Google⭐☆☆☆☆ My experience with JW Woods Estate Agents has been extremely disappointing. I raised serious concerns about the property, including damage that was already present before I moved in, issues with the electricity and gas accounts being in debt, and ongoing problems with an inconsiderate and disruptive neighbour. I provided evidence, including photographs showing the condition of the property before I moved in, but I felt my concerns were not properly listened to or taken seriously. The response I received from the estate agents was extremely disappointing and left me feeling that my situation had not been handled with the professionalism, fairness, and care I expected. I was also concerned that my communications did not receive a response until I followed up, and I was left with the impression that my concerns were not being treated seriously. During my tenancy, I experienced behaviour from the landlord that I found deeply upsetting, including comments that I felt mocked my disabilities, my religious practices, and my use of phrases such as “wallahi”. I found this disrespectful and distressing. I also want to add that this estate agent appears to have a staff member who has made deeply offensive comments on LinkedIn about an Egyptian man and his Muslim beliefs. I am also concerned about the staff member’s association with a company director who has allegedly made repeated racist comments about Islam. I believe this behaviour raises serious questions about the standards and values of the people representing this business, and I hope the matter is properly investigated. A tenant should feel safe, respected, and supported in their own home. Unfortunately, my experience left me feeling intimidated, dismissed, and without confidence that my concerns were being handled appropriately. Based on my experience, I would not recommend JW Woods Estate Agents.

GoogleThe service from the initial contact with Claire was excellent who explained the different options of the inspection process. The surveyor report was thorough, clear and easy to read. The surveyor identified some critical issues and included some clear guidance within the report. Communication via email and phone were answered quickly. The inspection happened on time with a full detailed report available within 48hours. Overall a very good service.

GoogleCan’t thank Julie L and the team enough for all the support with paperwork whilst purchasing our new home. We had unusual complications with ID checks , however we got there in the end. What a fantastic team who clearly communicate with each as every time I phoned everyone knew the problem and were sympathetic .The team then offered a solution and made the process easier for us as we are living 80 miles away in our holiday home. Thanks everyone I would certainly recommend you all for sale and purchase to Friends and Family in the future. Looking forward to getting in our forever home in a few months after being homeless since May due to our sale 🥂🎉😬

My experience with this letting agency and the tenancy was extremely disappointing. I raised serious concerns about my safety, the landlord's conduct, and my treatment during the tenancy. These included an incident where I believe the landlord attempted to enter my home without my permission, unresolved repair issues, and concerns that left me feeling intimidated and unsafe. During our interactions, I also felt mocked because of my Muslim faith. The landlord scoffed when I said "Wallahi" and appeared to mock me for praying. I also raised concerns about comments relating to my disability, religion, and veteran status. These experiences were deeply upsetting and contributed to a complete breakdown in trust. When I contacted the letting agency, I expected my concerns to be taken seriously. Instead, I was informed that they had acted on a "tenant-find only" basis and would not investigate, directing me back to the landlord. I also found it disappointing that, despite signing my complaint with my full name, Yusuf Ali Hussein, I was not addressed by my name in their response, which added to my feeling that my concerns were not being treated with appropriate care. I also want to add that this estate agent appears to have a staff member who has made deeply offensive comments on LinkedIn about an Egyptian man and his Muslim beliefs. I am also concerned about the staff member’s association with a company director who has allegedly made repeated racist comments about Islam. I believe this behaviour raises serious questions about the standards and values of the people representing this business, and I hope the matter is properly investigated. The ongoing management of the tenancy sits with the landlord directly, and concerns about that side of things are best raised with them using the details in your tenancy agreement. If you feel you're at risk, please don't hesitate to contact the emergency services, and you may also wish to seek independent housing or legal advice regarding the tenancy itself. We're sorry this hasn't been the experience it should have been, and we'd like the opportunity to put things right where we can.
