it is so disappointing. we gave an offer that the agency said the vendor would have accepted. Then apparently the vendor wanted more because of some kind of expenses he had to pay. We gave a higher offer at condition to see a proof of these expenses. I have never hear anything from them anymore, It was a clear attempt to raise the offer. Even if someone could point the vendor, the agency was not any better. Before the offer they were calling and emailing, asking for documents, mortgage advisor, solicitors etc... Then nothing. I had to chase them all the time. And everytime I was calling I was talking with someone different with contrasting information. We gave up. They have been serious with me and they are not even good or smart sellers.

This is the 2nd time I bought a property through Freeman Forman and thoroughly recommend them . I found Helen and the team to be friendly at all times. They were always happy to accommodate visits to the property often at short notice and answered all queries in a quick time frame . Pressure was applied to both parties when required with good communication to all involved in a calm and friendly manner. I also used the solicitor services through Countrywide and thought they were excellent enabling a good communication structure between all involved . All in all very happy with the service given to what is a stressful event but which thankfully had a positive outcome . Thanks to the whole team.

Absolutely Shocking never again

Absolutely Shocking. Me and one of my friends rented a house through them a year ago! We used the uckfield branch and I can honestly say they were awful. After we both left the house it had taken them 3 months to give us our deposit back. They didn’t answer our phone calls or emails until we told them we had a letter to take them to court. Funnily enough we then got our money! I must say Janine Spofforth for a lettings manager you are awful at your job. We also felt we were taken advantage of as we are young and it was our first house. I will never use them again. Lesson learnt

Freeman foreman’s Uckfield branch is absolutely awful I do not recommend using it!! They never reply to emails or they tell you a load of lies!! It took me 3 months after leaving a property to get my deposit back and I only got it back because I mentioned taking them to court! They told me so many lies like I’ll have it in 14 hours, I’ll have it In a week, I should have already had it and the best one it was put in the wrong account and they will have it to me in an hour!! They were so awful and just never replied to emails and just kept telling me lies. I feel that because I am young and it was my first property they really took advantage of me. I am telling am my friends and family to NEVER use this branch if I could leave minus 5 stars I would!!! As they don’t even deserve one star

My fiance and I are first time buyers and had been searching for our first home for almost a year before we finally got the 'one'. We mostly used rightmove and zoopla to search for properties and so met with plenty of different estate agencies around East Sussex. We had a bad experience with one estate agent and realised how competitive and stressful putting an offer down can be. The first house we viewed with Natasha at Freeman Forman wasn't quite what we were looking for but she took notes and phoned whenever something new popped up (really useful when you have a 'to do' list of phone calls to make at lunchtime which you never end up getting around to when intended!). We felt Natasha was so patient and honest with us and when we finally found a house we were interested in we made it clear how much we loved it. We were overjoyed that our offer was accepted and Natasha shared in our excitement. She, John and Hannah continued to be so helpful throughout, all the way to completion, and answered all our inexperienced questions in such a lovely manner. They kept us in the loop constantly, putting our minds at rest at times we felt we were bordering on insanity! They say buying a house is one of the most stressful things you can do but John and Natasha made it so much easier for us. Such reliable people and a pleasure to deal with. Thank you!
