Trustpilot3 stars is generous - Spaces in Atlanta
The staff was friendly and the place had a nice vibe. I don't like several things; 1 - You have to hunt for an outlet. I don't know why you brand yourself as a co-working space when you don't have outlets for computers at every table. 2 - they don't forward mail or notify you when you have mail unless you pay more money and what you pay is already high 3 - It's only open during regular business hours and you can't access it on weekends or eventing 4 - there is no filtered water or free coffee. This just makes it hard to really use it as a work space for any extended period of time. The benefit was that you can use it for an address for businessI know in Atlanta and beyond, Switchyard is cheaper and open 24/7 with water and coffee included. They don't offer the address for business feature, but for the work-from-home crowd, switchyard beats it 100%.In Nevada, I've found a place that I can use for a business address that does forward mail for cheaper than what I paid for Spaces. The worst part of spaces is that it auto-renews your membership a year at a time without you signing anything or really knowing it's happening. They'll send an email - hypothetically - but I don't recall receiving it, so I don't know if it looks like a newsletter email or what. And they won't let you out of it or give you any sort of break. I think that's a sign of a bad business model trying to hold revenue by any means possible.

Hi Mary, Regardless of the reason, I understand how frustrating it can be and I apologise if we did not provide the level of service that you expect and deserve from Spaces. I immediately asked the line manager of your centre to investigate this as a priority; they confirmed that the issues have been addressed and they have updated you on it.They're your key contact in this matter. TrustpilotNOTHING functions in this space
NOTHING functions in this space. There are no cleaners, and the bathrooms are constantly unkempt, lacking basic necessities such as hand soap and paper towels. We have to email the reception to remind them of the shortage because no one takes care of it unless you complain. The kitchen is also consistently messy and unhygienic due to the lack of dish soap, hand soap, and paper towels. We've had some packages lost because apparently this particular location has two entrances and they are not always attended. Some delivery couriers would leave the packages at the fright entrance, and the space does not take responsibility for them. The printers are frequently out of order, and the WiFi is unreliable. The HVAC situation is also very unpredictable. One day the space is freezing and the next day it is boiling. Despite numerous emails to the management, no improvements have been made. Someone always answers your emails nicely, but absolutely NOTHING has changed. No concrete actions have been taken to address these issues for months and months, so how nice is that really. After months of complaints, there are still no cleaners, the bathrooms are still filthy, the printers are still broken. Huge garbage bags pile up daily with collection only happening once a week. We used to see piles and piles of garbage sitting in the kitchen area for days.I do not recommend this office to anyone.

Hi Chris, I’m very sorry to hear of your disappointment. We can assure you that the bathrooms are not “unkept”; our cleaning crew works nightly to minimize any disruption to customers. Additionally, we have increased the stocking of essentials in both the bathrooms and kitchens, which took effect this month. There will no longer be a shortage of paper towels and soap in these areas.Regarding your post, while we understand your concern, we cannot take responsibility for packages delivered to the wrong location. We have provided instructions to all customers on what to include on their shipment addresses to ensure proper delivery. We would suggest contacting the courier directly to check if you included these instructions and they are followed. There was a known issue with the software on the HP Printers which meant printing could only be done with a USB stick. This issue was resolved some time ago and customers were allowed to print for free during the period of difficulty. In the past, we experienced some inconsistency with the Wi-Fi due to increased occupancy at the centre. However, we had technicians address the issue earlier this year, and it has been functioning perfectly for the last six months. As you haven't raised any concerns with us directly, I was surprised to see your online complaint about this. The airflow from the air conditioner is inconsistent, and we currently lack a centralized system to control temperatures across different areas of the floor. For temperature modification, we contacted an external company, and changes will be made soon but we are actively seeking solutions to enhance comfort for all our customers in this area.Kind regards, Michelle Spire Assistant Global Customer Service at Spaces

TrustpilotWe have been really dissatisfied at our…
We have been really dissatisfied at our office in SPACES at 401 Park Avenue South, Suite 904, NY, NY 10016. We have been at this location since August of 2023, before which we were at SPACES 287 Park Avenue South (we moved a couple of offices there due to noise), NY10010.Since January of 2024 we saw a decline in the services at Spaces 401 Park Ave S. We have email messages going back to January 3, 2024 asking reception to put paper towels by kitchen sink. This turned into an almost everyday event where we had to notify reception of the basics, every day.The printers were always unreliable.Temperature control completely unreliable, freezing one day, boiling anotherWifi ok, but spotty some days.Spaces, hallways unsanitary!!Bathrooms are disgusting!!The dishes that come out of the dishwasher have to be hand washed before use as they come out dirty still. No hand soap, no paper towels, in men’s bathroom and kitchen, this is an everyday issue that has never been resolved. There is no cleaning crew in sight for months. We have not seen any cleaners this entire year. The kitchen is overflowing with garbage bags for days on end. There is no one here taking any responsibility or ensuring that our daily work experience is pleasurable. Reception staff are apologetic, but not making any difference in improving the working conditions.Printers!! No printers available for weeks end of June through mid July, and we have been asked to go to fedex every time we need to print something or download all on a USB stick to print at printer which is a waste of time.We even inquired about moving to another office but the rent quoted was astronomical at $3700 PM.We have been forced to leave our office because our everyday working environment was made miserable by SPACES.We moved out of Spaces yesterday, August 1, 2024 as we could not take the abuse and complete lack of attention any longer. The office space I was in was extremely hot, it seemed like the AC was broken and had to move out of there because of how hot it was starting to get. They knew about this problem since an email went out weeks later, yet, still making pay my regular lease payment and a hidden fee of over $400 once I terminated the lease. I believe that to be very inconsiderate considering the fact that I had to move out of my office space and work back from home due to the broken AC and how hot the space was. I still have not seen my security deposit come in either, even though this was requested over a month ago. Worst experience and would not recommend this company to any of my friends or family.

Hello Bryan,I understand that you’re disappointed, and I’d like to help. At Regus the maintenance of our facilities is very important, and we can assure you of our highest standards. The regular maintenance of our facilities, in all Regus locations, as well as the welfare of all visitors, customers and staff members, are extremely important to us. We provide our restoration service for all customers to save time and money, along with the frustration of dealing with multiple outside vendors such as IT & phone technicians. When you moved into your office, we ensured it was all in working order and ready for use. We do the same with each customer and this service is part of your agreement. On behalf of your Community team, I’d like to extend a full apology if this wasn’t explained to you. My team are assisting you now with your retainer refund. We promise to process this within 30 days of your end date which was 31 July 2024 so the standard timeline as not passed. Also, there is a small pending balance which prevents us from processing your refund timely. We will clarify further for you directly.Thank you for your cooperation.Regards, Lorraine Brule Global Customer Service at Spaces

TrustpilotIt is a thumbs down from us
It is a thumbs down from us. After renting for over 12 years with SAB they are very unprofessional. They do cheap botch it jobs on an already mouldy damp house. Please stay away especially if the landlord is Lord of the Manor Lord Trumpington. Bullied with section 21s just because we queried an increase to rent. .... house is mouldy damp and was infested with moths under the cupboard but didn't dare ask for help. A boiler that should have been condemned and disgusting rotten decades old windows and kitchen. Bullying agents. Glad to be out in our own new home.

Trustpilot1 star is generous
1 star is generous. We've been in a Spaces office for less than a year and it has been problem after problem. For approximately 3 months there was a dangerous metre-wide hole in the floor... the solution was to put a small table over it. One of the two lifts has been out of order for over 3 months and at one stage they were both out of order... I have no idea how the disabled members of the building were able to leave work that day - awful. And now the water has stopped and they haven't given us an ETA for when it will turn back on. It's an absolute joke - avoid at all costs!

TrustpilotI had an incredibly frustrating…
I had an incredibly frustrating experience with the West Hartford Spaces Virtual Office. I contracted their services in January 2023, specifically for mail scanning, which was only performed during the first month. After that, the service ceased, and I received none of my important mail, despite being continuously billed. The customer service was unhelpful and dismissive of my concerns. Despite multiple communications and clear evidence of their failure to fulfill the contracted service, they refused to provide a refund. The billing was unclear and did not match the information on their website. Even when provided with proof of their lapses, they only offered to "try" and request a credit for mail handling services, which is unacceptable given the circumstances.I am now pursuing chargebacks through my credit card company and filing a claim in small claims court to recover the funds paid for undelivered services. I also plan to seek damages for the inconvenience and expenses incurred.I would not recommend West Hartford Spaces Virtual Office to anyone due to their failure to deliver on their promises and their poor handling of customer concerns. Save yourself the trouble and look for a more reliable service provider.

Hi Custodio,I’m so sorry for your dissatisfaction. You have signed a virtual office plan under a month-to-month agreement with a start date of 30 January 2023. For the convenience of our virtual office customers, we automatically set up a weekly mail forwarding service covering mail handling (including scanning and emailing the mail) and envelopes. You can of course collect your mail from the centre during business hours, if you prefer, or change the frequency in which we forward your mail (weekly or monthly). If you wish to remove or change the frequency of the service, you can contact your centre team and they will do it for you.You contacted your centre team only in July 2024 and mentioned that you had not received scanned copies of your mail since March 2023 and requested to end your agreement. They clarified to you that emailing the scanned copies of the mail was a one-time request and they were forwarding any mail received under your name to the address you have registered with them. The mail forwarding service has been opted out from your account, last 2 charges were credited as per our policy and your agreement ended on 31 August 2024.Please understand that it is the customer’s responsibility to check their billing regularly and notify the centre team of the services they’re not receiving promptly so that it can be addressed timely.Should you require further help in this matter, please respond to my team member who is in touch with you.Kind regards,Michelle SpireAssistant Global Customer Service at Spaces

TrustpilotThis has to be the worst service…
This has to be the worst service oriented business I’ve ever come across. I was charged a late fee on an invoice before they credited me the previous invoice that I paid the month prior. It’s another case of the accounts receivable department being the quickest in the office and accounts payable being the slowest. Piece of advice, take care of the only source of income you have or expect to lose it. Update: I have late fees that were incurred because they refunded my original $4500 deposit late. They then sent another invoice for another $5400 for the deposit of a different office space plus first month (never moved in to the first office space so was expecting a refund). I had to bring up receiving the refund to them and couldn’t spend upwards of $10k on this issue and needed the refund first. In a situation like this, it’s important to take the situation into consideration rather than the policy. However, as you can see from their reply, they’re only focused on the policy and although they refunded the late fee, are still pointing out the fact that I was late. I am very aware I was late however expecting a small business to dish out $10k simply because “invoices are due on the 15th” and “your refund is processing for the next 5-7 days” is my problem here. Take care of your customers, do what’s right, let go of the policy and understand the situation and extend some grace. These are the reasons I have said no when being asked to remove my review.

UPDATE: Well, well, well.... the plot doth thicken. The truth finally reveals itself after all the lies. Spaces are kicking out all of their tenants at CityPoint and forcing them to relocate hence why they wouldn't fix the air con. Despite me asking if this was the case a month ago and told absolutely not, it is. No parts were ever ordered and they had no intention to fix the air con as per the incorrect information in spaces responses. DO NOT EVER ENTER A CONTRACT WITH THESE PEOPLE. I'm looking forward to the response below. Original review: Middle management and above are non existent. As a result staff turnover is extremely high as the staff get fed up. Our air conditioning hasn't worked properly for over a year and they continue to fob us off. After a terrible meeting with the management team who couldn't have been more unhelpful and arrogant, rather than accepting they would fix the issue he wanted to move us across London. Unbelievable. Look elsewhere as there are many better options nearby as we will be when our contract is up. I’d me grateful if senior management contacted me directly. Happy to provide photo evidence of our office reaching over 33 degree in May and it’s not even summer yet. The latest response from management is hilarious. Either you’ve been lied to or you’re continuing the lie. No parts have been ordered, nothing. Show proof if so… Avoid these people at all costs.
