GoogleWhen we decided to sell our house, we arranged for several agencies to provide us with sales advice, including the estate agency that works on a flat fee pricing model rather than the conventional commission model.
We were immediately comfortable with the Banstead team (John Ralph and Tom Iddenden) due to their knowledge of the area, advice on marketing, and valuing the property. The quality of the property particulars they produced, with emphasis on photography, floorplans and informative text placed on several online property portals, was done in a timely manner and to a professional standard.
During the sale, we were routinely updated on the progress of the sale, and supported with sound advice throughout the process. The Banstead team made this usual stressful activity very convenient and efficient.

The personal agent put my flat on the rental market with an inflated rental price. The property sat on the market from December to February with one viewing and barely any contact from the agent, I had to ask for feedback. The day I appointed another agent they recommended a more realistic price and brought in 3 viewings on that day with offers. The personal agent then got another viewing with a person who didn't realise there was no garden which should have been made clear from the start. The personal agent failed to return my keys when asked then accused the other agent of losing them. They finally found them when I pushed and when I asked them to post them to me they put them in a paper envelope without taping them down so of course I received an envelope with no keys with a hole in it. I had to change the locks on my flat and when I asked the Personal agent what they were going to do to rectify the situation they ignored me. No apology, no offer to pay for the new lock or sorry for the time I wasted on this and the stress. This company are completely not proactive and in my opinion very, very unprofessional and I would not recommend using them at all.

Sue from Sales was fantastic in pushing our property onwards as well communicating frequently with us before and after viewings. She has real passion for selling properties and we felt confident having her on our side.
Once under offer, Sarah from sales progression was also brilliant and pushed our sale on as much as possible.
All our calls were answered promptly and voicemail returned within an hour or two.
