We have noted that you have left a 1-star review which we are of course disappointed to see. We understand this may relate to a recent incident where an appointment was arranged however you were not aware as your contact information on our file had not been updated when you changed your number. As you are aware your landlord manages your property and although you may have updated your landlord with this information it was unfortunately not relayed to us. We did never-the-less apologise for the situation and have now updated our records with the information you have provided to ensure such situations do not occur again in future.

Work is fast. Speed is also required here, such as being asked to submit a report at the time of move-in within 48 hours. I'm thankful that so many things can be done web-based. Although the exact details were not shown when I moved out and the cost was higher than expected, I got a reasonable percentage of my deposit back.

Very professional agency! Will highly recommend. Good staff and helpful.

Excellent, professional service for me as a tenant - I think landlords like them too!
4/5
Good staff, very efficient and friendly. Some of their policies aren't though, like quarterly inspections and renewal fees.

As a current tenant from one of Sab’s properties, would highly recommend renting through them. Great agency

The service and professionalism I have been given by them is impressive. If you wish to move into Cambridge, please refer to them. Best Regards.

We have been tenants with SAB for several years and found them to be very helpful in terms of responding promptly to any issues with the property.
3/5
Sab was not very helpful in the process of starting to rent the house, and afterwards they did not let me know when someone was coming into my apartment even if I asked them to let me know. Apart from that they are ok.

SAB is brilliant! Very responsive to us. Whenever we email Kane or call in to the office, they are very helpful and responsive to our needs!Highly recommended!

SAB are the managing agents for our development. They consistently fail to deal with matters and increase their charges year on year. I wish I did not have to deal with them.

As a first time tenant, I have always found SAB to be professional, efficient and helpful. I would recommend using them and would rent through them again.
We are always happy to help and strive for high standards of service so this is great to hear. Thank you.

Very quick to respond to problems with the property and highly communicative in general. We had no serious issues while renting a property from them for 3 years in the Cambridge area.

Our company, Pure Alarms Ltd provide maintenance for a number of properties and estates under SAB. They are always a pleasure to work with, straight to the point and excellent communication. Would highly recommend.

Very competent team and reliable agency. During four years as tenants we haven´t encountered any problem with them and they usually reply to our queries efficiently and in timely fashion.

Rude mannerless and unfriendly male staff in the lettings department, who because of the high level of demands don’t respect and neglect their potential clients. Every time I’ve been in touch with them, it felt like they are doing me a favour to even speak to me (Apart from one friendly woman who once for my luck picked up the phone instead). No replies on emails whatsoever! Moreover, one of the men also hang up on me in the middle of my sentence when I was attempting to ask them about properties via a phone call. I was looking for a good high standard apartment, as a masters overseas student in Cambridge, willing to pay almost any price for a flat, half a year in advance. Firstly they didn’t want to show me flat properties and showed me student accommodations only, even though I explained the circumstances. Then after I left my details no one ever contacted me again, followed by all other series of events described above. Feels like it’s more paperwork that they can’t be bothered with, especially when there is a high demand on properties. Possibly, it’s just SAB’s values, that’s why I will never seek their services again and neither I will recommend it to anyone!
We are very concerned to receive such a poor review of our service. We take these matters seriously as our standards to all clients should be high at all times. If you don’t mind contacting us directly as we would like to look into the details of your experience so we can address this and ensure it does not happen again. Please contact Claire Baron - Claire@sab.co.uk

SAB has brilliant properties with understanding landlords and a brilliant team! As a first time tenent, they made the moving in and settling period easy! Any issues I’ve ever had have always had a quick response.
3/5
SAB in general has not been bad. Sometimes they do take long to answer the emails. And it is required to ask them again. I don’t feel they communicate all the information they’ve got through their tenants. For urgent queries, generally they are very responsive. For the rest, I believe SAB generally tries to help their landlords and tenants.

The worst agency exprerience ever. We applied for a property after they reassured as that the landlord is happy to give as the two weeks extension that we asked for, IF THAT WAS POSSIBLE (because we understand that if other applicants are willing to move earlier it is totally acceptable and understandable that they have more chances to be accepted) They even sent as the contracts with the date that we wanted after asking the landlord , according to their words. After all this wasted time, they told us that the property was already given to other applicants and they made a mistake. I can understand that mistakes can happen but how we handle them makes us good and bad professionals. Not even responding my emails or receiving an apology is at least unprofessional.

This agent is an absolute disgrace. I had several major issue with the flat I rented in London and was presented with a 750£ bill when I vacated the flat (In perfect condition, with all utilities paid for and so on). They also failed to return my deposit on time (more than 27 days late at the time of me writing this), and so on. I could keep on going.
Dear Noah, We are sorry to read you have been disappointed with our service. We have reviewed your file and it would appear that the issues you had with the property were with the heating and hot water and unfortunately the apartment is served by a communal boiler which is maintained by the Estate Management company. The only action we could therefore take was to report the issue and consistently chase for updates. As neither SAB or your landlord could action works to the communal boiler we instead offered temporary heaters during this time. We also understand that you were not happy with the facilities available to residents within the development. These facilities are run by an independent company whom always passed on your views and complaints to, and ensured you were always copied in on the correspondence we sent to ensure you remained aware we were trying to get these matters addressed. When vacating the apartment you asked whether we could arrange for an end of tenancy clean and you stated you were happy to proceed with any quote up to £150. We therefore arranged this on your behalf and the cost deducted from the deposit as requested. We did advise that as some utilities are invoiced by the management company we needed to hold some money on account to ensure that we had funds to cover the final invoice for your tenancy term. The amount suggested was based on previous charges. We chased the invoices weekly and when you emailed to advise you were no longer happy with us holding the funds we released this to you. We again apologise for the issues you experienced and have taken on board the negative experience involved with the third parties relied upon for this building.

I first rented through SAB, Longstanton in 2007 after moving down to Cambridgeshire. All contact was very professional and friendly and I had no reservations, whatsoever. After 7 years, I had to vacate the property to work abroad for a few yesrs. On my return, almost 4 years later, I contacted SAB, Longstanton to view some rental properties. I was amazed and happy to see that the people in the office were the same and remembered me. Indeed, Tracey that showed me round my first property, back in 2007 was able to do the same again in my new property, 10 years later. I have no reservations whatsoever in recommending SAB, Longstanton.... fantastic service... Five star.
We are always happy to help and strive for high standards of service so this is great to hear. Thank you.

I have let my house through SAB for 2 years now and the team at Longstanton have always been extremely helpful and resolved any issues straight away. Their communication is always prompt and very efficient. I would definitely recommend them as an agent and will continue to use them.
