Saint Andrews bureau have been nothing but helpful throughout my time renting with them. They have sorted out difficult situations for me almost instantly, always calling me or emailing me with answers straight away. Nothing is too much for them. Cheryl was absolutely great with me from when she took over checking the property I was renting at regular inspections, reporting and fixing any issues I had. She also always made sure that I was happy to have my inspection on certain days being very flexible when needing to change them. Very fair company. Very honest and I would highly recommend them to anyone that wants to rent/buy in the future. I’m sad not to be using them as an estate agent anymore and would certainly rent with them again if I need to move again in the future. Thank you SAB Royston.

Be prepared to spend 20% of your working time to fix issues caused spaces and the staff

Location: Copenhagen, DenmarkImagine a modern brand with beautiful buildings but with processes and the operations of a 30-year-old (Regus/IWG) company behind.I have been in the Copenhagen location for almost a year and I have been having issues over issues. I was given four online accounts when I started instead of one and I had to spend months contacting their helpdesk to get it solved (partially) because the local stuff even though they are nice they can only create an issue but don't have the power to fix them. In one instance I had my office location moved without my signature/permission before being presented with the alternative resulting in a mess of tens of new invoices, charges credit notes that apparently it had to figure out and fix costing me extra hours in accounting services.Recently I had a coffee access subscription that I have required to be canceled and got a confirmation for it via email only to be charged again the next month. The local staff could not fix the invoice but again it was on me to fix their mistakes and waste my time on calling the helpdesk in order to fix the issue.Overall if you spend any time in the lounge you can hear the constant echo of the staff apologizing over and over to customers so I am out of this,

Worst experience I've ever had

Worst experience I've ever had with any kind of company! I had multiple issues with them but the worst is that they improperly charged me more than 1000 USD, I've been talking with their support for more than a month and after someone finally said they would refund me, they charged even more!! It's absurd!

Avoid at all costs

Avoid at all costs, it’s just another Regus rip you off scam. Rolling Monthly contract cancelled after two months. Then they invoice me for £618.00 in order to forward my post and telephone calls. I’ve never even had an address or phone service, it was just a desk. I really hope IWG goes under

Citypoint, London

I have to say this is one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with in my 30 years in business. Poor service, no ability to get decisions done. I feel sorry for the staff in a way as the company is so badly run there is no chain of command to get anything sorted. The office is actually quite nice, but the service is awful. Dirty kitchens that have shrunk in size, coffee cups stacking up in the sink, break out areas that are cut, phones not working, wifi slow. Maintenance staff sacked to save costs. Our aircon didnt work for a year, they couldn't fix it.Just go somewhere else. We did the minute the contract ended.

One of the worst companies I've had the…

One of the worst companies I've had the displeasure of interacting with. I was hard sold a private desk (being warned if I didn't sign it would be gone in a few days). The agent told me the minimum contract was 3 months long - I refused and agreed on a 1 month rolling contract. Warning signals before move in date - tech / app not working, they were being vague about how to cancel. I decided to cancel my membership before it started - honouring the first month but terminating it immediately (so was only contracted to the space for 1 month). After a lot of hassle and evasion, I managed to get e-mail confirmation that the contract was terminated at the end of November. It's now 4 months later and I've been having an ongoing battle with Regus asking for £1800 pounds - for a one month contract that was meant to cost £300 pounds. They decided to renew and update my contract (without my approval) even though I had written confirmation that my contract was terminated at the end of November. Someone in their team decided to re-active and renew the contract without my approval and without notifying me. I would honestly give 0 stars if possible.

WORST EXPERIENCE IN THE HISTORY OF EVER

Only giving it one star cause ?I can't give 0. Spaces Hell's Kitchen, NYC. WORST costumer service I've ever got. Lied all along the way about the services. From hours of operations, to pricing, to membership to even having a barista on premises. By the number of one starts here, I'm surprised this company is still in business. Perhaps a class action by everyone here will change their method of behavior and practice.

Huge lease increase!

Spaces, Carlsbergbyen, Copenhagen. We've been in the building for 7 months and although our experience there has been ok, we have now received a renewal agreement with an increase of over 10% per annum. I was expecting a small increase, but 10.4% is ridiculous. I have tried to renegotiate and have been told in no uncertain terms that our original price is no longer available. We are now left with two options, shut up and pay up or move out. I am sad and disappointed in Spaces for treating a growing business this way. We have been quite happy at the centre, but to increase a lease by 10% is not ok. Please be aware if you are a small business looking to grow. This is most definitely not the place to take an office.

Missold at Spaces Victoria (co-working hotdesk does not work / exist after all)

I had been sold that I could book a co-working hotdesk at this facility as part of my membership. Using the website, I then booked a co-working desk succesfully at this facility. However, upon arriving at the facility and asking for my desk, I was told, that in fact one cannot book co-working hotdesk at this facility, despite having succesfully booked one via the website (and actually getting a specific desk number). Upon then cancelling my contract, I cannot get out of the contract earlier despite obviously having been missold and ended up paying for two months (!!!). I can only recommend to stay away.

Spaces at CityPoint London

We moved in a couple of days ago and this is already turning traumatic. The so-called 'community' meeting rooms are always booked. Always. At £75 per hour for a meeting, nobody in their sane mind will pay for such a thing. No milk in the fridge. No coffee.Tap water, with a wonky faucet just waiting to snap out of the wall.Kitchen is always dirty - water everywhere, dishwasher never turned on.No utensils, no nothing. No mail sorting. You basically have to go in the mailroom yourself (that's the 'official' stance') and find your package - among the hundreds of others. You're basically renting four walls. That's it.Also, this particular building hasn't had its air circulation system cleaned in years. You can smell and often straight-up choke from the amount of dust.

I do not recommend it.

They advertise as having a free trial. However, you have to contact them to "potentially" get a free trial. I did several back and forth of emailing to get the "free trial". However, when I got to the space in Brooklyn, the receptionist looked perplexed and asked me if I were there for a tour several times. I showed then the email correspondence with the representative who made a reservation for my free trial. One of the receptionist went to get a sales manager and told me that I have to do a tour before the free trial. The "tour" was basically just the sales manager explaining different prices for different plans. No walking around the space or showing me where things are. No explanation about what are available for the hotdesk workers. No explanation about the fact that going to the bathroom upstairs would need a key to get back into the workspace. Therefore, I was locked out of the space in the second floor and I had to get out of the building to get back in. I was considering signing up for 5 days/month plan because of the location but I even left mid-day of my free trial. They probably just don't care about people who are not going to pay full workspace price but this really makes me not want to recommend it to others.

Awful finance / admin....lovely reception team (doesn't make up for it in any way!!!!!)

To be fair - the reception staff at Ropewalks Spaces in Liverpool were great. The finance function were incompetent bordering on fraudulent.I have paid £1500 'late fees' on my invoices despite them having my credit card on account.Alongside that there was a random number generator for dilapidations costs when we moved out.Avoid - lots of better options available now.

Pushed to complete early, left me homeless at Christmas, did not care

Initial experience of booking to view a let was good, then the dealing with the paperwork there were a few mistakes but dealt with well. It all fell apart just 4 days before handing over the keys, when I received an email informing me that my let had been cancelled because the previous client had not returned the keys. This email was sent at the end of the working day so I could not phone them back to ask what my options were, and left me essentially homeless as I had handed notice in on my current let as is normal. This is also the week before Christmas. I spent that night stressing out about how I was going to cope with the situation. My house move was all booked, utlities ready to be moved, standing orders for existing property cancelled and end of tenancy clean booked. A lot of this I had had to pay for up front as it is so close to Christmas. The next day I was waiting at the office to speak to someone as to what I could do. The total lack of empathy was shocking, they did not care at all and didn't even offer to help me find something else. They even had the gall to point out that legally they did not have to do anything. So Happy Christmas to me, homeless through no fault of my own. I have never had a problem renting before, I have never defaulted on a payment and never lost a penny off a deposit. Moving at Christmas is stressful enough and SAB pushed me to move before the end of my current tenancy, which given they must have known they had a problem with their existing client (she had gone none contact and the house was empty except for rubbish when I viewed it 5 weeks ago), to think they could turn it around in 4 days was unrealistic on their part.

Spaces - Mappin House

Spaces: Mappin House Like others, I observe that a 1 Star rating, is 1 Star too many!!I have written previously, to complain about shocking management and administration processes adopted at Mappin House, which is supposed to be Space's flag-ship, 5* property!!!!?Having been a client at Mappin House for the better part of 5 years, and having paid invoices totalling in excess of £70,000 to Spaces/Regus, I was astounded to find out today, that "The Client Relation Manager" took it upon herself, to unilaterally decide to remove my mail box, without having the decency or curtesy to tell me what she was about to do. In the process, I have to guess that she has sent my mail (including a letter which enclosed a cheque for work done) "back to sender".......?!When I raised a compliant verbally to the manager, and asked for an explanation, I was told that she was too busy to deal with my complaint, but that she would reply later today. However, the better part of a working day has now passed, I have watched her chat with colleagues, wonder aimlessly around the floor, and sit at her desk...... So, it is no surprise to me that the promised response has not materialised. It is bad enough that client complaints are generally ignored, but the attitude of the property manager at Mappin House is only part of a bigger problem. Space's own company Policies & Processes are often not enforced, from bulk-emailing clients and forgetting to blind-copy everyone on the mailing list, through to poor, inaccurate accounting and administration, broken lifts, tired and stained soft and hard finishes, and the main gent's toilets were "out of service" for the better part of 8+ weeks - all without explanation or apology. I accept that its normal for properties to encounter technical and administration problems, but it is not normal for a company's chosen representative, to run away from their responsibilities, and in the process prove they have forgotten their job title: "Client Relations Manager"! In conclusion, I believe it is a sad indictment that Spaces are ready to employ managers who are unable to define the meaning of the word "SERVICE"..... Furthermore, when a manager is prepared to accuse a client of breaking the law, they are then unwilling to row-back and acknowledge their mistake, preferring instead to dig an even deeper hole for themselves, by mustering a sarcastic smile and the rather bizarre comment: "Thank you for your feedback" - repeated 3 times........!SECOND REVIEW Sent Mid: 2019Original Review:A Great location and a really nice crowd of people use this office space, and the reception staff, cafe staff and the in-house cleaner are all brilliant.BUT, The Management and Admin Staff of this 'Regus' owned, 'Spaces' branded company have a great deal to learn. It might help if they realised they are working in the "Service Industry", so should define the word "Service" and then add it to their mission statement. I may not be considered a “big” client by Spaces, but my annual accounts show I have paid a little short of £65,000.00 for rent and extra charges.I was once over charged by £22,000 and aggressively informed I had 24 hours to pay! Of course, I disputed the charge (I was in the Middle East at the time, so I was obliged to make a lot of international calls to understand what was happening), and while the 22K did eventually disappear from my account, no one from Spaces contacted me to explain what had happened or thought it necessary to apologise for the stress and inconvenience caused. Then, Invoices for extra services are often inaccurate, £360 of coffee shop expenses included multiple charges for strange figures like 32p, 91p & £2.97, which neither the coffee shop or the Spaces team could explain, again the charges disappeared from my statement just as quickly as they had appeared, but no one contacted me to explain what had happened...... Most recently Zini, "The Community Manager" at Spaces Oxford Street informed me that I was misusing my membership and “breaking the law by using the building as my business address, and consequently she’d be obliged to return any mail received for me ‘to sender’, unless I started paying for mail services, she also informed me out of the blue that Id have pay extra for every guest that visited me. I pointed out that I believed she was wrong, showed her my contract which contradicted her comments, escalated the matter to Mr. Taylor, the "City Team Leader" for Spaces, Regus, and provided documented evidence to prove my case. Weeks on and the silence is palpable, I’ve tried to jog them along, but Ms Zini defiantly holds her position, while Mr. Taylor will not even reply to my emails.Much is made of Spaces being a premium property that offers premium facilities and certainly the cost of membership conclusively backs up these claims. However, the level of accuracy in the accounts and the really poor Admin and Management provided, leaves this property profoundly lacking - a great shame!

Mediocre at best

Current tenant: I'm not sure where to go or whom to ask anymore so Google seems appropriate. Our team moved on September 1st. To this date, couch and other furniture has not arrived. The office is not cleaned as promised. Dirty mugs and glasses left for days. No milk in the fridge. Our invoices are incorrect. It's too much to handle for the local team which does a good job.

As first time buyers trying to find a mortgage and home that suits us was like walking through a mine field that was until we talked to Helen who found us the best mortgage for us. Sarah found us some fantastic properties to look at and once we had found our perfect home Chelsi was with us every step of the way and always keep us up to date and was there to take my calls even if I rang 100 times!!! Terrible experience at Bath,UK Spaces

Terrible experience at Bath,UK Spaces. I wouldnot recommend going near them. All sorts of horrible hidden expenses as you leave that you have to fight to have removed. As a small one man band they added an extra £550 on me asI left for erroneous admin costs and 2 late payment charges due to them mucking up paper work (I got them removed). Then final insult to be charged rates by council retrospectively and having to chase Spaces to have rectified by their admin, currently on month 3 of chasing this to be sorted and court case looming by council as Spaces can’t get their act together and let the council know it is their responsibility. Many other companies in same boat and have rates bills being chased. Also locked me into a 6 month contract when I didn’t need the space for 6 months and was 1 day over to cancel, no flexibility or leniency for 1 man band business. If you are a small business look elsewhere and if you’re a big business you can do better looking around for your own office.
