GoogleAsher was the first estate agent we met who was relaxed. At no stage did we feel rushed or forced into anything - he actually had to tell us to slow down and encouraged giving us time to think about things. It was such a breath of fresh air and really helped in making the right decision. If you're looking for a new place, I could not recommend Stonebridge more.

GoogleWe needed an agent that understood the area of North London we were selling in; we were approached by a number of local agents that professed to be key to a sale, but were unimpressed by an air of arrogance and a commensurate fee level.
I knew Claire at Stonebridge from her time with one of the above agents, knowing she had left to form a new practice specialising in the area and not part of a large agency chain.
I found Claire and her Partner Peter to be knowledgable and professional in taking on our agency appointment and delivered on the desire for a sale that would reflect the investment we had made in redeveloping a large 1930s semi from 4 beds to a 2000sqft 5 bed with views of Ally Pally.
The sale negotiation was handled well and brought to a conclusion in a timely manner, at a price we were happy with.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

GoogleI thoroughly recommend Stonebridge. They managed the sale of my late father's property in Highgate efficiently and swiftly and negotiated a fair and most satisfactory purchase price. As an independent company specialising in the area, they have an excellent knowledge of the local market. Under difficult and sad circumstances, they went above and beyond to provide an exceptionally personal sensitive and responsive service which I really appreciated.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism

GoogleAsher has been letting my properties for many years and he has always been a great help, whether it be finding just the right group of tenants to fit my circumstances or simply advising on any questions I might have. Apart from being thoroughly pleasant to deal with, he is a great source of information and is in tune with the rental market. I am pleased to say that by following his excellent advice, I was able to increase my rental income significantly. Very happy to recommend. Many thanks Asher!PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism

GoogleStonebridge have been a massive help in what is and has been a very long and process. We fully appreciate Peter and Claire’s efforts, the attention to detail, the knowledge and advice they have been able to share, enduring the many changes we have made during the process, and the responsiveness to our emails and calls, and follow-ups. Having dealt with banks, insurance brokers, solicitors, etc., we have come to realize that very few people are able to perform to the level they have shown.
We would like to thank Stonebridge for everything, they have been fantastic. I have absolutely no reservations in reaching out if we are in the position to buy again and recommending them to friends in the future.

GoogleAmazing work from Peter, Clare and Matthew. The whole selling experience has been very different compared to the typical large corporate property agents. Stonebridge genuinely care about their clients. There is a personal feel that you don't get with the large corporates, where you are just a number. We sold our property in Highgate through Stonebridge and the whole experience has been fantastic. They clearly have a strong list of real clients because our property got under offer within weeks. This in in sharp contrast with our previous experience with large corporates, which just brought a lot of disrupting viewings with no results. Stonebridge team is so experienced, offer realistic valuations and honest advise. They are always very responsive, very proactive, and they managed the chain extremely well. We could not recommend them enough. Fabio & YasminaPositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

6 months after moving in there are still many issues with the house that have not been resolved.Outside tap has a steady leak, green algae has now grown on the wall around it. We identified this the week before completion... Asked regularly for the tap to be fixed and have been told next week for months and now being ignored by customer services.Lovely house but the service after they have your money is abysmal.

TrustpilotDO NOT BUY
DO NOT BUY! I have been on the Rivington Grange site for 7 months. My 7 day snag list still hasn’t been completed. Emails sent to customer care have been ignored. The whole site flooded due to poor site management ruining almost 30 houses on and off the estate. 4 site managers later- the site is half completed with no sense of it being finished. They are cowboys. Worst aftercare I’ve seen from developers.

TrustpilotTerrible customer service
Terrible customer service. Numerous issue's unresolved. My garden frequently ponds. ticket first raised 2 years ago. Still unresolved. Site manager is dishonest, one minute says they'll fix it, next minute says they won't. We've tried landscaping the garden after being told they wouldn't install drains, and by the way, they installed drains for my neighbors who had the exact same problem of water ponding for weeks. In the process of landscaping we dug out a patch of the lawn no more than 100mm down and dug up all sorts of crap. Large boulders, stones, rubbish. Obvious to me no top soil was ever used! Infact they used better topsoil in the culvert.

TrustpilotGarden used as a tip
My house was built on farmland so you would expect decent garden soil. Unfortunately Jones dumped tones of rubble from the building project in the garden and covered it with 1/2 inch of top soil before laying turf, so my grass simply won't grow. Whilst digging a bed I removed half bricks, rubble, plastic bags full of screws, huge pieces of metal and plastic. I even got a cut on my ankle from a massive nail which popped up when I was digging. I've seen birds carrying bits of plastic which I'm sure they've gotten from my soil and I worry that my cat could get injured. There's more non-biodegradable rubble than soil! I am at the stage now where most of the grass is completely dead despite constant treatments, watering and re-seeding over the last 3 years.

Put a deposit down for a house but was never fully informed about uncapped annual maintenance fees being charged on public land associated with the estate. When I asked about this we were given vague answers and told 'not to worry about it'. Decided to pull out when my lender expressed concern about this as well. They also required to see an AIP before even showing us around the estate which I feel was unnecessary and puts the buyer at a disadvantage. Wouldn't recommend.

“Thank you for your feedback Mr Davison. We are sorry you decided not to proceed with your purchase due to there being a charge levied to the development for the upkeep and maintenance of areas of open space throughout. This is common practice where the local authority do not wish to adopt such areas, and should not have come as a surprise to your lender if they regularly offer mortgages on new build properties. Unfortunately these charges cannot be fixed due to their nature, can go down as well as up as and when costs for the services provided within the fees fluctuate. Here at Jones Homes it is not common practice to request an AIP from somebody visiting our Sales and Marketing office for the first time as this can make potential buyers feel uncomfortable, as you say. Financial qualification is a necessity to safeguard any outlay you may initially make to secure your chosen plot, but on an initial fact finding/enquiry, this is not a requirement. We hope you have been able to find a home that suits your needs.Jones Homes Lancashire”

TrustpilotGreat sales and after sales service
From our initial reservation, to moving in, the sales team have been excellent. They kept us informed through the whole process which took a lot of the stress out of the move. There were a few snags but these were dealt with quickly and efficiently by the site manager. The constructors even took some of our boxes etc away to save us going to the tip. Absolutely love our home.

TrustpilotWe've lost count of how many snags…
We've lost count of how many snags we've had.our main issue is that the communal path has been put in the wrong place!-it is directly in front of our lounge window so everyone walking down the path can see straight into our lounge.jones can't even answer us as to why it's in a different place to what it is on the plan.im in the process of taking this to a solicitor because we've got zero privacy and people on bikes speed down the path and nearly bang into our window and cars on OUR OWN PRIVATE drive.jones don't see an issue with this!. our other main issue is our horrendous garden which is covered in stone's, uneven and soggy.one of the construction managers came out and blamed our 'lack of maintenance' and told us that we should get green thumb in to solve it!.our bay window roof also makes a really loud noise in the rain because the flat plastic roof is lacking adequate insulation to deaden the noise (Jones says that there is enough insulation already in it but we have spoken to other neighbours who've had exactly the same problem but Jones eventually did actually solve theirs by adding extra insulation!!.I could write a book on all the problems that we've had.the thing that annoys me the most is how they try to fob us off and make out that we are stupid.they also love to make out that we are 'the only' people that have experienced these issues!(when infact it's half of our neighbours too!).

TrustpilotDon't do it.
I bought a house with JH and moved in last April. There were many issues, from the house not being completed properly by the move-in date (e.g. not enough paving slabs as outlined on the plans and no proper silicone/lining on the bathtub leading to leaks and stains on the downstairs ceiling) to not even having my first snag list completed yet, after 13 months of being in the house. The company uses lockdown as a reason for not being able to get the basics done but they have been able to build a whole new estate up the road within the same timeframe. Myself and my neighbour don't have gas mprn and serial numbers and this was left to JH to sort as we cannot actually sort it ourselves through the energy companies, even though we have tried countless times, so we are a year in without having had this sorted yet. The road on the estate has not been tarmac'd yet and the surface at one point was actually dangerous. If I knew 18 months ago what I know now, I would not have bought a house with JH.
