GoogleWould never rent or buy a property from this dreadful and dire company. Moved into a house in Mablethorpe last year and was told by two different members of staff that the house was really unclean. We moved in, cleaned the property thoroughly and within weeks, noticed that the property had rats and several other issues. We kept reporting things and it would take ages to get sorted. We handed in our notice and ended up losing our deposit. How is this acceptable?

GoogleI was shown around three properties by Sharon, who was punctual, professional, and friendly throughout the process. She was extremely helpful when discussing the offers I made and took the time to answer any questions I had. Sharon followed up the next day to ensure I was still comfortable with my offer and to check whether I needed any further information. She also promised regular weekly updates and has been very easy to contact whenever needed. So far, I have been very impressed with the excellent level of service and communication provided.

GoogleJames and the whole team really were exceptional in every way from start to finish. I was kept informed along the way and nothing was too much trouble. I would truly recommend Lovelle as the best estate agent in Grimsby, both pre and post sale! James was both professional and friendly at the same time and took the worry out of the whole process.

GoogleWe recently sold our house in North Hykeham with Lovelle at The Forum. I have to say that we have nothing but praise for all the staff at the North Hykeham branch who helped to secure a successful sale. From the very start, with Tommy valuing our house, to the very end, with Sharon and Sarah keeping us regularly updated throughout. They have all been very professional, helpful and patient and went over and above with Sharon even helping out on her days off which was most kind of her. GoogleHighly recommend. The team at Lovelles estate agency were EXCEPTIONAL!. They were with me every step of the way from offering on a property to collecting the keys. They were faultless throughout. The team are super friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. House buying is a stressful process but they made it super simple, explaining each step and ensuring I was updated throughout. I now wouldn’t use any other estate agent.

GoogleIf i can give 0 start Please be extremely careful and do your research before renting a property here, especially before paying a deposit. In my experience, the rental process lacked transparency and was unnecessarily difficult. I was not allowed to inspect the entire property before renting it, and the move-in inspection and condition report were neither clear nor complete. I have also read many reviews from people reporting similar issues. Make sure you inspect the whole property, take photos or videos of its condition, read the contract carefully, and get every agreement in writing before paying a deposit.

Google1 star My experience renting through Lovelle has been extremely disappointing. From the beginning, I felt that important issues with the property were not dealt with properly or quickly enough. Some repairs were delayed, and when work was eventually carried out, I felt that some of it was only dealt with superficially rather than properly resolving the underlying problem. When I raised concerns or asked for repairs, I often felt that I was being passed back and forth between the agent and the landlord instead of being given a clear solution. Communication became frustrating and unnecessarily stressful. The property itself was already old and had a number of issues when I moved in. I also experienced unpleasant smells in the house which had not been made clear to me before taking the tenancy. I was also disappointed with the viewing and check-in process. In my experience, I did not feel I had a proper opportunity to fully inspect everything again before committing, and the photographs and information provided did not show the full condition of the property. What made the experience worse was the way deposit deductions were handled at the end of the tenancy. Despite the property already being old and worn in a number of areas, almost all of the deposit was taken. I found this extremely unfair and frustrating. I accept that tenants are responsible for genuine damage they cause, but I believe pre-existing age, wear and condition should be properly taken into account. Overall, I found the whole experience stressful, disappointing and not what I expected from a professional letting agency. I would strongly advise future tenants to take their own detailed photographs and videos of every room, wall, fitting, garden area and any smells or damp issues before moving in, and to keep all communication in writing. Sadly, after my experience, I would not choose to rent through this agency again. Goodbye.
