Staff members making disgusting comments about people's faith and ethnicity online Now claiming they unaware when I spoke to the owner or manager sent the relevant documents etc and explained who it was and screenshots yhen have the gall to delete my Google review claiming I never dealt with the consett office whene and family members had go there multiple times as they ironically whinged about keys when they in return didn't have keys ready when I had laid for van for removals worst eatse agents o have dealt with and their reply below proves this when they already said they was looking into it so they obviously don't care about their staff member being abusive about Egyptians... Also the one in question and another have blocked me on LinkedIn I would of screen shot it and sent to you and obviously you have misplaced so much for taking it seriously and she would be spoke to etc.... Looked for hours just now I'm sure it's the lady from Darlington who said it but she has blocked me so I can't view her sickening posts she's also friends with an obvious RW guy and you know who I'm talking about as gave the name and such like so much for taking it seriously and looking into it...

Tracy came to value the house, Denise and Julie were in contact at the beginning dealing with viewings and offers, then Dawn took over the account and was my constant support till the end… couldnt have wished for a better experience… 100 percent recommend for any one moving. Our primary contact, Andrew Oates went above and beyond to close our rental agreement. New rules and inevitable new processes mean that everyone involved is treading new ground, and it takes time. All of the JWW staff with whom we came into contact were polite and attentive and we are happily settling in to our new home.

GoogleWe have recently listed our home for sale and we had Joe from Consett branch come and do the evaluation and then to take the photos of the property, he was very friendly, made everything so easy, and we have now sold our home after one viewing and it being on the market less than a week! Lovely young man!

GoogleAs a property developer, I recently invited Martyn Hunter from JW Wood to value one of my properties and, given the company’s reputation and presence in the area, I was expecting a much stronger proposition. Unfortunately, I came away disappointed. The valuation provided was around £20,000 higher than three other local agents who had independently valued the same property. What concerned me more was the suggestion that if the property hadn’t sold within around 6, 8 weeks, the price could then be reduced. For me, that raised questions over the initial pricing strategy. I was looking for an accurate, evidence-led valuation designed to achieve the best result within a sensible timeframe not an ambitious figure at the outset followed by a reduction several weeks later. I was also surprised by the commercial terms. I was advised there would be upfront costs for the EPC and photography, alongside a lengthy contractual tie-in. That simply wasn’t as competitive or flexible as I had expected, particularly compared with some of the alternatives available locally. I can only comment on my own experience, but overall I expected considerably more. The combination of the significantly higher valuation, the suggestion of reducing after 6, 8 weeks, upfront marketing-related costs and the length of the agreement meant I didn’t feel confident proceeding. I ultimately chose another agent whose valuation and proposed marketing strategy felt more realistic and commercially aligned with what I was looking for.

We do not charge upfront marketing fees, and a price reduction is not something we would suggest at the valuation stage. It may be that the review relates to a different agent, or that we have not identified the property. GoogleFirst class service all round. We viewed a house that was not quite right for us. Tony showed us around and after talking he said he had somewhere else he could show us. We have had our offer accepted on that property!! We called the office and Denise has been so helpful and always available. As first time buyers we could not have asked for more and truly appreciate everything.
