We are currently looking to buy a property in Alnwick and we are super impressed with RMS. Out of all the estate agents we have registered with, they are definitely the most communicative and have understood our needs for the property we are looking for ie they are sending details of properties in our budget and in the area we are after rather than just sending us everything. Maureen is a really helpful, always returning calls and keeps us in the loop. Super efficient.

We recently sold a property through RMS in Blyth, sale went smoothly and quick. Dealt with Allison at the start who was great and then handed over to Kate once the sale had been agreed and she was fantastic - we always felt that she dealt with any questions we had and remained professional throughout our dealings. It was mine and my partners first time buying a home and Alistair Bowman from Rook Matthews Sayer was our mortgage advisor. He was amazing! No question was too silly to ask him, since we were new to the whole process we had a lot we were unsure about but he was always there to provide an answer. He checked in throughout the whole process and made it a lot easier for us being our main point of contact. If we had a worry or query he would respond instantly even outside of his working hours. He was always extremely friendly and positive as well as actually pushing things forward and being genuinely interested in our buying process. Could not have asked for a better mortgage advisor! Communication has been good, although there were times that I had to wait for updates via email due to the team being extremely busy, which I could cope with. Dire levels of communication for their commercial department. While we showed great interest in buying one of their commercial properties listed they showed very little interest in selling it to us.

We’re sorry you missed out on the purchase of the very popular property, however, the seller chose to withdraw the property and therefore all viewings, pending viewings and offers were cancelled. I have looked into this and can confirm the commercial team did send you the brochure and also chased the seller to organise a viewing on your behalf. In this instance the seller was slow to respond to our request for your viewing which was why our response to you was delayed while we were awaiting their response. Additionally, the seller apologised for the delay in response for the viewings request they were deciding whether to withdraw the property due to personal circumstances. We sold our flat and despite a pandemic and RMS closing the local office during the sale we couldn’t have experienced a more professional service. In fact, Laura from RMS was on the ball throughout and did a better job than our solicitor. Without her we’d never have known our solicitor was causing a delay. We’ll definitely use RMS when we sell our next property - not so sure about the solicitor.
