We recently sold our property through Mannings, also purchasing our new property through them as well at the same time, and have been very pleased with the level of service provided from start to finish. I’ve always been kept updated regularly and the team couldn’t have done more to make sure the sale and purchase both completed as soon as possible, doing it all in a friendly and proactive way and being quick to reply and complete any actions they needed to do. The last few weeks were particularly stressful due to some complications which arise further up the chain at the last minute so would like to say a big thank you to everyone for their help, in particular James and Owen who have been fantastic and a real credit to the company, chasing up solicitors and helping to coordinate things up and down the chain. I would definitely use Mannings again in the future if we move house and would recommend them to anyone looking to sell their property (or to buy a property listed with them).

We can’t thank Alex enough for his incredible support and efficiency after we experienced water damage in January. Very poor service. They rented me a house with broken furniture and the new furniture provided was of very low quality. No curtains provided even though curtains were visible on photos shown. No Microwave provided even though rented as furnished. Carpet in the room was never professionally cleaned before we moved in. Dirt kept falling from chimney inside the living room and nothing was done about it for a year even though the issue was reported a few times. Hot water in the shower was also a problem which was never fully resolved.

As a fair landlord, I firmly believe it's unnecessary and unjustifiable for this company to charge tenants up to 23% of a month's rent plus VAT for simply nothing. They are not an insurance provider, and their services are identical to those of the DPS adjudicator. Save your money, pay your deposit directly, and you'll be assured of getting it back at the end of your tenancy if you adhere to your contractual obligations.
