Jasmin made the whole letting process incredibly smooth and stress-free. She handled all the paperwork quickly and efficiently, keeping everything straightforward and easy to understand. Her friendly and helpful approach really stood out, and she was always available to answer any questions. I’d highly recommend her to anyone looking to let a property with confidence.

TrustpilotTheir lettings team is useless and expensive
I can’t speak to the Freeman Forman sales team but my experience with their lettings team in Heathfield was terrible. I hired them to manage a property several hours away while my late husband was ill and I couldn’t manage or visit the property myself. They charged me an exorbitant amount for this service each month and I have nothing to show for it but a trashed house in need of thousands of pounds of repairs. They let to terrible tenants who ruined the house and garden, but even worse, Freeman Forman neglected to do an end of tenancy inventory so I couldn’t keep the tenant deposit to offset the cost of repairs. One of their letting agents even admitted to me that they dropped the ball. But of course Freeman Forman did nothing to make things right for me or take any financial responsibility for their mistakes and poor service. They are either incompetent or sleazy or both. Avoid Freeman Forman lettings, it’s an expensive rip off!

The team at the Freeman Forman office in Tonbridge, Kent sold my flat. A massive thank you in particular to Megan for being brilliant throughout this process. It was really tricky with the property management company AB Canham, but throughout all this Megan was unwaveringly professional, patient, positive and reassuring and she kept the buyer engaged and on-side, preventing the chain from collapsing. GoogleMy fiance and I are first time buyers and had been searching for our first home for almost a year before we finally got the 'one'. We mostly used rightmove and zoopla to search for properties and so met with plenty of different estate agencies around East Sussex. We had a bad experience with one estate agent and realised how competitive and stressful putting an offer down can be. The first house we viewed with Natasha at Freeman Forman wasn't quite what we were looking for but she took notes and phoned whenever something new popped up (really useful when you have a 'to do' list of phone calls to make at lunchtime which you never end up getting around to when intended!). We felt Natasha was so patient and honest with us and when we finally found a house we were interested in we made it clear how much we loved it. We were overjoyed that our offer was accepted and Natasha shared in our excitement. She, John and Hannah continued to be so helpful throughout, all the way to completion, and answered all our inexperienced questions in such a lovely manner. They kept us in the loop constantly, putting our minds at rest at times we felt we were bordering on insanity! They say buying a house is one of the most stressful things you can do but John and Natasha made it so much easier for us. Such reliable people and a pleasure to deal with. Thank you!

GoogleI cannot praise these guys highly enough for their dedication, care and the general help they gave through the entire process of marketing and concluding the sale process. They were able to secure a good deal for both us and the purchaser quickly; despite complications from our side they kept us and the purchasers informed at each stage. Right through to the completion date John and Emma went way beyond what I'd expect, not only that but they are great people too. Professional to a tee. Thanks guys!

My partner and I recently viewed a rental property in Hampden Park, Eastbourne. Stephen was showing us the property and he is the BEST. I met with him a few days prior and he took all my details and immediately found us a property that fit our requirements. He answered all our questions, was very thorough, and let us have as much time as we needed inside the property. As soon as we got home, he took the time to e-mail us with a follow up. 10/10 service from Stephen and if you’re looking to rent, I 100% recommend going in and having a chat with Stephen at the Freeman Foreman office on Terminus Road. Freeman Forman Lettings in Eastbourne were happy to take the 10% management fees for 20 years when we let our property out through them, but when our tenant decided not to pay the rent anymore they were suddenly very unhelpful, they knew this was crippling us as the interest on the mortgage had shot up and with no rent coming in we were struggling.

Freeman Forman in Uckfield helped me move into my new apartment. Thank you to Anna, Jack & Janice for showing me moving house doesnt have to be stressful! I went from an aweful experience from one of their competitors to dealing with the a stress free team that always kept to their word. From the beginning of collecting my keys to the handing of them over they helped with every situation, always got back in a timely manner, and are the kindest people to deal with for moving house. The landlord was the sweetest lady, leaving me cleaning products and extra bits ready for my tenancy. They were also very understanding when I advised I would have to end my contract due to the cost of living crisis. I will definately be returning for help with hopping on the mortgage ladder. Highly recommend these guys.

What ever you do - do not got to Rebecca the mortgage advisor!! We went to her last year to renew our mortgage. She kept pushing for us to pay £600 for this scheme where we don’t pay any fees for future mortgages. We paid. A week later she’s telling us she can’t get us a mortgage! She would ignore all our calls and emails. So we decided to go independently and got our mortgage straight away! We continued to contact her for our £600 back as we received NO SERVICE from her to which she kept ignoring us! My partner has been going backwards and forwards with someone her office for around a year now ,who also agreed this was wrong, has now told us they’re not giving us our money back! Might I add we are two grieving parents that had not long lost our child at that time and she knew and met them the last time we’d met her. Praying on the vulnerable and conning them out of their hard earned money! Absolutely disgusting you should be ashamed!

The most awful experience with Freeman Foreman. I had to spend thousands of pounds to renovate my property because of bad tenants and very poor management! I went through the courts to evict the tenants and ended with thousands of arrears that were not managed since 2020.

Very little in the way of feedback apart from urging us to drop the price (despite us having marketed at the price they suggested.)

Basically the agent in the branch in Tonbridge just lies to us all the time. We bought a flat from them, agreed the price with the seller and started the buying process then all of a sudden another offer is made through another . Then we don't hear any more and for the last week they don't answer my messages or call back. We don't know if we have the flat or not, presumably not but they haven't told us anything. They are an awful company so beware. I am disgusted with their attitude.

Mis-Sold on the property. We were told the property was a freehold property however once our solicitors reviewed the contacts we found out the property didn’t come with title or deeds to the land. In other words we’d be buying some very expensive bricks with no way of reselling the property. We pulled the offer and logged a complaint only to be told it was not Freeman Foreman’s responsibility to know if the property came with title and deeds and that they were actually free to advertise the property as they wished.
