If i can give 0 start Please be extremely careful and do your research before renting a property here, especially before paying a deposit. In my experience, the rental process lacked transparency and was unnecessarily difficult. I was not allowed to inspect the entire property before renting it, and the move-in inspection and condition report were neither clear nor complete. I have also read many reviews from people reporting similar issues. Make sure you inspect the whole property, take photos or videos of its condition, read the contract carefully, and get every agreement in writing before paying a deposit.

1 star My experience renting through Lovelle has been extremely disappointing. From the beginning, I felt that important issues with the property were not dealt with properly or quickly enough. Some repairs were delayed, and when work was eventually carried out, I felt that some of it was only dealt with superficially rather than properly resolving the underlying problem. When I raised concerns or asked for repairs, I often felt that I was being passed back and forth between the agent and the landlord instead of being given a clear solution. Communication became frustrating and unnecessarily stressful. The property itself was already old and had a number of issues when I moved in. I also experienced unpleasant smells in the house which had not been made clear to me before taking the tenancy. I was also disappointed with the viewing and check-in process. In my experience, I did not feel I had a proper opportunity to fully inspect everything again before committing, and the photographs and information provided did not show the full condition of the property. What made the experience worse was the way deposit deductions were handled at the end of the tenancy. Despite the property already being old and worn in a number of areas, almost all of the deposit was taken. I found this extremely unfair and frustrating. I accept that tenants are responsible for genuine damage they cause, but I believe pre-existing age, wear and condition should be properly taken into account. Overall, I found the whole experience stressful, disappointing and not what I expected from a professional letting agency. I would strongly advise future tenants to take their own detailed photographs and videos of every room, wall, fitting, garden area and any smells or damp issues before moving in, and to keep all communication in writing. Sadly, after my experience, I would not choose to rent through this agency again. Goodbye.

Based on my personal experience, their advice and way of working did not feel transparent, and I was not given all the necessary information before making my decision. Make sure that all fees, conditions, and promises are clearly stated in writing, and review the contract carefully before making any payment. Foreign clients should be especially cautious, as language barriers and unfamiliarity with local regulations may put them at a disadvantage. This review reflects my personal experience and opinion.

Dealt with Lovelle a fair amount over the years and it’s always been good service. However recently I’m not sure if there has been changes but the dynamic seems to be even better with the team and you can tell they all really get on. I’d like to especially give props to Karen and Mason as there has never been a point where their energy fails to prevail through the phone and no request is ever too much. I think Mason might be new and he seems a great chirpy chap. I will always recommend Lovelle to my family and friends and will continue to use them for any future needs.

I have recently sold two properties with Lovelle Estate Agency in Lincoln in June/July of this year, (2022). Dealing with the staff in the Lincoln office, primarily Liam and Natasha, plus Anya and latterly Kerri, I found them to be extremely friendly, helpful and professional. There was an issue with one of my properties, however, everyone should have a, 'Kerri', in their corner, as she took the pressure off me and dealt with the situation impeccably!
