Can be better in details
New move-in user from wework to space. Overall premise, hardware(furniture) are great. Staff service is also helpful but servicing from premium service provider can be done better, - such as offering of commmunity meeting room, range of facilites, and service and detail in areas can be improved. 4 star service in 5 star hotel. Perhaps differ by location.
Hi Leo, I am sorry to hear of your dissatisfaction.Your complaint has originated because you wanted the use of a community meeting room free of charge and were told the these are chargeable. We are sorry that you feel that this is unacceptable, but we feel that it is very unfair to make a complaint on such a public forum for the sole reason that we are not able to give you a service free of charge.A member of my team has contacted you to reaffirm this. Kind regards, Michelle SpireAssistant Global Customer Service at Spaces

Great space but poorly managed
Great space and furnishing but poorly managed. Every significant request needs to go through a long email loop. Don't even get me started on their billing system, the bill amount is often wrong yet will take ages to rectify. They don't seem to mind passing the extra admin cost onto the customer for reviewing the bills but will nickel and dime you for every "late" fee, even when it's their fault, it will take countless email to rectify.DO NO RECOMMEND.Update: 2023/10/12================The response from Spaces below is predictable, it is every reason why you should think long and hard about signing up with them. They don't even understand the purpose of this review. While I was reviewing them based on my experience AT THEIR REQUEST, they think I'm escalating even when they were the ones to send me the link to post a review in the first place. LOL.I am unfortunately stuck with them for another year, because my other company is also here. Please don't make the mistake I did. They don't care about the troubles they pass onto the customers at all, just as long as they can tick the boxes and say they did their job. The facts are:[FACT 1]: I have been overcharged erroneously since day 1 of moving in, eventually culminating the removal of my credit card because they don't provide cash refunds, only credits.[FACT 2]: Due to the credit resulting from the overcharges, the billing portal on the website consistently showed a negative balance, however, the bill itself was of a positive balance. Hence, we checked with the center to see if there was something wrong. We even tried to hurry them because we knew the silly billing system would try to bill us for late payment, but we were assured this would not happen by the center reps.[FACT 3]: On August 14 (one day before the bill was due), Kony (representative from another center) replies that the charges were correct and we needed to pay the full balance. When asked about the discrepancy between the billing portal and the bill, she said she doesn't know.[FACT 4]: So when all other customers have 14 days to review their bills, we had just 1 day. To make matters worse, to this day, the center still cannot explain why there was a discrepancy between the billing portal and the bill.[FACT 5]: In total, all of this reconciliation and back and forth communication cost us DAYS of accumulated work, but we can't bill them for the additional administrative hassle. Only the center reserve the right to bill administrative charges on late payments that were caused by them.
Hi Michael,I’m sorry if you felt the need to escalate this.Regardless of the reason, I understand how frustrating it can be and apologise if we did not provide the level of service that you expect and deserve from Spaces. You have been charged with double payments for the invoices issued in the month of April 2023 and it caused an overpayment in the account. Due to this, you have removed your payment card from your account. The overpayment was refunded to you partially and the balance amount was kept in your account to be offset against the upcoming invoices. This amount was insufficient to cover the final invoices which caused late payment fees in your account. These late payment fees are valid and payable since the invoices remain unpaid.Your account is currently being restricted due to non-payment. We greatly value your business and want to maintain a positive working relationship with you. However, the current payment situation needs to be resolved. Should you require further assistance, please respond to my team member who is in touch with you.Kind regards,Lorraine BruleGlobal Customer Service at Spaces

I am a Spaces member since 2020: nice location, nice office space, nice design, quiet and friendly team always ready to help. + nice office network all over Seoul and globally which optimises my travelling time (even for a meeting on the other side of the town, I don't need to get back to the office and can simply join an other location for the rest of the day)

Beautiful space!
I visited the Spaces in Gamla Stan, Stockholm. The space is newly renovated in an old building with high sealings and interesting architectural details resulting in a modern and creative atmosphere. It has lots of seating, helpful and friendly staff, and is centrally located. I would highly recommend a visit!

A terrible company to hire from.
A terrible company to hire from. Finally after 2 years my contract ended in August, but it's like the awful gift that keeps on asking!I was charged twice for two different restoration fees? And despite terminating my contract in August they are dragging their heels to return my deposit. Why on earth do I need to submit a request to return monies when I'm done at the end of a contract - it doesn't make any sense. Despite two requests I still have heard nothing. There was no recourse when none of the doors locked us out of the building for 3 days - nobody could enter the building. I was told it wasn't there fault??I could go on - unreliable Wifi, heating problems, only one fire escape on the top floor, cleaners making calls from your office... the list just goes on.Be careful if you hire - get everything in writing and READ the T&Cs properly.UPDATE: 11 Oct - I have numerous emails from your team and mentioned countless time your portal on moblie and desktop does NOT work - you guys really need to talk to each other. It's being sorted but very slowly.
Hi Ahad,I’m very sorry to hear of your disappointment. We fully understand the importance of receiving your refund promptly. You must request your retainer refund online as clarified in the agreement you signed.Requesting your refund is easy. You should log into your online account (i.e., myspacesworks.com), select Account > Billing and payments > Deposit / Retainer balances, where a specific section for refund requests is available. We will then confirm your payment date and amount. You should receive your refund within 30 days after your end date or request date (whichever is later). It’s an automated process. However, we ask you to go through some security steps as part of our fraud-prevention policy.Since you’re experiencing difficulties with requesting the refund online, we will help you to process it manually as confirmed by one of my team members. Once we process your refund you will receive a correspondence letting you know that the payment was processed successfully. Your centre team has confirmed that the other concerns you mentioned in the review have already been resolved. Please respond to my team member if you need further assistance.Best regards,Michelle SpireAssistant Global Customer Service at Spaces

Yikes-Their instability led to major disruption of my business
Yikes! In July, Spaces sent a notice on a Friday to tenants stating that due to ongoing issues with building management at their Gramercy location, Spaces tenants had one week to move to another Spaces location or to terminate our agreements. By midweek, though, they worked things out with the building, so we ended up not having to move. Yesterday (Monday, October 9, 2023), they sent a similar note, this time stating that we had to be out by this coming Friday by 5:00 p.m. As a sole proprietor, what would have happened if I were traveling this week and couldn't come in to pack my things? As it is, I only have 1 1/2 days available this week to come into the office to pack and remove my belongings. Due to the inconsideration they've twice shown their customers with incredibly stressful business disruptions, I've chosen to terminate my relationship with Spaces and will seek a different, more professional and stable partner for my office space.
Hello Mark,I’m very sorry to hear of your disappointment.Regardless of the reason, I understand how frustrating it can be and apologize if we did not provide the level of service that you expect and deserve from Spaces. I have immediately asked the Manager of your centre to look into this as a priority and provide me with more information. A member of our team will get back to you as soon as we have the details. Your satisfaction is very important. Therefore, we’ll make the relevant enquiries and aim to put matters right as soon as we can. Where appropriate, we’ll also take steps to prevent the situation from happening again. Thanks again for your comments, which help us improve. We appreciate your business. Terrible customer service
First signed up for a 1 year shared desk lease with this Spaces in 2020 during the pandemic as a new business owner in the area. The location was close to my apt and I found it convenient to have the option of working somewhere outside my apt. Once I toured the space, I noticed that the images online did not represent what I saw in person and was told the space was still being built and remodeled. There was a promise of amenities and rooftop space that technically was never built at this location. False hope on my part. Ended up switching to a virtual address a yr later when I realized my money was being wasted and did not feel comfortable bringing clients to such an outdated, unwelcoming space. This year, 3 months after renewing my virtual office, mind you the price went up almost 30% from when I first signed, I was given 5 days' notice on the evening of a holiday that my work address would be changed to a different location. Ironically, over those 2 months my mail has been coming late to the location as well. Apparently, there have been building issues since July and I am now being notified about these issues, guess it wasn't a priority. Spoke to the space manager over the phone who lacked empathy and understanding. No apology, just a "no worries" and a vague explanation. I should have trusted my instincts and got out of there as soon as Spaces misrepresented themselves from the beginning. Lesson learned. Onwards and upwards
Hi Joanna, I am sorry to hear of your dissatisfaction. We had intentions to offer a penthouse suite in this building. However, during the covid period many changes had to be made and regretfully, we could not complete it as we didn’t renew the agreement with the landlord for these floors. We apologise for advertising our intentions before they were complete but the agreement for the co-working desk was signed based on the amenities at the time. At Regus we work hard to ensure our services offer exceptional value to our customers and to provide many different options to meet every requirement and budget but the increase in price was a necessary adjustment due to the increase in costs. Our pricing is fair and consistent with the current market conditions. A centre closure can be a frustrating experience for customers and it’s something we try to avoid wherever possible. We understand that you'd have appreciated greater notice. Unfortunately, on this occasion we were unable to provide it, but I will make the relevant enquiries and take steps to prevent the situation from happening again. There were some issues with the air conditioning in the centre and we provided resolutions for customers who had a desk or office within this centre. As your agreement with us is a virtual office and you don’t have a space within the centre, the air conditioning did not affect you.A member of my team has been in touch to answer any further questions you may have. Kind regards, Michelle SpireAssistant Global Customer Service at Spaces

The billing timing is nonsense
The billing timing is nonsense. I mean, a month before... I had to pay for a month in which I coud only go for 4 days. No solution or alternative offered.
Hi Inigo, I am sorry to hear about your dissatisfaction. At Spaces, we work hard to ensure full transparency in our invoicing process. Our invoices are made up of two different types of charges:1. Recurring charges like your monthly office fee, parking, signage… These are billed in advance.2. One-time charges like meeting rooms, photocopies, admin support… These are billed in arrears. All your invoices are available in your online account (Account section) and payable upon receipt but no later than the 15th day of each month. You have been charged on a monthly basis for the service you used and it is in your agreement terms.Should you require further information or support in this matter, please feel free to contact your centre team directly.Best,Lorraine BruleGlobal Customer Service at Spaces
