GoogleThis is a small local office which offers a really personalised service. We dealt with Kyle Guy, he knew us and our purchase and we always felt he could give us an update without having to consult notes etc. We've worked with several local agents in recent years and have felt most comfortable with these guys. They are a very approachable relational team.

Our journey started with Nathan and Naz, who were both helpful, responsive and kept the sales process moving from our first viewing through to our offer being accepted. Once we were under offer, Lisa took over and did a fantastic job managing the sale; keeping us updated at every stage, liaising with the seller on our behalf, and helping resolve queries quickly so nothing held things up. Jan then picked things up seamlessly while Lisa was on leave and saw us through to exchange, staying just as communicative and on top of things throughout. The whole team were very personable and made what can be a stressful process feel well managed and straightforward. Would definitely recommend JNP to anyone buying or selling. Thank you all!

GoogleI recently used Manning Stainton in Armley to sell my house. It was an emotional experience for me, but my point of contact, Sabrina, was absolutely amazing throughout. I asked so many questions, but she always replied quickly and never made me feel silly for asking. She was also great at letting me know when she was going on annual leave and who would be covering for her, so I was never left in the dark. I honestly can’t recommend Sabrina and her compassionate approach enough.

GoogleWe were using an different estate agents previously with very little interest and a lot of frustration however once we moved it over to Manning Stainton the interest was much better. Chloe Redhead and her team were fantastic with everything from viewings to chasing feedback and keeping us updated on everything! Would 100% recommend!

GooglePoor experience as a tenant Our experience with Manning Stainton's property management over the 3 years we rented through them was disappointing. We understand that their role is to represent the landlord's interests, but we often felt this came at the expense of treating tenants fairly and reasonably. The main issues we experienced were: - At the end of our initial 1 year tenancy, we were asked to accept a rent increase of £170 per month (21%!) to renew our agreement. Although we negotiated this down to a 12.5% increase, it was still above the local market rate. This left us feeling that the initial rent was set to attract tenants before being increased significantly after the first year. - It took more than 6 months for a broken and dangerous back gate to be replaced and removed, despite us reporting it numerous times. - At the end of our tenancy, £395 was deducted from our deposit, which was a surprise as we had consistently received positive feedback during property inspections. £300 of this was for gardening, which involved mowing a small front lawn, trimming a few shrubs and weeding a paved back garden. We felt this charge was excessive for the amount of work involved, but they weren't willing to accept our counter-offer. Based on our experience, we would not recommend renting through Manning Stainton as we felt that charges and costs were prioritised over treating tenants fairly.
