Not the most welcoming Regus place I know but probably the most efficient and organised There are offices to rent for long terms to 1hour, and a longe in basement floor that is accessible when you are member. Easy way to work in town

Office space in London that is fantastically central but does seem to lack overview and coordination. Receiption is hit and miss and not that helpful. Office building is as you would expect I guess but the facilities could be cleaner and better maintained.

Miserable joke of a meeting space. Considering Regus are in the business of providing meeting spaces, this is an embarrassment. No staff available until 9am (very difficult to start your meeting at 9am if there's no-one to let you in or tell you what room you're in). WiFi use is incredibly complex - why not just let users sign up? In the EC area, no-one is leeching free WiFi when you're never more than 100m from McDonald's or Starbucks. Meeting room was unbearably hot and made brainstorming very difficult. No free refreshments provided so bring your own coffee. Water was a scarce resource too. Staff were asked repeatedly for help and none came. An utter waste of time.

We have a ‘satellite’ office based here and visit only occasionally. However, the times I have been, the staff have been friendly and helpful. There are good facilities with a large meeting space in the lower ground floor area. We’ve also used the meeting rooms and found them sufficient for our needs with good selection of sandwiches available.

Horribly run company
Horribly run company. Predatory liars. I would enjoy seeing them shutdown. It's rare to see that a company commits "out and out" fraud and then hires clueless customer support to Protract out the pain as you attempt to get them to stop taking your money or billing you for erroneous charges that are incorrect. There needs to be a class action lawsuit against these A holes

No Spaces for dogs!
Buyer beware when purchasing a lease for office space at Spaces! We were told Spaces was a dog friendly brand and that we could bring our dog into the Brighton office so long as it was kept in our office space. We were recently told this privilege was being revoked due to another tenant being allergic (even though our dog was always kept in our private office space as per what was agreed with the sales chap) When we asked if the other resident dogs on our floor would also be banned we were told no, just our dog. The idea that they would revoke us bringing in our dog wasn’t ever explained when we took the space (we have in writing that we wouldn’t sign a contract until they confirmed we could bring our dog in) and I can only imagine that as it’s just our dog, that we have been singled out as our dog is a staffy and are a stigmatised breed. It’s quire frankly disgraceful. We planned our office around our circumstances and Spaces seem to not care at all, so long as they get the sale! This isn’t the first issue we have had with this brand. They also promised communal meeting space for members that would be free limited to one hour a day. The first time I tried to book a room for a short meeting I was told that service was no longer provided and we had to pay for a meeting room. Another thing they promise and sell when they give you the tour, and then withdraw once you sign a lease. They have overcharged us for items too, take ages to generate credit notes and it’s just mega dis-organised. If you are a small business you have bigger things to worry about but Spaces seem to think it’s OK to cause constant issues. So if you are thinking of taking an office at Spaces, take everything they tell you on the tour of the office with a pinch of salt, maybe record the sales patter with a dictaphone as they will most certainly be changing the goal posts once you sign up! Very unscrupulous and not the ‘modern way of working’ that they claim!

Read the lease very carefully. Plan for the worst
If you're a new business please please think very carefully before becoming involved with this group. It walks a very thin line between service and scam for smaller businesses. A bit like a Spanish hotel with enticing communal spaces but then awful badly soundproofed rabbit hutch boxes for offices. Their inclusive phone system never worked, the app never worked. Accounts help desk non existent. Wrong names and (ironically) wrong addresses on invoices never corrected. No business could be this bad unless it's deliberate surely? It seemed to me its in there interest for clients to give up / leave and that perhaps explains the terrible customer service. We did get into difficulty paying 2 months rent but when we came to make the payment found out they had released our office. Yet insisted we were still liable for the full 2 year lease cost.... without an office! Weeks and weeks of uncertainty and emails at a time when you just want to get on with running a business.

Grotty levels of cleanliness & poorly managed
We have been renting an office in Spaces Brighton and after one year, we have decided to terminate our agreement and find an alternative provider. I would suggest avoiding Spaces. It looks very funky and cool, but there is zero attention to the basics and scratch the surface and it's just grotty. The management of the facilities isn't great. No day cleaners means that by midday the shared kitchen facilities and toilets are in a disgusting state. The loos are often worse than public loos (I avoid the loos if I can).We steer clear of inviting clients to visit our office on the basis that the state of the toilets is disgusting and an embarrassment. We offered feedback about this and were told action was being taken, but alas, the ongoing state of the loos, kitchens and stairwells speaks for itself. The lifts in Brighton have been in disarray for many months. They are often broke. The stairwells have rubber treads missing, which poses health and safety concerns. The carpets are always in need of a hoover and the walls need re-painting.There seem to be lots of hidden costs involved in Spaces too. A fixed IP comes at an extra cost, meaning it's impossible to plumb in even a basic WIFI printer. We purchased a VOIP phone at an additional cost, just to have as a back up in our office, and after 4 months, learnt that Spaces hadn't activated the line. They also do strange things like changing the functionality of the office key fobs and don't share the changes with their customers. All in all, very disappointing and I'd suggest heading somewhere else if you are in search of office space.

We have an office in their Oxford…
We have an office in their Oxford Circus location. It regularly takes weeks to fix something and then it has to be fixed again and again as it's not done right the first time. Just doesn't feel like a high quality finish. There was a pile of stinking rubbish that had been left over the weekend sitting in the hallway, it took 6 hours for them to move it, they had to wait for someone to come in and move it rather than owning the problem and just moving it which would have taken them ten minutes. I would recommend looking elsewhere.

Avoid at all costs.
I cannot express how awful customer service was with Spaces/Regus. I had 3 co-working memberships with them for 6 months each. My contracts in their online portal were all incorrect. They overcharged me for 3 months. They refused to accept their own confirmation email as proof that I had rightfully terminated my contracts 3 months in advance. Individuals in the business would not return my calls or voicemails. The Accounts Helpdesk was absolutely useless and would take days/weeks to reply to emails where I asked for my money (nearly £1000) to be returned to me. Finally after about 3 months they re-paid me my money, stating that was some technical mistake. This was after I threatened them with legal action and had called/text the onsite manager for almost 2 months. Honestly the worst company I have ever had the displeasure of working with. Never use them. Go sit in a cafe and at least enjoy the coffee rather than go through 3 months of headaches just to get back money which was taking unlawfully from you. Ridiculous.

A wolf in sheep's clothing
From the outside looking in, Spaceworks looks worlds away from the Regus offices I have occupied previously, but don't be fooled by the cool decor and break out areas, as Spaceworks deploy exactly the same tactics as Regus and really do not care about you, and just want to extort as much money from you as they can. Overcharged on the services from day 1, and when I questioned the payments and held back payment for the services in dispute, they proceeded over the course of several months to add late payment fees after late payment fees, for non payment of services not due. Only after several months of calls and emails, not to mention hours of my time we eventually reached an agreement. I wasn't happy about the above, but the location is convenient, and didnt really want to move office. So I let my contract automatically renewed at 9/10 months, for an additional 3.5%, which seemed fine, but when I received my first bill, services had increased by 49%. When I challenged them on this, they responded with."Yes - the IT charges are correct. It is a big jump compared to the rent increase but they work separately and so, have their own price volatility."When I told them this was not communicated to me, and requested a price list, I got the following response;"I am not able to provide for you the price list. The IT charges are fixed and we are not able to amend or be flexible on this. I do agree that the change should have been communicated to you before, but be that as it may, as of now, we are not able to amend them"As you can see the level of service received is laughable and their approach to overcharging is tantamount to extortion. Very short sighted on their behalf but they seem to get away with it time and time again.I must say the community / client facing team in the building are helpful on day to day basis, but they carry no authority, and are visibly frustrated with the accounts teams who operate a strict 'no common sense' rule and have a propensity to say no. Furthermore communication is slow - it takes minimum of a week to get a response to an email / calls, all the while adding to your frustration, and distracting you from your day job. I would strongly advise people not to use regus / spaceworks.

No Stars - It's just not worth it.
No stars - but it's not an option. The billing and admin side of Spaces is absolutely shocking. I cancelled my arrangement in the correct manner, yet they still then took an extra months payment. This took weeks of constant emails and calls to sort out. The communication was shocking and nobody seemed to be able correct the problem or return a call. The reception phone goes through to answer phone 75% of the time. They then took 7 weeks to return my substantial retainer and deducted £100 for basically cleaning the 5m squared room, even after all the trouble.Re : Oxford Street officeOn the surface this office space seems ok. After a while you notice it's a bit superficial and that it is just a lick of paint on an old office building. The cafe area is nice, but the cafe itself is a business and is just about adequate and no cheaper than going for something better elsewhere, if the lifts work. The shared kitchen area is not big enough for the size of the office and often resembles a student halls of residence by mid afternoon. In conclusion -I wish I had never gone with Spaces. The Spaces/Regis admin, customer service and accounts are an absolute joke. There are much better options out there. I thought it was never going to end...If you are a small start-up, their billing department could break you. Always pay on credit card and check your accounts regularly.
