GoogleI am currently renting a house in Boelyn Cresent which is managed by Goadsby. One of the worst and most unhelpful letting agent we have experienced.. They just simply don’t consider any request and have standard response on everything. Seems this organisation doesn’t care and quality check what responses their agency’s are giving to the customers. GoogleNot great service. Initial offers were not passed on to vendors, which I now know should have been. Goadsby Not prepared to disclose details of chain, when I asked at viewing, the only estate agency I met to take this stance during viewings. Trying to say I had agreed to completion dates when I had not. Not told there is a halfway house next door, which should have been disclosed. I received vendors email address in an email chain which is against GDPR. Very cold reception when I picked up keys. Just unprofessional, unfriendly, and now considering a formal complaint.NegativeQuality, Professionalism

Emailed regarding a property heard nothing until called up and was told that due to owning a pet snake we were automatically barred from seeing the property we were hoping to see that day, on our only day off from work. A polite response would had sufficed. Also disgusting that this establishment is not leading the way in times of covid by allowing landlords to bar properties having pets that cause no property damage. I was informed that Goadby does not have to except the new Model Tenancy Agreement 2021 barring landlords from stopping tenants keeping pets especially when a high number of people have resorted to pets for mental health benefits during these troubling times. It proves this estate agent is more concerned about profit taking than demonstrating a moral high ground making way to changes to push landlords to except pets in times of greater needs.NegativeQuality

GoogleI recently rented a flat through Goadsby. I mostly dealt with Alex who was professional at all times and responded promptly to messages and e mails. This in comparison to other agencies who e.g. wanted me to sign tenancies before confirming repairs and didn't seem serious about showing me appropriate properties. As a landlord myself I know this is not how it works! I would recommend this agency to anyone searching for rental property who desires a professional and committed approach.PositiveProfessionalism
