View AgentsProfesional, knowledgable advice and great service
Having worked with Demitris at Martyn Gerrard for locating my new rental property on Kentish Town, I would have to say that the overall service and experience was extremely positive. The online process for contracts and refernces ensured the process moved quickly whilst I was travelling with work and Demitris was on hand to assist promptly and personally assisted when an issue came up to ensure the move happened on the agreed day. Overall, very pleased with the experience and would recommend Demitris to any prospective tenant or landlord.

When I was looking at flats 18 months ago, the estate agent I spoke to was knowledgable, allowed me to view a number of properties and gave me the space to make my own decision on which flat to rent without pressurising me into a decision. Martin Gerrard is also my Letting Management company. They are very friendly and are always quick to respond to any issues in the flat if and when they arise.

In 15 years I had numerous contacts with the agency. The contacts were usually linked to small or not so small inconveniences which can make life quite difficult. Many contacts mean many names, Emplyees' names. Some are still present, others moved on. The common denominator was professionalism. The problem was always solvable, The solution was always close in time and space. The promise was always kept. The routine check ups were well organised, giving me choice and ample space to find a slot in my diary. I knew, after a short while into the tenancy, that I can get quick, informed and competent advice from Martin Gerard, that I can rely on them and that they will observe my interests. I would suggest the words competence and respect to become part of the agency's logo.

I had to leave my Flat within 3 weeks and was desperate to find something nice in my area. Eva constantly called me with suggestions and even set up a meeting with a prospective Landlord whom she thought would match . Eva listened carefully to my unusual flat requirements due to my cultural needs, and eva took those on board with her search on my behalf. Nick Teare, the Lettings Manager based in North London, is an absolute credit to the Martyn Gerrard brand. He was on time, courteous, professional and explained everything thoroughly during the viewing. He responded to our urgent needs very swiftly and ensured that a very tight deadline was met. He was extremely efficient with the paperwork and took the stress out of our urgent housing need. Nick is head and shoulders above any other lettings manager that I have dealt with personally and professionally – I should know because I insure many property and letting agents!

I was contacted by the agent following an online property search. Despite the property not being up on the website, I was invited to view the property. The initial arrangement fell through because the existing tenant did not turn up, but Martyn Gerrard arranged for a viewing later that week and I put down a holding deposit that day. The agent then guided me through the very easy and efficient paperwork phase and I was able to start my tenancy within a fortnight. I was very impressed with the service and speed with which my application was processed. I would highly recommend Martyn Gerrard to any prospective tenants.

Martyn Gerrard were excellent at finding & arranging for us to rent our new home; Their staff were extremely fast & thorough, so we wasted no time, They understood our requirements & presented the perfect property, arranging an ideal alternative overnight, when the original apartment was withdrawn. Post-moving support was available too, as we settled in to the new environment. I couldn't recommend them more highly.

Andrew was very helpful in assisting our payments / forms for the move. He knew how much we wanted to secure the apartment and facilitated everything smoothly for us. After the payments were made, there was an occasional dip in communication but otherwise he was brilliant and we got the apartment we sought.

My partner and I had been looking for our first flat together for a few weeks before we found Martyn Gerrard. I was immediately impressed with their excellent customer service and willingness to help. As we didn't know the area (East Finchley), the staff gave us a great outline on what prices to expect and made us feel very comfortable in their hands. In particular, Ryan Rainford (Lettings Negotiator) went out of his way to help us find a great property. He (and all the staff) were so helpful and friendly, and as a bonus, their fees are a lot less than all the estate agents we went to. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend them.
