GoogleAn awfully run company. Wouldn’t give keys to a rental house because tenancy agreements hadn’t been signed, yet they only sent the documents out on the day of tenancy start date! Documents that should have been sent out months in advance. Furthermore, they said they’re still confirming if deposits and rent had been paid on the tenancy start date, even though this had been paid weeks in advance. Once documents had all been signed, by tenants and guarantors (all guarantors had to sign while at work and in meetings), they then told us they couldn’t confirm from head office because they were on their lunch breaks or in meetings, leaving us waiting for several hours by the house. Tenancy start date was already pushed back by a few days, which was not even stated in the tenancy agreement and remained as the original date. Constantly chasing them up via phone calls despite them telling us they’d contact us. Thankfully the last year i’m renting a student house.

GoogleRecently used the West Denton branch to purchase a property. All staff were professional & helpful, in particular Clare who went over & above expectations to secure our house purchase & constantly pushed the estate agents & Solicitors selling our property for updates etc. Clare kept us regularly updated, she's a very pleasant & professional member of staff who is very experienced., it was a pleasure meeting & getting to know Clare. Would definitely recommend & use this branch again.

Excellent service provided by Rooks Matthews Sayer, regular contact maintained, explained the whole process in detail and made sure I understood every step. Very honest about the whole process and I felt assured I was receiving the best deal and best advice. Alistair was my mortgage broker throughout the process and I could not have asked for a better service. I received regular emails and phone calls to update me about my progress, and he actioned everything in a timely manner. This was my first property I was purchasing, and they helped make the process simple and efficient.

GoogleA great big thanks to Leah and James at RMS Hexham who went above and beyond with patience and professionalism to make purchasing my little cottage a smooth process. Solicitors were another story, but at every stage RMS were available to advise and assist as appropriate to facilitate the process even when everyone else involved was getting frustrated with waiting for solicitor reports, the staff at RMS were on hand with incredible customer service. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy or sell with them and wasn’t surprised when I went to their office and saw the awards on their window display. Well deserved!

Awful service from the west Denton office. No communication from anyone - still waiting on call backs and contact from anyone, there were several properties I had to continually chase to get a viewing booked in.

Dear Niamh, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're genuinely sorry to learn that your experience with our West Denton office did not meet your expectations, and we appreciate the opportunity to respond. We would like to clarify a few points mentioned in your review: All four viewings were arranged within a few days of your initial interest however please note that in every case, we must first obtain the vendor’s confirmation and availability before offering viewing times, which can sometimes cause a slight delay in getting back to you. On the day of completion, Claire was in the office and informed you when the keys were available for collection. While the call came later in the afternoon, she did offer to stay beyond closing time if needed. You confirmed this wasn’t necessary, as you had already received a set of keys directly from the seller and were happy to collect the spare key the following day, which you did. Frustratingly, Solicitors do not always notify estate agents immediately once completion has taken place, we must wait for their confirmation before releasing keys to ensure everything has been finalised correctly. In regard to your request for a final viewing prior to completion, unfortunately, due to illness, the follow-up was missed as it had gone directly to a staff member's inbox who was unexpectedly off. We sincerely apologise for that oversight. We regret that your overall impression was not the level of service we strive for and we will take your comments on board as we continue to improve our service. Thank you again for your feedback, and we wish you all the best in your new home.
