satisfied with Urban Bubble in their management of the building, communications and in dealing with any issues that have cropped up. However it is the property team’s efforts in dealing with the fire safety issues discovered following the Grenfell fire that we have been most impressed by.
The property team have worked tirelessly on behalf of the leaseholders with professionalism and commitment to apply for and successfully secure funding from the government’s Building Safety Fund for the remediation works needed. It was such a relief to hear that the application had been successful and we are immensely grateful to Gemma and Kaleb in particular for all their hard work and dedication.PositiveProfessionalism

GoogleWe have owned an apartment in Clarence Mill for just over a year. So far we are deeply unimpressed by Urban Bubble. They are slow to answer emails, make promises over the telephone which are not kept. When they do react to emails it is as if they do read them properly. I have found myself repeating myself a lot, and still getting nowhere.
Here’s hoping for better.

Hi Angie. Thank you for leaving us a review. I was very disappointed to see you have not been impressed with urbanbubble and our service. I have spoken to your property manager in order to gain some more understanding of the issues you have faced, however I would appreciate if you could please email some details to info@urbanbubble.co.uk, in the hope that I can look into this, and hopefully improve your opinion of urbanbubble. Thank you

GoogleSteve was such help! I'd just moved into my flat and my estate agent were useless in telling us where the meters were. Steve got me the meters (and helped me know which was which!) which was amazing. It's a small thing but he was really friendly and I really appreciated it.

GoogleHad a fire alarm problem at Briarfield Court recently; constant beeping noises in the corridors. The next day Mark had a look and the fire alarms were updated, only then we realized there were even more beeping alarms in the loft! As well as sorting out this rather annoying problem Mark also sorted out a faulty light outside my front door on the same day. Fast, efficient service

GoogleI would like to thank Urban Bubble for the excellent service since they took over the Management Contract for City Point 2 in Manchester. They have excelled with a high quality and professional service.
In addition the Management of the very complex Fire Safety issues and their handling of the claim for funding from the Government Safety Fund has been exemplary.
Many thanks.

GoogleUrban Bubble worked tirelessly for the leaseholders of Advent 2 & 3 in Manchester, eventually securing funds from the Building Safety Fund for the remediation work needed on our block. They appointed a specific member of staff to work on the project on our behalf. They kept us up to date with regular zoom meetings. They explained in detail any extra costs that came our way. GoogleUB worked tirelessly on our cladding issues/funding application over the last couple of years and we recently got the positive result we all wanted.
We were clearly kept updated during the process and I had every confidence they were fighting our corner/exploring every option for us, on a matter of great importance/complexity.
Can't thank them enough for all their hard work and I look forward with working with them over the coming years, as they continue to manage our block.

GoogleI have lived in Advent 2 for about a year now and one thing which I have found to be absolutely exemplary is the service provided by Nick, who is the building service assistant. Nick goes above and beyond to try and help, even when it was not part of his role. Even if he has been unable to help, he will always point me in the right directions as to who I need to speak to. He is very polite, friendly and very professional.

Really approachable, friendly and professional. Nothing was a bother. GoogleOur flat building is kept relatively clean, though more thorough work to touch up old paint jobs would be good. I also haven't complained about this though so maybe I expect too much for them to do something nobody has mentioned.
Ste is always friendly and delivers meter readings fairly promtply.

GoogleAfter an extremely stressful few months trying to get an apartment in Manchester (many people seem to be wanting to move) and struggling to get to them in time, we were left with just a few days before our current tenancy ended.
Lewis dealt with our situation and was able to get us through the process within the week we enquired, and we moved in just in time!
Lewis was lovely, professional and always chased the referencing company and us to ensure everything got done as quick as possible. After such an uncertain period I couldn’t recommend enough, especially in comparison to other letting agencies we’ve dealt with.
We were comfortable and reassured and we couldn’t be happier with our experience.
Everything was seamless from start to finish and exceeded expectations from property operators previously dealt with.
Thank you Lewis!PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism

GoogleI live in a property managed by Urban Bubble and their service is abysmal. I have never come across such an incompetent and negligible company before.
The building is an absolute state, the gate and lifts break all the time, doors won't lock properly, there have been bikes and parcels stolen and people sleeping rough inside the building. There is water leaking all over the carpark from the ceiling.
The garage door to the building broke and the building was left wide open for 6 MONTHS before a new one was installed. The new gate breaks several times per week, it is either stuck wide open so that anyone can enter or stuck shut so people cannot get their cars in or out. Urban Bubble refuses to cover the costs of residents paying for parking elsewhere or to get taxis to work etc. When contacted about the issue they provide lots of colourful excuses for the breakages, with a different reason every time. Sometimes they give multiple difficult reasons for the same instance, they can't even keep up with their own lies!
My boyfriend tried to contact them for CCTV after his bike was stolen from the supposedly secure bike store and they just fobbed him off. So there is no security, no CCTV, and even after being made aware of the thefts from the bike store they have not changed the code on the door.
Please avoid this company at all costs, it is not worth renting with them no matter how nice the flat is! I count myself lucky I am only renting so can easily move out, if I owned a flat in a property managed by them I would be devastated.

GoogleDon't rent with them, no matter how nice the flat is!
I recently moved in to a flat managed by them in a building managed by them and there have been never ending problems and getting hold of anyone to help is impossible/useless.
In the 3 months I have been here we had to deal with:
A broken bed for more than two months which as left broken by the previous tenants.
A toilet that broke and took over 5 days to bring anyone to fix it.
Elevators that break constantly.
And finally 7 power outages due to building failures in the span of 30 days. Some lasting over 20hrs.
The flat is nice but getting UrbanBubble to fix things is a nightmare and is not worth it.

Hi Carlos. Thank you for leaving a review. It was really disappointing to read of your dissatisfaction. We pride ourselves in our buildings, so it was a shock to read of the issues you've experienced. We do, of course, empathise and understand how these things are a great inconvenience. Whilst all of the issues you mentioned have been rectified, we would like to apologise for the length of time it took for this to happen. We would like to assure you that the length of time taken was an anomaly, and not a regular occurrence. The power outages were caused by a faulty isolator on the 11th floor, which took some time to locate, as we manually had to check each floor. I would urge you to call the team directly on 0161 543 8500 if you have any further issues, or which to discuss anything. Thank you

GoogleExcellent, tireless work from this company since they've taken over management of the Advent House blocks in Manchester. I'm not sure if it will stay their finest hour, but it will be pretty difficult to surpass the full funding grant they have recently achieved from the Government to cover cladding removal and all associated works within the development. In fact, having recently found out they will also let and manage my flat I'll soon be saying farewell to my current agents. Keep up the good work!
Many thanks ! Chris. (Owner and Landlord)

GoogleThe issues I have encountered living in Local Crescent which is managed by Urbanbubble are something of an endless nightmare. It is my duty to warn others so that they do not make the mistake of moving into a property with this management.
First of all, the area is HIGH in crime. I had my phone snatched out of my hand in broad daylight outside the building and this is a common occurrence. Both police and UrbanBubble have done nothing substantial to safeguard residents from crime, the front door frequently breaks meaning anyone can walk in. There was even someone found to be living in an empty apartment and only caught when stealing bikes - bike theft also happens regularly. When I moved out, my request to park my moving van in the car park for safety was denied. Subsequently, due to having to park on the street outside (and receiving a ticket), the moving van was broken into, ransacked and £3000 worth of my belongings stolen. Many residents have also had their windows smashed and cars broken into. You may be thinking “well surely you could just buy a parking space?” dream on. It’s a 2 year wait list meaning the street outside is crammed with cars, making it impossible to walk down and people requiring emergency access get blocked in. There hasn’t been a single week that my partner has not been given a ticket so expect to receive a lot of these if you or your guests use a car.
A month in my washing machine broke while I had covid, it locked my £200 bedding inside water damaging it - I informed the building I was in desperate need of the machine. Despite multiple follow ups they took over a month to source a repair, whereas I managed to source one myself in a day - they have still not reimbursed me the £70 I had to pay for this and are refusing to, even though it states that repairs are their responsibility in the contract. This is not surprising considering multiple lifts have been left broken for months on end, meaning one lift being over worked results in it breaking and rendering both lifts out of order. Bad luck for anyone on the higher floors or those with reduced mobility.
On the plus side, if you do want to know about something they are able to source quickly, it’s any type of cleaning or labour that will mean they can take an extortionate amount from your deposit! My landlord decided to take full advantage of the cost of living increasing and tried to raise my rent for a one bed by £150 a month. Despite many amenities being unusable and new building work of a 20 story tower across the road creating noise pollution and view blockage, rent increases of £350+ are a regular occurrence for residents. After an inspection, the landlord decided my apartment was in such immaculate condition that they would be willing to give me no increase at all, this took months of me fighting and quite frankly I’d had enough. They only told me a week before my contract was due to end so I had already been forced to make other arrangements - when I told them I would be moving out they then tried to manipulate me into staying by making me believe that I had to give a months notice. After paying for legal advice, I found out this was false and I would be able to move out with no repercussions. A week after inspection when I moved out, they tried to take £171 from my deposit for the painting of one small wall mark that is classified as wear & tear. It took over a month of persistent emails, threatening legal action, and getting TDS involved for them to return the undisputed part of my deposit (which legally should have been returned in 10 days) - it could take 3 months for me to get the £171 back. Holding onto deposits for extended periods of time is a blatantly obvious scam, especially due to the landlord stating they were “extremely pleased” with the inspection a week before.
This company have repeatedly shown they do not care for their residents wellbeing or safety, only for lining their own pockets - I would implore anyone to avoid at all costs.

GoogleGood service if they ever respond to emails or calls. My tenant they found me seems to be always late for rent and I am never informed unless I chase why there hasn't been money put into my account this month. Hi Mr Collins.
Thank-you for your feedback, all feedback helps us grow. We are glad to read we do provide a good service, although, we are gutted that overall you are not happy with the speed of our communications.
Our colleague, Kyia, will give you a call to discuss your tenant and their late payments, please be assured that we regularly chase late payments and work hard to protect the homes our clients rent out. Kyia does believe we have been in touch regularly about this and has given advice on how to move forward.
We apologise for not being quickly available over the past week. Our office was closed over Christmas and New Year, so we are just clearing a back-log of e-mails now. Have a great week - urbanbubble
