Buying your first home can be really daunting, right from the start, Michelle was brilliantly reassuring and available whenever I had any questions. Michelle kept me up to date at every stage, and would often explain things to me that my solicitor should have! I wouldn't hesitate to use Moginie James again, and I've already recommended them to friends, particularly because of Michelle's great service.

Moginie James made finding the right house so much easier than the other estate agents we spoke to. Michelle made the process of buying the house as simple as it could be. We lost one house due to another estate agent not communicating with us, this is not the case with Michelle. We were kept in the loop all the way through to collecting the keys.

A big thank you to Jayne from the Sales Progression Board at Moginie James in Cardiff. Once my offer on the house was accepted, Jayne took charge of the completion process. She was very professional from beginning to end and was in full control of throughout the whole process. She was always on hand to answer any questions I had and ensured queries were dealt with quickly. Buying a property is a very stressful business but with Jayne in charge the process was extremely smooth.

Jayne did not act for me, I was a purchaser and so she was acting for the sellers/vendors. Jayne was easy to get hold of, always called back when she said she would, made sensible suggestions, was very professional, kept the process moving, chased parties (including financial advisors, solicitors of both parties) without prompting, and made the transaction go far quicker and smoother than it otherwise would have. After dealing with Jayne and seeing was an asset she was to her clients, I would definitely instruct her in the future when I come to sell.

We were supported through the whole process from beginning, during and after completion. Our requirements were listened to and we were only sent notifications of properties that fitted our requirements. We were regularly contacted via e mail and telephone as to how the sale was progressing and in this way we were able to sort out any needs quickly. This meant that we completed on time. Lisa, at this particular branch, handled my partner and I's mortgage. If, like me, you have a limited knowledge of mortgages and interest rates and all those documents and calculations only add to the confusion, Lisa is great! Lisa guided us through each step, bit by bit, thoroughly explaining each section and breaking it down so that it was easy to understand. As our first buy this has not only furthered our understanding but built our confidence that it can be a lot more manageable than we first predicted. We are now, even more, excited and looking forward to moving into our first home together.

My partner and I viewed at least a dozen properties with Moginie James throughout 2015 and 2016, as well as many others with agents in central Cardiff. We always looked forward to viewing a Moginie James property as we knew we'd get friendly and helpful advice without feeling pressured. They were by far the best and most professional agents we came across in Cardiff. Although we eventually bought a house outside Cardiff we are very grateful for all the help that Moginie James gave us over the past year or so.

I recently bought my first flat with the team and they couldn't have been more helpful. Clare showed us around a flat i had booked to view, which was nice, however I wasn't mad about it. Clare had all the information on the flat to hand and we had a good viewing. At the end Clare did mention there was another flat for sale in the next block and would i like to see it, which I did. I instantly thought this is the flat for me. Clare was so helpful with the initial set up of putting an offer in. This is when Jayne took over. She was always in contact throughout the week keeping me informed of what was happening, what I could do to speed things up, and answering any questions I had. The whole process went smoothly and the final day of collecting the keys Clare couldn't have been happier for me in the branch and I felt that. Thank you to Clare, Jayne and the whole team for their help, I am now a homeowner and a happy one at that!

Everyone who i've spoken to from booking the viewing, making an offer, receiving the 'congratulations your offer has been accepted' phone call, and guidance i'm receiving with my next steps has been exemplary. As a first time buyer, the whole process is so daunting, but Cat and her colleagues in the Albany Road branch has made everything so much easier. The team has been so patient and accommodating with my questions. They're always happy to help and respond very, very quickly to my emails. I'm also never ringing for very long before they answer the phone. I'd spoken to a few other estate agents on my quest to find my perfect first home, and the service from Moline James really does stand out. I'd definitely recommend them to friends and family, and wouldn't hesitate to use them again!
