Excellent service provided by Rooks Matthews Sayer, regular contact maintained, explained the whole process in detail and made sure I understood every step. Very honest about the whole process and I felt assured I was receiving the best deal and best advice. Alistair was my mortgage broker throughout the process and I could not have asked for a better service. I received regular emails and phone calls to update me about my progress, and he actioned everything in a timely manner. This was my first property I was purchasing, and they helped make the process simple and efficient.

Financial advice with Alistair

We bought our house through RMS about 9years ago with Wendy and used their financial advisor Alistair with help for our Mortgage and insurances. I cant praise them enough. Through the years Alistair has kept our remortgages and insurances up to date and the best deals he could get. This has meant we are now in a position to almost own our house and no longer require their services. Anyone wanting advice with their mortgages, life insurance etc I cant recommend Alistair at Astington RMS enough.

Service miles apart from other agents

Having used a different agent for the sale of our property, we found the service offered by RMS Forest Hall to be miles apart for our purchase. We received very little communication from RMS regards our purchase and when we did, we found it to be inaccurate, outdated and unrealistic. We spent alot our of time having to chase various stakeholders to progress the purchase with little to no action from RMS. This eventually lead to the collapse of the purchase. We received no response to our communications in the lead up of pulling out of the purchase from RMS.

Alistair Bowman is hands down the best mortgage advisor in the business. Having used Alistair Bowman as my mortgage advisor for the best part of a decade it is clear that I wouldn’t want to use anyone else. Nothing is a problem for him, always communicating throughout the whole process and his knowledge/experience means he is able to answer all questions and queries that I have. 3 remortgages and one full house purchase and not once has there been anything that he hasn’t been able to deal with in as little time as possible. Cannot recommend him enough.

Very disappointing service

Very disappointing service, overpromised and under-delivered. We had to chase; calls weren't returned and had to be chased. They told us differing things at different times, e.g. first, our buyers had their mortgage, then they came in the following week to discuss mortgages, then something different two weeks later. I have raised level of service several times but feel fobbed off and was told it's normal conveyancing.When we raised concerns we have been told "David Jones should have been more on hand to assist with this, however as David is out of the office most of the time it would be impossible for him to do this".

RMS Gosforth are the people to use

I would say most people buying/selling homes find it very stressful, a very long process from start to finish.RMS Gosforth made a good impression on me from day one. I was welcomed into the branch to complete my registration forms. Eve made me feel at ease from the first day.I started getting viewings through for my property almost the next day, I dealt with Richard for my bookings who again was a pleasure to deal with.Once I accepted an offer I then got moved to Natalie who looked after me until completion today. Natalie is efficient and excellent in what she does trying to keep communication with all parties going, it is such a stressful time so having someone like Natalie keeping you informed ever step of the way is what everyone needs. (everyone needs a Natalie) !!!!I did speak to others in the Gosforth branch who again were super helpful sorry I can't remember everyone's names.If you are thinking of selling/buying then RMS Gosforth are the people to use.Thank you Natalie for getting my property over the line.
