I recently sold my property with Parker’s Tilehurst and the service was fantastic from start to finish. I was always kept well informed through WhatsApp. Their marketing of my property was great, the photos along with the description were very impressive. Communication was exceptional, nothing was too much trouble, if there was a query, it was answered promptly I was always kept up to date. Once sold, communication was with Emma, who gave me an outstanding service. Not only was she very professional, she was so attentive and sympathetic when there was a couple of issues. I am truly grateful for all her hard work. So thank you to Charlie, Maddie, Imani, Ash, Danni and Emma and the rest of the team at Tilehurst. You are all amazing! 😊

Charlie and the team at Parker’s have been absolutely brilliant from start to finish. They are professional, personable and genuinely fun to deal with, which made such a difference during what can be a very stressful process. They marketed our property brilliantly, secured a quick sale and kept us informed throughout. Couldn’t recommend Parker’s more. I used them to sell my property and they were top draw from start to finish. They say moving house is stressful but after a year long transaction I wasn’t expecting it to be that stressful! Massive shout out to Emma who at times genuinely stopped me from walking away! She was great at not only progressing my sale but helping me with my own purchase with a different estate agent which was above and beyond the expectation of her! Also want to call out Charlie and his team who were great at handling potential buyers. They kept me informed on viewings but also did a great job keeping my buyer in check during the earlier stages of the transaction as well! Overall it felt like a real partnership throughout and I appreciated the support provided from all members of the team! With the amount of time and effort spent on this I genuinely don’t think they made money from the transaction and the service provided never wavered. Thanks again all can safely say wouldn’t have moved without you!

I have recently exchanged on the sale of my home using Parkers as my agent. From the very first meeting with Charlie Arrowsmith I was impressed with his sound advice and knowledge of the market. The team worked quickly to get viewings booked within 48 hours of my deciding to put the property on the market and my property was fully listed with extensive photographs on Rightmove within a fortnight. Charlie was able to recommend a solicitor who I would not hesitate to use again and he has been so helpful with a number of issues throughout the sale. There have been a few challenges along the way with my sale however communication from Emma George and Chantelle Gee has been very good indeed with a weekly update each Friday at the very least. I am so pleased I chose Parkers and would not hesitate to recommend them.

Having purchased my last property through Parkers previously, I had no hesitation using them to sell it 7 years later. An added bonus was that it turned out that Parkers were the agent for the entire chain. From the very first conversation with Maddie and her finding a buyer before my property was even marketed, to the conversations with Charlie about offers on my property as well as my offers on my purchase, followed by Emma's capable hands dealing with solicitors, buyers, and sellers, I cannot fault my experience. I had lots of hospital visits and operations happening during this time, but you all made me feel like nothing was ever too much trouble. Solicitors didn't always help matters, but I always felt that Emma had everything in hand - chasing for updates when needed and keeping me informed. The WhatsApp group meant queries were always dealt with quickly.... Even if it was another member of the team who jumped in to help. The whole team have been amazing, and have made what is normally a stressful process, just that little bit less stressful - and Emma's pragmatic approach certainly helped me keep perspective! Thank you Maddie, Charlie and Emma (and the rest of the team in the background!) for getting my house sold in record time, and making everything as seamless as possible - it's no surprise that Parkers Sold signs are the ones I see more than any other!

A big thank you to Daniel and his team for selling our property. When I first came to market, I tried two well known traditional ‘premium’ agents and was on the market for 15 months, with no success. Daniel from Parkers Prestige got in touch to say he could help and from our first chat I felt like we were dealing with a different standard of company and agent. I initially brought Parkers Prestige on alongside one of the other ‘premium’ agents and the improvement in quality of the photography, virtual tours and social media videos compared to what had been done previously was considerable. However, it was the level of service and communication from Daniel that blew me away and within a matter of weeks we removed the listing with the other agent and just had Parkers Prestige representing us. In all, the process from launch to completion with Parkers Prestige took just over 6 months; Daniel generated 15 viewings, gave us instant feedback via WhatsApp on each and was great at communicating further constructive feedback thereafter. Daniel was always on hand on his mobile through the marketing and sales progression stage; his proactive management, experienced hand and calm manner made what could have been a stressful process as smooth as it could have been. I wish I could find this level of customer service with every company I work with!

Mixed dealings with Parker’s. The team seem helpful, but when I started a purchase from them I found out from my legal team that they’d advertised a property at freehold when it wasn’t. The sale then fell through. Fortunately, the purchasing process for the same property has started up again, so we shall see where it leads this time. But, a little more focus of due diligence and dotting the i’s and crossing the t’s may have saved me a considerable amount of money.

Awful service. My retired mother was looking to rent a property. She found one that had been on the market since January, well priced and below the LHA (Local Housing Allowance). Spoke to Ben and asked for a viewing. They just kept on about her Annual Income which is not a true reflection of affordability given that she claims Housing Benefit on top of her pension. We even offered a very credit worthy Guarantor. Ben said he would "ask the landlord" and get back to us. But it seemed clear they were just fobbing us off. No wonder the property has been up for rent since January. My mother had been in contact with this agency on at least 3 occasions and never heard anything back. So unless your a millionaire I wouldn't bother!

Buyers perspective: Excellent service with prompt response times and high levels of professionalism. Emma and Chanelle were really great with correspondence for the latter part of the process all the way up to exchange, and both were really friendly. Maddie and Elena were also really helpful at the viewing/ offer stage. Had all kinds of contacts recommended from Parkers (e.g Solicitors, Surveyors) which was ideal. Parkers of Tilehurst recently sold my parent's house and they have been excellent throughout the process, providing updates at every stage along the way. The photographs, supporting videos with commentary and drone footage used to market the property were all of a very high quality. Parkers were very confident the property would be sold within 1 month of being marketed and an offer was made 2 weeks from going ‘live’. All the staff at Parkers have been very responsive to my enquiries and very pleasant to deal with. They always made me aware of the viewings and ensured the house was fully secure after each one. My parents bought the property from Parkers 48 years ago, so it’s very fitting that it’s been sold by them again. We bought our new house and sold our house through parkers. We sold in a week!! Couldnt have been happier. From valuation, to sale and then to completion, everyone at parkers have been helpful, friendly and approachable. The sale and purchase hasnt been simple, and everyone probably cant wait to see the back of me, but as i said they have all been great. Charlie valued our house, and dealt with the sale and the purchase, talking to our buyers and the sellers of our new house , he dealt with the negotiations on both sides and got us a fair price. Thanks to everyone at the Tilehurst Parkers office for all their help and support in selling my Dad’s home. It’s never easy selling a home, more so when you are doing it at a distance and there are several family members involved but Parkers have helped us through every step of the way. They have been thoroughly professional and prompt to respond when we’ve needed it. They have lived up to the sales pitch with effective marketing and on going support, helping us with contractors where needed. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. The house was originally sold to my parents by Parker’s more than 60 years ago. Dad was very pleased that they were still just as reliable.
