Awful Tenant service

It was a short term let to cover a period we could not move home. The Check in was rushed and items missed, that on the check in were used to extract money from our deposit. Faulty items on check in that were picked out were promised to be fixed and never were, and the agent has hidden behind the fact the person dealing with us on check in has left and so 'cannot comment on something that was promised by his predecessor.Arrogant, cocky and unpleasant to deal with. Would advise not to rent through them.

This is not a good agent I

This is not a good agent I would advise prospective tenants and landlords to stay away from them. They remind me of little Apprentice candidates in there Top Man suits with that awful I am a ruthless little businessman attitude . They try to intimidate with faux law, when you ask them what law they are referring too they do not know. Jessica does not have a friendly persona she talks in a monosyllabic abrupt way. It is not hard to be warm and friendly.

We used Parkers for the sale of our property in Tilehurst. Simon Gregory and the team were fantastic throughout. When our buyer fell through (through no fault of Parkers), Simon worked tireless to find a new buyer so we could stay in the same chain. Simon coordinated with everyone in the chain and made sure everything went to plan. He kept us informed every step of the way, often replying to emails late at night. During the final few days when things were getting stressful for us, Simon was always on the end of the phone or email making sure we knew exactly what was happening. We looked for a house in Chinnor for several months & have finally (subject to formalities) found somewhere. Estate agents often get a 'bad press' so it is only fair to say that our dealings with Parkers were excellent. Their communication & timekeeping were excellent. I have rented with a few

I have rented with a few agencies before I bought my house and Parkers was the worst in an average low quality community. I was not happy with them during the tenure of my contract but the worst came when I told them I was not renewing. We agreed they could bring people to see the house during the week but I would need notice if they wanted to bring anybody on the weekeend. First Saturday I was sleeping ans was woken up by a family of stranger in my bedroom. They probably were more embarassed that I was; not the agent who just told me the contract allowed him to do it and did not care to apologise. The worst came when I left the house and asked for my deposit back. They just ignored me and said the landord was going to contact me, this never happened and i spent months (at least three) calling Parkers with no result. They ended up being rude and disgusting but never helped or showed any empathy. I finally managed to reach the landor (by pure chance) and told him about the situation. He apoligised to me several times and told me he had already given the deposit money to the agent months ago. He assured he was going to speak to them immediately. A few days later the mone was in my account but I nver had a call or email from Parkers apologising or explaining the facts. To sum up: avoid them. They should be out of the market
