Really shocked by the overall experience. Luke Dixon is running a business of lies and dishonesty. They will withhold information, refuse to acknowledge harm, refuse to improve and if you explain the issues they add you to a blacklist and tell all the sellers not to accept offers from you. They cost us getting a great property, and told the seller we were not of good character. Disgusted and insulted, looking for legal advice against them now. No care for disabilities either.

Parker’s were fantastic during our house sale and house purchase - Parker’s sold our house the day it went on the market and we were amazingly able to move in just 10 weeks after offering. The whole process was very smooth, lots of communication and a lovely team overall at Parker’s. Emma and Chanelle had regular contact with us and chased solicitors regularly and kept us up to date. They were both very helpful. Luke was also great and there at any point if we needed him. Overall a fantastic experience and would highly reccomend.

Hello, if you don't like reading long reviews, please just take my word that Parkers are amazing and you should 100% go with them. Parkers have been great from the very start, Theo was the one to show myself and my partner around our home. He is very kind and helpful, he happily answered any questions that we had. Then when we booked the second viewing he kept the same kind attitude. He's very professional and helpful. After we made an offer on our home Luke was looking after us and straight away you could tell that he knows what he is talking about. He has many years of experience and he guided me in the right direction. I believe he had a big influence on us getting our offer accepted, I will never forget the feeling I had when he told me. Chanelle kept in touch regularly, checking in on the progress of the purchase and always replied to my emails in a timely manner also very helpful. We have dealt with many Estate Agents while on the hunt for our home and non of them even come close to how amazing Parkers have been. Highly recommend. Big thank you to the amazing team that dealt with us.

I’ve got to say, buying a house through this estate agency has been one of the most frustrating experiences I’ve ever had. From the very beginning the communication was poor. You’d ring them and nobody would get back to you, emails would sit unanswered for days, and when you did finally manage to speak to someone you’d get a different answer every time. We were months into the process thinking everything was moving along nicely, paying for surveys, solicitors, mortgage arrangements, the lot, only to suddenly find out there were serious issues with the property that the agency apparently already knew about. Instead of being upfront about it, they just kept things ticking along as if nothing was wrong, while we kept spending money. By the time the truth came out we were already well out of pocket and completely drained by the whole thing. What really wound me up was the attitude when we raised our concerns. Rather than taking any responsibility, they brushed it off like it was just “one of those things” that happens when you’re buying a house. No proper apology, no effort to make things right, nothing. Buying a home is stressful enough as it is, but you’d expect the estate agent to actually help the process along. Instead it felt like we were constantly chasing them, trying to get straight answers. Honestly, the whole experience left a really bad taste. I wouldn’t be in a rush to deal with them again, and I’d definitely tell others to be careful before using them.

We highly recommend Parkers Newbury, they took care of all of our viewings giving us feedback after each one , whenever we had a question Parkers were quick to respond using the groups WhatsApp messaging app. We were also impressed with the kindness and professionalism that they have shown. Parkers went above and beyond to ensure our sale went through promptly. Additionally, they supported us until the very end and exceeded our expectations by phoning myself and my husband personally to congratulate our family on our swift move.

When my sister died of cancer at 55 last year, I was unfamiliar with the Newbury market, having moved to Cheltenham in 2006. I contacted 3 local agents. Parkers particularly kept in touch during the probate period when I could not sell the house but not in a pushy manner. Luke's ensuing valuation visit and explanation of their sales and marketing was the most impressive and I certainly did not regret my decision. 15 viewings within the first 3 days of the house going to market and 2 proceedable full asking price offers within a week! And that wasn't because the price was low ball-it was the highest valuation of the 3 agents in fact. The WhatsApp group that Parkers created with me as admin was very useful for updates and they kept me informed right through to exchange. I cannot recommend Luke, Simon, Melissa and the team highly enough!

Theo and Melissa covered constant viewings, a minimum of two a day and in under 2 weeks I had an offer I accepted. I was absolutely chuffed when I met Ken (Newbury/Thatcham branch) as he is exactly how I wish all EAs were: polite, friendly, respectful (both to me and the tenant in the house I was viewing), honest and personable. Absolutely no hard selling or pushy tactics and simply just wants to help buyers and I assume sellers (im not one so can’t say from experience) exchange the right property for them. He’s been super helpful and speedy at finding alternative properties since my viewing and I would absolutely recommend him and Parker’s as a result to anyone / and that his boss gives him a steep raise in accordance with the well above market average service I’d very much like to purchase with Parker’s so Ken gets that commission as well as that raise

We completed on our house purchase with Parkers just before Christmas, and from the very start the team were fantastic. They had great availability for viewings and we were able to see the property quickly with Luke who was really friendly and knowledgeable. From our offer being accepted to exchange took just 5 weeks, Simon and Luke were great throughout the whole process and kept us well informed of progress from their end. Both were on hand to answer any questions we had, and quickly followed up with our seller when required. On completion day everything went super smoothly, we were able to collect our keys early and the team even dropped off a card and bottle of bubbles to welcome us to our new home! We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Parkers, and if we were to sell in Newbury we’d definitely use them in future!
