I’m very happy with Stonebridge and they really made buying a property smooth and less stressful. Lou was very responsive and professional, always happy to assist. Claire and Peter also offered great help. I am very pleased with the experience and definitely happy to recommend them to family and friends!PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

I was absolutely delighted with the way Peter, Claire, and Lou managed the sale of my house. The attention to detail, the excellent communication, and the courtesy and respect throughout the whole process impressed me so much, and it resulted in a speedy and satisfying sale. I can't recommend Stonebridge more highly - they are terrific!

We dealt with Stonebridge as prospective tenants of a flat, we were very happy with their support from initial viewing enquiry to signing. Sophie and Asher responded promptly, kindly and professionally. In comparison with other London estate agents they certainly stood out favourably.

I could not recommend Stonebridge more highly. I dealt primarily with Asher, who was very responsive, polite, easy to talk to and accommodating (literally and figuratively, as I am writing this from my fabulous new flat). Thanks to Asher and his colleague Sophie, a tenancy agreement was concluded and keys handed over last Friday, when the listing only went up four days earlier last Monday evening. Easily my best experience with estate agents in London!

We looked at a number of estate agents in Highgate and Stonebridge were exceptional. They provided a service that was above and beyond what you would normally anticipate - calling in contacts to help resolve issues with the property that we were selling (especially as we didn't live locally). Claire was our main contact and her experience, patience and innovative ideas meant that a very complex sale benefited from the very best marketing and achieved a realistic price and a quick sale.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

I'd buy a shed instead if i was you...

Just a list of the outstanding snagging and ongoing issues with the property only a year old which have yet to be actioned a year after reporting.Jones are quick to entice you in with excellent sales and aftercare but as soon as your in the property expect nothing but shoddy workmanship, an after care office that never respond and no care what-so-ever in attempting to put issues right.-Broken and cracked paving slabs to front of property (Total 3)-Following attendance from customer care engineer our front door handle has been repaired- but we were advised the door had been fitted completely wrong and did still not close or sit flush into the frame leading to a gap between frame and door letting in a constant draft to the property- door needs to be replaced In it’s entirety- Addition the thumb locking mechanism is now totally snapped leaving us locked in on occasion and unable to use the front door until we fix it again ourselves. This was attended to by a ''joiner'' who turned out to be a random worker who was on site from the ground works team who attempted to repair but only made the door worse, to a point now where it doesnt shut at all and the slightest gust of wind blows it wide open- Hugely ideal with a small child in the property.-Driveway as communicated on move in, due to wall constructed between ourselves and neighbours that we were not informed of on purchase means we are physically unable to fit two cars outside the property and unable to open either car to access rear child seat. We have measured neighbours properties with consent whos driveways have measured around 900mm-1m wider than our driveway, we are constantly parking one car on the road due to this.-Gap in brickwork of driveway that looks like it was laid by Stevie Wonder-Large gap in brickwork to rear separation wall between ourselves and neighbours around 2cm- gap is becoming wider. Appears these walls were never cemented-Full length crack of staircase top to bottom around 5mm-Cracked and chipping plaster and paint work across kitchen walls which has completely come away from the wall-When customer care engineer attended to re seal bathroom tiles he advised the entire of the bathroom had been tiled at an angle , causing the bath itself to also be fitted at a slant. This has caused the constant dropping of the bath away from the tiles and sealant leading to the leak through the bathroom ceiling. We were advised this would continue to happen if the bathroom was not correctly re tiled and the bath fitted correctly- Addition since attendance the bath has now slipped even further down and has caused a large gap between the sealant and the bath tiles, which led to an initial leak coming through the bathroom ceiling. -Bathroom tiles are uneven behind bath which was confirmed on initial attendance by Jones engineer to re seal bathroom, re grouting required to majority of bathroom as identified on move in -All kitchen kick boards and units are flaking and damaged -Windows to front and rear of house are extremely draughty and even when heating is turned on are leaving rooms freezing including our babys Nursery which we have now moved to the back bedroom as this is ever so slightly warmer -2-3mm gaps between skirting boards across property. -Roof tile incorrectly to porch incorrectly installed blew off , on site roofer attending to fix apologised admitted this wasn’t installed correctly. This led to my wife’s car being hit by the tile smashing her rear brake light, when reported to Jones Construction director advised she went through her own insurance!-Fence panel has completely dislodged from standing pillar meaning there is now a constant gap between ourselves and the neighbours-General shoddy work from bricklayers has huge chunks of cement just thrown all over the exterior of the property looks like a patchwork quilt to be honest.-All carpets in property have completely come away from grippers leaving tiny ramps all over the house-Front bedroom window doesnt even shut as it wont fit inside the frame, honestly it's like an igloo in here.

Avoid.

This company left a mound full of weeds for nearly 2 years behind a vulnerable persons garden. They have ruined the garden by doing this and refuse to put it right. Avoid this company at all costs.

Large number of snags and no urgency in dealing with them

Awful both in terms of number of snags and lack of urgency and attention in correcting them.I would not recommend them to anyone.

Extremely poor quality door mechanism's

Almost every internal door handle in our home has broken, the mechanisms used are very poor quality. These are supposed to be quality fire safe doors but my children getting locked in their rooms due to the locks renders them useless. The lock on my front door has now also broken, the hinges are very poor on the front door aswel and have had to be straightened multiple times. Almost every soft close unit in the kitchen has fallen off and the lights used in the main bathroom are whole units which we cannot find a replacement for so are now left with only one.Trying to get through to customer care doesn't seem very easy.We have been in for 3 years now and expect certains things to break occasionally but for all of the same issues to happen to all doors shows just how poor they really are.

Beautiful home

The house is beautiful and cannot fault it,however sticking a social housing right in the middle isn’t a great look when people are spending over 200 thousand and more for these properties. This is at Bolsover cavendish park nether view there are many faults the site manager seems to be more interested and prioritises in getting the snags done for the social housing. This is very disappointing as instead of ensuring the best and highest standards for the people who have already paid good money to purchase one of these properties which leaves them feeling very angry & disappointed and as if they don’t matter. if we had known this maybe we would have waited on getting on the property ladder.

If I could give zero stars I would

Appalling company. Appalling service. Refuse to allow any changes even with a freehold as they "reserve the right".This should be illegal as a freeholder should not require permission from anybody but themselves as the homeowner. Disgusting.

Absolutely worst experience we have…

Absolutely worst experience we have ever had. Visited Treeton site recently as intended in buying but after speaking to their Sales Advisor on site and checking reviews have now changed mind and will keep well away from them. The Advisor did not know her job, was unprofessional and very defensive towards our every question and very disengaged to us from start to finish...could Not wait to get out of their quick enough. She made us feel very uncomfortable like she didn't want us there. Their Sales Advisors should discriminate less to people of different backgrounds and treat people with dignity and respect no matter who they are. If I was her employer I would sack her on the spot. Disgusting!!!

Incredibly unprofessional. I organised a viewing over the phone on a Friday afternoon for the next day, only to turn up and discover the property in question (which is still showing as available on OnTheMarket) was actually sold, and no agent bothered to turn up. Complete waste of my time - avoid!

Agent replied · 26 August 2024

Dear Ollie, Thank you for your comments. To reiterate following our conversations, we were forced to close the office with half an hour’s notice on the Friday that you called us & following Saturday, due to unusually circumstances. Therefore, our sales team did not receive your viewing request. Our receptionist colleagues took a message from you in good faith, but no viewing was confirmed by a member of our sales team, as we discussed. These are challenging times faced by everyone and we have done our best to explain the misunderstanding to you. We wish you good luck with your future search. Kind regards, Stonebridge & Co
