GoogleSelling/Buying a home is always a very stressful experience but from start to finish, our sale was relatively smooth, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend John D Wood, Lymington. Our buyer was particularly difficult to deal with but in true professional spirit, everyone in the Lymington office did their very best to get the sale over the line. Thank you to Adam, Kevin, Amanda & Ollie, you were encouraging & positive throughout! All the best to you all.

GoogleExtremely disappointing service and business practice. after agreeing verbally on a property let, accepting an offer and taking a week rent as deposit the agents kept viewings in the property and presented another offer to the landlord. in a later stage refused even to submit another offer to beat the asking price. I am deeply disappointed in this letting agency and will not be using their services again. I have never had to deal with such rude and quite frankly, immoral values from a business before. I would give 0 stars because they do not even deserve 1 after the way me and my family have been treated.

GoogleI used John D Wood for the first time. I have been renting my property for 10+ years. I was considering one of the online agents to reduce costs. However, Will Richardson convinced me in a gentle, not a hard sell approach. I was assigned Louna on his team who was exemplary from start to finish. Everything WIll committed to was delivered and more. Not only was Louna Del Barrio in constant communication and so passionate about finding me the best tenant but also her style and ability to wait for me to come to decisions about lowering prices (vs pushing me). Plus her guidance was spot on as we secured the higher price by following her strategy around pricing to get viewings and then securing multiple offers. It was the best experience I've ever had with an estate agent. Helpful, customer centric and nothing like the stereotypical hard sell. Instead it was consultative and secured a great outcome.

Radyah Sultana at Docklands & City office, who is in charge of the paperwork, was so rude, unprofessional, dishonest and impatient. I have received passive-aggressive threats from her and had a really bad experience.We worked smoothly with Egle and David, and paid the deposit very early.However, the contract was ready only 3 days before moving in, even though all the reference checks were ready two weeks ago!I understand that Radyah was sick for a few days, but I am unhappy that she made an excuse and LIED that the reference checks were just done yesterday. Now because of her inefficiency, I have to be efficient.Well, I am a customer, and she is the god.

Horrible experience with this agency. I am currently living in a 3 bed flat in Fulham where one of the bedroom ceiling has collapsed and for last 2 months the agency has been slow, practically unresponsive and simply rude. They treat tenants with such disdain it’s shocking. Do not use this company

TrustpilotAVOID JDW AT ALL COSTS
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not subject yourself to the JDW Weybridge office if you can avoid it - they have provided easily the worst service we have ever experienced. We have been renting for 3 months in a JDW managed house. There are multiple material ongoing issues from a leaking roof to broken heating and the agent does not do anything about - for months. We have a 1 year old child who is suffering constant sickness now. They have lied to us about repair parts being ordered and have not held the landlord accountable for fixing anything. Jazz Dillon is of particular incompetence. She has promised us a call with senior management and of course, radio silence.

Alessandro Lucatello, Head of Property Management at John D Wood, does an exceptional job. He always goes above & beyond to ensure my needs & wishes - as a landlord - are met. This includes personally overseeing projects on my property - something he could easily delegate but chooses to see things through for himself. He's amazing - & so are his staff who have looked after me for many, many years now. I can't recommend John D Wood for your Property Management needs, more highly. First class - always!

Our experience has been first class and the JDW service was highly professional right from the start - realistic estimate of house value, knowledge of the local market and how to maximise our sale price and managing our anxieties and expectations throughout the whole lengthy process to completion. The team were always professional, responsive and friendly and definitely worked hard to help us achieve our sale. They managed everything - EPC, flattering professional photographs included as part of the service, all the very many viewings, right through to chasing solicitors and other parties all along the chain to achieve completion. If you are considering selling your home, then do consider calling Daniel or Wai at JDW.

GoogleThe service offered by the Property Management team is shocking. Myself and a friend rented a two bedroom property from John D Wood. We have now been in the property for over 4 months and are yet to be provided with 2 sets of functioning keys. Despite the gravity of the issue, John D Wood have not been proactive in trying to find a solution for this. The Property Management staff are unprofessional, rude and generally incompetent, especially Alessandro Lucatello and Adam Michael. John D Wood and the respective Landlord consistently denied any responsibility for the situation making it difficult, time consuming and stressful to resolve. If you do decide to rent with John D Wood, make sure you have a break clause included in your contract. Having said that, Katherine Garces is excellent, very responsive and was a real pleasure to engage with. I would not want my negative review of the Property Management team to reflect poorly on her!

GoogleAll good but Samantha Rogers, who is very unprofessional and rude. Be careful with her that she has your keys and she would assess your properties without your permission, in other words, she would trespass your properties.

GoogleWe had to find a let in a very short space of time as our builders wanted to start 2 weeks early. Emily was our contact at John D Wood and she was exceptional. Once we had found a suitable place she worked efficiently and tirelessly to get us in. Turn around was about a week, and despite a fair amount of paper work and checks we were able to move in before renovation on our house began. I would highly recommend John D Wood if you are looking for a short let. All the staff were extremely helpful.

GoogleFrom the initial valuation of my house through to completion, the whole team have been so pleasant and professional to deal with. They made me feel confident that they would provide a great service and that is exactly what they did. They were always approachable and I felt that I was able to contact them about any minor query I might have. They made the sale of my house a slick process and stress free. They were spot on with the valuation and I had full asking price offered within 8 days. I highly recommend John D Wood, and would not hesitate to use them again for a sale of my property.

GoogleI have faced multiple payment issues with this company where payments from my tenants failed to be paid to me causing me stress and costs. I therefore can not recommend this company.
