We had a fast turn around between offer and moving date which required the purchase of some new furniture and a gas safety certificate. Chantelle arranged for us to meet the tenants at very short notice (we made the request Saturday morning and met them that evening). She gave us a great recommendation on British Heart Foundation for some unwanted furniture and was helpful at every point.
New beds and the gas safety certificate were in pace by Monday with a moving in date of Tuesday. At every point I felt Chantelle was reliable and in control, on top of detail and looking out for BOTH the tenants and ourselves as landlords. This is our second experience using Thorgills to find tenants and our first experience working with Chantelle. I would definitely recommend both the agency in marketing and identifying tenants and Chantelle in helping us manage every aspect of the process once provisional tenants had been identified.

From the very outset Chantelle and indeed the whole Thorgills team have been excellent! Great service - nothing has been too much trouble! I highly recommend them.
I have one observation that will help reduce the whole team's workload. i would emphasise that this is not a criticism. There has been a lot of duplication of requests, emails and work, which I think could be avoided with some means of cross-referencing or centralising client communication. This would certainly save everyone a lot of time and reduce the potential for errors or confusion.

Andy at Thorgills was excellent! From the moment we had a viewing til the moment we had finalised our offer for our new property. Andy was contactable at all times. If he missed my call he would get back straight to me. He was also patient and took his time to show us a few properties which was also useful.
Haffeeza did our referencing and was also excellent! After using a different agent last year and it was nothing but stress I was dreading this stage! I was wrong! Haffeeza made it clear what we needed to do at each stage making it easy to finish our referencing within about 5 days. She also was contactable at all times and very professional.

Most of the letting agents I worked with, when I say I didn't really liked the property, instead of asking why they would say okay as if they didn't really want to help if they were not paid to do so. But with Andre it was completely different, he kept asking questions to understand what I really was looking for (which also made me realise what I'm really looking for). Every property he showed me was more suitable for me than the previous one.
