Following my original review

Following my original review, I provided additional evidence including Uber earnings records and bank statements to support the income declared on my application. The tenancy ultimately did not proceed because the landlord required a successful Goodlord referencing outcome. However, after reviewing the evidence, JWW agreed to refund the holding deposit in full. The process was frustrating at times, particularly due to delays and conflicting communication regarding the holding deposit. However, I appreciate that the matter was eventually reviewed by management and resolved, and the refund has now been received. Thank you to Ashley Mitchell for taking the time to review the case and bring it to a conclusion.

Our primary contact, Andrew Oates went above and beyond to close our rental agreement. New rules and inevitable new processes mean that everyone involved is treading new ground, and it takes time. We recently sold our home and bought our new one through DKH Estate Agents, and I can’t recommend them highly enough. Ben oversaw everything from start to finish and managed the entire process with professionalism and care, nothing was ever too much trouble. Joshua efficiently handled all the viewings, so we didn’t have to worry, and Hannah was excellent at making sure everything went smoothly from the sale agreement through to exchange and completion. From the very start, Ben and Joshua were a delight to deal with. They were approachable, friendly, and did everything they could to secure a buyer for my home. After nearly a year of stress, delays, and a very long property journey, we finally completed on our new home this Monday, and I honestly can’t thank the team at DKH Rickmansworth enough. What makes this even more impressive is that they weren’t even my estate agents, they were acting for the sellers. Yet throughout the entire process, Josh, Hannah, and Beth treated me with the same care, communication, and professionalism as if I were their own client. There were times during this move where things became incredibly frustrating, but DKH were always helpful, responsive, reassuring, and genuinely seemed to care about getting the move over the line for everyone involved. I dealt with various members of staff, Gary, Ella and Luci and they were good at keeping me up to date with progress. If I had one slight frustration its that if you call the office it seems to always go to a voicemail - but emails are always answered promptly as an alternative.

Organisation is a mess.

I applied for a letted property I specifically stated on the online form that I couldn’t attend on Friday for viewing before 12:30pm due to work. 5 days prior to the viewing I received an appointment to attend at 10:30….I phoned a few hours later to rearrange an appointment they stated 1pm and I agreed. I received an email a few hours later to say the colleague couldn’t make so they will push it back to 2pm instead. Okay no problem. The next day I received another email stated their colleague couldn’t make it for 2pm so they would push it back to 3pm. The day of my appointment arrives I knock on the door nobody is there so I phoned the office to be told my appointment was 2:30!! I never received any correspondence stating that time! Eventually Megan turned up. She was professional and friendly and apologetic, but their organisation is a joke I will think twice before applying for JW Wood.

The whole team at DKH Ricky were fantastic in helping us secure our home after a 3 year house hunt. Ben was supportive and informative throughout the offering process, and once our offer was accepted, Hannah in the sales progression team was so proactive with solicitors on both sides to make sure everything moved along as quickly and smoothly as possible. Their help and expertise meant the sale went through as early as it could have done and their communication throughout was fantastic. During the sales process, Josh was so helpful and accommodating in showing us around the property as we made plans for renovations, and we felt like the whole team couldn't do enough to help.
